My vagina is blueish. I didn't even notice it until I took a picture with flash on to see if everything looked okay down there and that is when I saw the blue and when I just look down there I can't see the blue as far as I can see down anyway. But there is some blue in the picture. Not bad, everything is pink as should be but I have noticed that it has a blue tint to it on the clit parts that hang down and I'm worried. I'm a teenager and I've had sex probably ten times total and have used protection EVERY time except once and that was almost two years ago. I haven't had sex in nine months. Kind of worried about this slight blueness. Just wondering if I'm the only one and Is it normal?

To be honest I'd imagine it is just the flash. Try taking the pic again but under a good light and with the camera flash turned off.

Inside my flaps I have blue dots and some blue purple lines that almost look like stretch marks? I'm only 17 and I've never had sex but it isn't very attractive is it anything I should worry about?

It is normal and typical of many women. You have nothing to worry about (well you probably do, but the shape of your vulva (the vagina is inside and one can't easily see it) is not one of them).

I am a 27 year old female and I have had a problem with extreamly cold hands and feet for a couple of years now following heavy weight loss - my hands and feet got white and my nails and lips go blue. The rest of me then goes completely cold once it starts. I also get a numb and tingaling in them and it takes me hours to warm up - usually only working when I get into a warm bath and get a stinging sensation when the feeling returns to them. I even get this in the warm summer months and find I sually need to wear a jumper even in the summer. Although I can find on occations I overheat rapidly for no reason. I have been to the GP many times but always get told its just to do with poor circulation but after seeing the show I wonder if it is Raynaud’s Syndrome? I also get very weak and dizzy and didn't know if this had anything to do with this symdrome or not? Are there any treatments availible as I hate feeling so cold all the time. :( Please Help!

hi i am 22 year old female, i have recently been diagnosed with Reynauds syndrome after my fiance saw the show and going to my gp, (i just thought i was cold), anyway my gp gave me this website to look up, www.raynauds.org.uk it has all the information on Raynauds syndrome you could ask for, plus if that does not help you they have a phone number where you can talk to someone about this condition and you can order a free information pack. I hope this helps. :). xx

hi im 16 and was diagnosed with raynauds as well as Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) which i got as a byproduct of a genetic condition. See if lying flat helps to relieve the cold and blue extremeties and dizziness, then look up POTS on wikipedia and see if u have any of the other symptoms, hope this helps

im 14 and for a year now i always seem to have sweaty hands i went to the doctors and they gave me a rolling thing to put over my hands but this just dried it up and made my hands sore, my armpits and feet always get hot to im terrified of injections what else can its sooooo embarrassing??

Speaking from experience it is unlikely you have a long term medical problem given that it has only started one year ago. Speak to the doctor about the Iontopheresis treatment it sounds more appropriate. Mind you after the treatment the saliva in your mouth dries up so I would recommend some oily foods to eat.

Im EXACTLY the same, i get sweaty hands feet and armpits! i went to the ddoctors and they also gave me a rolling thing to roll over my hands, when i put it on my hands dry up but they go all wrinkly and dont stay dry for that long! when i have to do dancing with boys in P.E its embaressing because i have to explain the problem! PLEASE can someone help me find a cure for this, i hate it and i dont want to have it for any longer! :(

I have been informed of my having Dupuytren`s Contracture by my GP (2012), in both hands this giving me three years in which I`d lose use of both hands. Two others in the family (both Females)also have this condition. My question yet unanswered by anybody is: Why are my hands/fingers being effected in the exact opposite to that of Dupuytren`s? I am unable to bend my fingers so Why is this so, and is it possible that my hands are being effected by two conditions at the same time the second being Carpel Tunnel Syndrome? If so, what treatments are available and what are the prospects of regaining full use of my fingers?

HI im 26. and i keep on having issues with my hands/fingers.Iv had it on and off for 5yrs now. It pops up mostly during the autumn-winter months but iv had it in april. My fingers tend to swell very slowly and they are sometimes itch/sting. they swell so bad i cant bend my fingers and do simple things like brushing my hair without it hurting..keeping them warm makes them worse but letting them get too cold makes the tips of my fingers go blue. Iv had ultrasounds and xrays and blood test and its nothing related to arthritus or reynolds! could cutting out certain foods help??

