Ive been taking antibiotics for thrush in my mouth and gullet but wasnt working, now they think its acid reflux but ive had it years without this death breath matalic taste in the mouth, I feel like everyone can smell me! Help
Hi, 2 years ago i had a smell of bonfire smoke up my nose, 6 months on it went and i was left with no sense of smell or taste. I sometimes have a strange taste of metal in my mouth. I cannot taste anything or even smell the strongest of smells. I have seen a specialist and he offered me steroid sprays and tablets, neither worked, I went back he put a camera up my nose, this made me faint and the only observation he came up with was that I had small nasal passage. He said my sense of smell and taste would come back in time. It hasnt and I am at my wits end with it all. Please can you give me any advice?? Kind regards, Sharan Berry
My discharge has always been normal but I recently tasted my discharge, because I'm always self conscience when my boy friend gives me oral. My discharge has this sour taste that has never been there before. This has been going on for at least three weeks now. My discharge has no smell and my vagina doesn't itch or anything out of the ordinary but this sour taste. I want to know what I can do so it can return to it's original taste.
Hello I am 22, and for the last couple of years I was told I had bad breath by my partner occasionally. I think the problem could be my digestive system. It could be GERD but not sure as I read it affects mostly older and overweight people but I'm quite tall and slim. My posture is not that great cause I am 6'2'' and often have to look down, also I have sunken chest which is not as bad as some cases I've seen but noticeable. I've read that can be an issue regarding acid reflux. When I was a child I had a friend who had bad back and didn't have pillows on her bed and I got into a habit of not putting my head on a pillow when sleeping. Recently I've slept with pillows but my partner says that in the night my head often hangs down at the edge of the bed which is likely to be causing the stomach juices to flow into my esophagus and mouth. Because when I put my head on a pillow I feel like I can't breath as my head is sinking into the pillow. And sometimes it causes bad breath in the morning. I often have alcohol like beers and wine and eat various foods, large portions, and often get very full. I've had bitter taste in my mouth for the last few days and last night I had a big meal with lots of alcohol and this morning with the bad taste in my mouth I also have a burning sensation in the esophagus. Can someone tell me what it is, is it GERD or some other acid reflux problem, How should I change my diet and lifestyle. Thanks Ante
Hello, I am a 25 year old male. Recently a sexual partner of mine told me she had some kind of infection which made it difficult for her to urinate without some discomfort. This came about shortly after we had oral sex for the first time. On my side, I have noticed an odd taste from the back of my mouth a couple of days after. It is very strong when I swallow. The taste I have is not a bad one as such, I just never had it before. Now though, about two weeks on I am (finally) beginning to wonder if the taste is connected with the oral sex experience. It was my first time to do it so I did not know what to expect so I can not comment on how it should taste. Am I likely to have caught something she had but didn't know about while my gallivanting downstairs, in essence, pushed it to give her the urinary discomfort? I will be getting myself checked out within the next week, I just thought I would ask here as I am curious to say the least. Thanks btw: To the site designers, I wanted to pose this question under the bad breath symptom but the site does not allow such a thing.
I suffer from a bleachy, metallic taste in the mouth, which seems to come from the taste buds every time I eat or drink, and it's like swallowing poison. It's intermittant, and sometimes I'm fine for a week, and then it's back again. Anyone has any ideas?
I can taste palma violets in my mouth. Is this normal?
I regularly get a taste of ammonia in the back of my throat (3-5 times a week - anytime) - I have had tonsil problems for years, in that they are permanently enlarged, I have breathing problems and snore loudly. I also suffer from heartburn quite often, although not so much lately, so I am wondering if these problems could be related. I have found recently that the taste comes after I have gulped down a drink but it is very irregular. My partner says he can't smell it but the taste for me is really pungent and overpowering. I can even feel it in the back of my nose. There is no pain associated but the regularity of this problem has become a cause of concern. It started about 4 months ago.
you need to get your tonsils removed through surgery, it's possible they may have some sort of infection which isn't tonsillitus. the important thing to know is that the tonsils are a part of the body that are not needed for anything, they're basically useless. all they do is get infected, getting them removed will be beneficial to you, a lot of children get them remeoved when they're young if they have suffered from tonsilitus more than twice, and will probably solve your problem! it's a scary thought but theres nothing to be affraid of trust me! good luck
I'm 23 and had my tonsilis removed a few days ago. Since then anything sweet that I eat or drink taste horrible even brushing my teeth leaves a horrible taste in my mouth. What has cause this and how can it be fixed?
I have recently had really bad breath all day even 10 minutes after brushing my teeth. I can taste it to and nothing seems to be gettings rid of it or even masking the smell and taste. I didn't know if it was my new teeth coming in or if it was anything else but it's like it's right at the back of my month almost in my throat maybe on tongue. Please help!!
try this.after you brush your teeth, put a little amount of hydrogen peroxide in a glass of water.(1:1)then without rinsing your mouth, dip the toothbrush in the mixture of water and hp.brush your whole mouth, tongue, sides and at the back of your tongue.then use the remaining mixture to gargle.you can drink water with lemon or ginger, peppermint tea after that.
My discharge has changed in taste... it has always been sweet in taste but now tastes bitter? It smells the same and has not changed in colour... what should I do?
