Episode Guide

Episode 1 - Series 7

Young dad Dan comes to meet Dr Christian in the clinic with a hole in his head and looking for help to rebuild his face. Meanwhile Jaya wants to know if Dr Dawn can help her find a voice after an unusual medical condition has left her with a distorted voicebox. And Dr Pixie sees a woman who’s hoping for some help with childhood burns to her chest and back.

In Magaluf our four holidaymakers kick off their week long body wrecking binge minutes after they step off the plane, determined to party despite Dr Pixie’s concerns about the mammoth drinking session. The EB truck pulls in to Manchester where Dr Dawn meets a man whose testicles are in a twist and some overgrown feet. And we find out that building body parts to order, using our own cells really isn’t that far into the future.

The EB team would like to thank:

hi i have ordered someof this from microskin europe i paid 89 euros for a colour set had no reply from them on a delivery date i have sent loads of email i now think this is a scan i am ring channel 4 up about this company i will let you know what happens

My comment is about the piece you did on Dan with the hole in his face through having cancer. I just wanted to say how excellent this was covered and reassuring to me and my sister (who has recently been told she has cancer). She started with a lump on her nose, which after being misdiagnosed spread to her lymph gland in her neck. She's recently had an operation to remove most of her nose and both lymph glands on either side of the neck and the complete saliva gland on one side of her face. It was reassuring to see that other people are going through or have gone through a similar situation to my sister and come through the other side smiling. After watching last night's show, she feels more confident about her current condition and is looking forward to completing treatment and having her nose rebuilt using her own skin and cartilage. I would also like to say that my sister is a very healthy person, rarely drinks alcohol, never smokes, always wears a very high sun protection cream even when it's not even that sunny. She contracted cancer through no fault of her own and it's lovely to see your programme covering cancer in young people. Thank you so much. Kate.