I am 14 yrs old and I have noticed that from the age of 6 I have had really cold hands. My hand are always a deep red colour. In cold places my hands turn blue, like when i'm outside. My hands, in winter, swell up and then i can't even curl my hands up into a fist. I am very worried and not sure what to do. Do i have Raynaud’s Syndrome or is it somehting else?

It sounds like you do have Raynaud's. i'm 25 and have had the same problem for years where i can't even bend my fingers as it hurts so much. Went to the doctors and was told not alot can be done for Raynaud's, but best thing is to try and keep them warm. try not to worry, so many people suffer from this.

I was born with freezing cold hands. When I'm in temperatures that are at least around 20 degrees my hands look like I walked out a freezer. If the temperature is any lower than 10 degrees my hands turn purple/blue and have orange patches on top. The bad thing about this is in summer when my friends use my hands as ice packs

My daughters' hands and feet are mostly cold. They both appear blue and dull looking. In ration to this her lips are constantly blue, with the outer part being more blue than the rest of the lips. Her skin is pale too. I'm not sure whether this is this condition however would love it if someone could assess her. She is 15 in a few months, 5feet 5 inches and weighs 7 stone 4 pounds. Her periods also stopped 18 months ago for no apparent reason.

I think your daughter might be aneroxic. bring her to a doctor asap.

Seeing a doctor is a great idea! I too at young age had my period then it just went away. For a long time. It bothered me but I said nothing. I have had raynauds I am very sure since I was 10 but I only knew what it was since a year ago!! Bc I wouldn't speak up about it. I have had a long journey of good days bad days and it has its moments when it turns off. So far I have hone a year straight with symptoms daily but its not a bad thing bc I'm learning what helps what triggers and how to cope with it all. I have always been very athletic and I now coach sports. Please do take to see doctor every case is different in my case no periods lead to more health issues and it has been a hard journey. However choose to see every situation in a positive way!!! Hope this helps.

raynauld's doesn't make your hands sweaty it does the opposite and you get really cold hands that go blue and patchy. see your GP i was told at 15 just have to keep my hands warm through out the winter months or when its cold

my daughter is 3 now she has raynards her hands, arms ,feet and her face all turn blue but sometimes she goes black she has had it since new born i just put extra clothing on wen its cold but even in summer wen its warm she stills go blue, dont worry she will be fine.

I am 14 and I have extremely sweaty hands! It is really fustrating as I am doing my GCSE's and cant grip my pen. It happens outside of school aswell, even on very cold days! My hands also turn blue!! Help!!!!

my hands go wild colours when it's cold or i do exercise, it doesn't even need to be very cold for them to get like that. they go colours like blue and purple and have orange patches. they can also just go really blotchy with different colours. and when i put my hands into fists, where my knuckle bones are, the skin goes white where the bone is pressing on the skin. whenever i touch my hands, it leaves them white for a while after i take my hands away. this is the same for my feet. i always put this down to bad circulation but it could be raynuads?

hi , i was diagnosed with raynauds syndrome at seven yrs old im 22 now, what your describing is spot on classic symptoms,it is more than likely that you have it but its nothing to worry about , although it can be uncomfortable at times and there is no definitive treatment the best i can offer is take up moderate excersise to help with circulation, smoking is a big no no as i only realised after i quit that it had made the episodes worse, also natural supplements such as ginger extract help, ask your doctor to check you for rhumatoid arthritus as it can be the cause for some peoples raynauds, hope this helps :-)

Hi, I have exactly the same thing but it seems to appear mostly on my arms and legs!I also find that scars and bruises, even those from a cat scratch or a graze will last for a really long time! I find if I stand say at the sink to wash up my legs go blotchy and kind of itchy?!I went to my GP and he told me it was Raynauds!

