i am 20, and recently i have been getting a lot of urine infections and thrush, once a month i will get them and it takes about 1 week to clear up, i wear cotton knickers, drink enough, it normally comes with snotty bloody discharge. i don't know what i'm doing to cause it and i need to know what i can do to prevent it in the future? it never used to be like this, my daughter is 16 months and this started happening about 3 months ago. please help!
Rosie, head off the Doctors.. Your body is telling you via showing signs it is not happy. Go and take 15 mins with a GP and have this ongoing and what must be a frustrating situation addressed..You want to ensure its is not a underlining greater issue. If he or she cant assist, then ask for a referral for a specialist in that field.. When you go to Gp take a clean thoroughly washed jar with a sample of your mid stream urine . They do not need much so some preliminary tests can be done.. Rosie, words on a computer is not going to solve this, go and see someone that can.. Be pro active with your health.. its your quality of life that is been effected,... reclaim it... Take care
I have what I thought was a spot on my inner thigh right where my labia majora meets the leg. The spot burst and bloody pus drains out. So I cover it up with a hydrocolloid plaster. The hole where the ups was draining out got bigger and deeper every time in change the dressing and more bloody pus drains out. It has been a few days already now. It is sort when I touch it, and I seemed like it a staph aureus infection. What shall I do?
i have been suffering with stomach/lower abdomen pains, major bloating i look 9 months pregnant, for nearly 6 months, increased urination, blood in the urine, quite alot of urine infections, they think my urethra is not wide enough meaning that im not letting all the urine out, there for the old urine is stayin inside causing infection - what causes this to happen? and should i undergo the surgery suggested.
I I'm 65years old I suffer with inconteance I have had hystrostmy and overs removed I'm wee in little Sparta with sting pain with bit off blood in it
when I go for a pee I dribble after I have finished
would it was the cluster warts, when they burst could there be a bloody/watery discharge? do genital wart burst? I thought genital warts where hard with a root, so can they be large and soft a when burst expel a bloody discharge?????
im pretty sure that warts dont burst. i think herpes (the other strain) can. have you been to see a doctor to check what, exactly you have?
I started getting cystitis when I was 16 years old, at first I would just get it once every month have a course if anti biotics and it would clear up but then it started to get worse until I could never get rid of it and the anti biotics wouldn't clear it up. At first there was signs of bacteria in my urine but now there is nothing apart from a high white blood cell count. Ive been referred to urology had several tests including xrays, ultra sound, flexible cystoscopy and rigid. When I got referred to urology I also got told to take a course of antibiotics for a prolonged period of 9 months, never cleared it up. I constantly have symptoms (all day every day) of mild cystitus, my urine test come up healthy apart from the high white bloody cell count, the only thing that does get rid of the pain for a few days is taking a thrush tablet but recently I've had swab tests and it came up negative to thrush. I'm now 19 and I've been having this problem for three years, it effects every aspect of my life in that its constantly on my mind. Please help me
Hi, I too have been suffering from this for about 2 years now with very little help or support from doctors giving useless antibiotics and preaching about personal hygiene (I'm meticulous!!) I did however discover a herbal remedy called D-Mannose which amazingly appears to reduce symptoms radically. Although I still get mild symptoms, this stuff really works. Google it, look at amazon at all the positive reviews from women like you and I and give it a try... I hope it works for you too!!! Take care.
Hey, im exactly the same as you, first it came rarely and only lasted a day or so. Now i get it all the time, sometimes severe but most days mild. There is nothing in my urine except high white blood cell count and NOTHING works. Maybe you could speak to your doctor or urologist about a condition called 'intersistal cystitis'. Im really hoping i dont have it, but i dont know what else to do :(. It takes control of your life, so i feel your pain!
I have a urine infection and I bed wet. After a bit of urine passed I start to get pains in parts below and that's when I wake up and need to clean myself. I also wash my bottom. My urine is dark and painful. I sit up for a while with no clothes to see my vagina cos that's itchy alot. My labia sticks out about 1.5cm
Hi i'm 21. 3weeks ago i had pyelonephritis. when i went to the doctor for follow up, the test showed that there was no bacteria and that the wbc in the urine had decreased considerably but then after 2 days i went back for the urine test and this time there was presence of bacteria in the urine plus an increase in the wbc in the urine. the doc said it's probably from a vaginal yeast infection since the culture test showed that presence of bacteria was clinically insignificant and that it commonly occurs after use of antibiotics. it's been three days now since i've taken the fluconazole pill for the yeast infection and i can still see that my urine is a bit cloudy and a bit oily with pointy things in it that look like small bubbles. so now i'm getting worried. does anyone have any idea if the urine is weird and may indicate another underlying problem???
when my vagina hurts, I know that I should pass urine. My urine is a light yellow. I feel that my vagina is sore inside. I drink plenty of drinks in the day, water, diet coke and the odd capuccino. This problem has just occurred in the last 2 weeks. I do not have a burning pain when passing urine. I am 53 yrs of age.
Could it be thrush?
