Tate Britain
hosted an installation by Lucy Gunning which featured dance. “It’s as if Degas has come back – to hang around outside dance academies with a video camera. There is the sound of traffic rushing by around you. You are alone on a busy street, looking up at the young women learning to dance.

Isamu Nogushi
An exhibition of the work of Isamu Nogushi (1904 – 88) was at the Design Museum until 18 November 01, as part of the Japan 2001 season.
