Episode Guide

Episode 1

First through the Embarrassing Illnesses doors was 55-year-old Nick. Having suffered with painful haemorrhoids since his early teens, it was only now that he could face the shame to see a doctor. Next up was 24 year-old Alex, sent in by his partner with a case of Athlete’s Foot that he’d had for over two years! His girlfriend had finally had enough of sharing her boyfriend (and her bedroom!) with his ‘stilton’ like condition, declaring that it was ‘Me or the Toe!’

Also through the clinic doors came Charlotte, who was not sure what was normal down below there was 20-year-old Victoria with a worrying case of inverted nipples, as well as Nicky who suffered from excessive gas. Last in to the clinic was 46-year-old Dave, whose skin tag brought a somewhat fishy suggestion from Dr Jessen.

The first week of surgery also saw the doctors take a detailed look at testicular cancer, so Dr Jessen headed down to Moseley Rugby Club to persuade the team to take matters into their own hands…

Hello I'm a 15-year-old girl and I've been having a smelly discharge from my vagina since I was in 5th grade. It's white and smells bad. Dx It used to have a strange brown color, but now it rarely happens. I have to put a bunch of toilet paper/extra pads to keep it from discoloring my underwear and to prevent it from smelling. I've gotten used to that the past 3 years and I get insecure without it.... What is it? And how do I get rid of it? I can't tell my legal guardians since I'm way too embarrassed and they aren't very good at keeping secrets to themselves... (They talk too much) Can someone tell me how to get rid of it? And how do I prevent it from coming back? :(

It sounds like you have bacterial vaginosis also known as BV.. You need to get to a gynecologist so they can get you the proper antibiotics to get rid of the discharge and smell. Sorry that you have been living with this for years. Talk to an adult you can trust and get to the doctor. Bacterial vaginosis is a mild infection of the vagina  caused by bacteria. Normally, there are a lot of "good" bacteria and some "bad" bacteria in the vagina. The good types help control the growth of the bad types. In women with bacterial vaginosis, the balance is upset. There are not enough good bacteria and too many bad bacteria. Bacterial vaginosis is usually a mild problem that may go away on its own in a few days. But it can lead to more serious problems. So it's a good idea to see your doctor and get treatment. Experts are not sure what causes the bacteria in the vagina to get out of balance. But certain things make it more likely to happen. Your risk of getting bacterial vaginosis is higher if you: Have more than one sex partner or have a new sex partner.Douche.Bacterial Vaginosis-Cause You may be able to avoid bacterial vaginosis if you limit your number of sex partners and don't douche or smoke. Bacterial vaginosis is more common in women who are sexually active. But it can occur if you are not sexually active as well. The most common symptom is a smelly vaginal discharge. It may look grayish white or yellow. A sign of bacterial vaginosis can be a "fishy" smell, which may be worse after sex. About half of women who have bacterial vaginosis do not notice any symptoms. Many things can cause abnormal vaginal discharge, including some sexually transmitted infections (STIs). See your doctor so you can be tested and get the right treatment. Doctors diagnose bacterial vaginosis by asking about the symptoms, doing a pelvic exam, and taking a sample of the vaginal discharge. The sample can be tested to find out if you have bacterial vaginosis.

Discharge it's a problem, how can I stop it. Pls help I dnt even enjoy sex I. Only tink about it

Hi Iam not sure if my vagina is normal. Iam not what a normal vaginal entrance looks like. Is it just a gaping hole? or is there something on either side of the hole?

Labia. the "something on either side" is called labia- and it's different from person to person. There is no perfect vagina that every woman can reference her own to. The way yours is, is the way it should be- and is completely different from every other woman you will meet. If youre concerned, talk to your mother- or OBGYN

It's most likely a yeast infection. Easy to get rid of with over the counter medication. Although it's not usually associated with sex it can be a result of too tight clothing and/or wearing wet clothing too long like a swimsuit or wet jeans. i had this issue a few times after horse back riding through rough terrain all day including crossing a river on a few occasions. I recommend Monistat7. Follow the information on the package and you should feel relief in a day or so and it'll be gone in about 4-7 days if you use the meds as directed.

im a girl(13) and i have big lumps and small lumps alla round my boobs , im scared it might be breast cancer but i dont want to see my gp ,, what shall i do ?

So Donette, you are on whats called the Depo Provera shot, short for Depo shot. And that brown stuff you have coming out is just old blood from your period lining from the missed periods you have. It is completely normal, but just make sure you see your OBGYN and they do a vaginal ultra sound to make sure that your lining isn't getting to thick in your uterus because then that will cause problems and at that point you will have to stop the shot and just have a period. But to be honest I think you are fine and that brown stuff is just old period blood. So nothing to worry about! :)
