Dr Dawn Harper

Dr. Dawn is a GP based in Gloucestershire. She works at an NHS surgery in Stroud and also runs private clinics focusing on women’s health and menstrual disorders. Dawn has been working as a media doctor for six years and her ability to simplify complex medical issues has made her an extremely sought-after medical commentator and expert.

As well as presenting Embarrassing Bodies, Dawn also presents Embarrassing Bodies: Live from the Clinic, which was first shown on Channel 4 in summer 2011 and featured live consultations given to patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Dawn is a regular contributor on ITV1’s This Morning and Woman’s Hour on Radio 4. She also writes for a variety of publications including Healthspan, Healthy Food Guide, Healthy and Mother and Baby magazine.

Her first book, Dr Dawn’s Health Check, was published in 2007 by Mitchell Beazley.