I am 22 and have a problem with my hands. They are nearly always cold and go purple and blue in colour. If i have my hands down by my side or in my pocket they get very red. The only time they are a normal pale colour is when I am in moderately warm room. Is there any cure for them.

i get this a lot, my fingers go all white and freezing numb, i can have it a good while i went to my gp and he said it was normal my lips go blue quite a lot to i even get it when my hands are in hot water, my friend said my hands are like a dead persons and when i have it if i press my thumb in it doesnt go back to normal until after its gone it can be quite scary at times

I have no idea if i have it... but for a while now my hands go cold, turn bright blue and then my fingers turn bright pink. Even when it's warm outside or even when im inside the house they still turn blue and pink. My classmates always point it out and find it strange. Could i have it?

I often get dark blue backs of my hands, especially on my left for some reason and the pain is a lot more distinct on my left hand, also. The pain can also be felt when I press gently. I also get a tingling sensation but not often, again distinctly in my left hand at the tops or fingers (it differs from different fingers), down my thumb and in the middle of the back of my hand. My hands turn blue very easily in cold weather to add to that. I do participate in sports such as rugby and other outdoor sports which I have been doing a lot of recently (start of the year) so it has been fairly cold outside. I have been wearing gloves as much as I can and keeping them warm as much as possible and paying constant attention to them. According to my parents, I have always had cold hands, if they were warm at all they would be clammy. I was also in a lesson, in - doors, at school and according to my class mates it was fairly warm in there; my hands turned the most blue I have ever seen them in my life and I started to get a bit of a numb feeling in them and started to panic a bit. As my hands warm up you can see my skin on the back of my hands go white and red in differentiating places; almost blotchy. One thing I thought I should add is that I do get nervous and stressed sometimes for no apparent reason with weird tempos of my heartbeat, I also believe I have a bit of a problem with anger. My hands do however, return to a normal colour in doors more than often in warm temperatures but can still feel a numb feeling sometimes and a feeling of heaviness often and random stinging pains and a TOO warm feeling in them - in my palms at least; the underside and tips of my fingers are still cold. I have been experiencing this on - off for a while now but in the last few days I have obviously had an outbreak in these symptoms and decided to reach for help to at least get a good idea of what I may be experiencing and how to cure/ help degrade the problem before I go to my GP which I will do soon. I would highly appreciate anyone's advice and take it in with an open mind. I know most of the time Dr. Internet isn't the most reliable source but again, all advice is greatly appreciated.

might be an idea to ensure you eat healthily with lots of leafy green vegetables and fruit. Possibly see another doctor and have a blood test to check your immunity / vascular system

Hi, I am 14 and since I was about 7 or 8 (around that) I had noticed that when I was too warm (which tends to be a lot of the time) my hands, feet and underarms get pretty sweaty and tend to go bright red (no the underarms obv.), this is so embarrassing especially when I'm in school and my hands are dripping with sweat all over my work. I hate this and it happens often, but when I am cold my hands and toes go either red or purple/blue and I have had this since I was a baby (apparently). I was just wondering if anyone had similar symtoms and if my self-diagnosis is correct - i think i might have Hyperhydrosis and Raynaud's syndrome :( If anyone has any tips to prevent or lessen my symtoms (especially for the Hyperhydrosis) It would be appreciated greatly :) My granda might have the Raynaud's Syndrone if that might be connected to me bacause he gets really cold hands and if he enters a warm room when he has been in the cold, he used to faint but thankfully he doesn't really do that anymore :) Please help /:

Yes I know that it doesn't make your hands sweaty that why i think i have both Hyperhydrosis and Raynaud's syndrome because i either have really cold hands or really sweaty and it is so embarrassing in school :( thanks for commenting though :)

I'm in high school (Now 14 years old) and when I go out to participate in sports, such as outdoor: basketball, football, I experience colder hands than most if not all of my other colleagues. Often when this happens, the tips of my middle finger go numb, and turn a yellowish colour. Sometimes my finger nails/tip of my fingers go a dark blue/purple. At a worst case scenario, I find it hard to move my hands in any situation. Thanks

Sounds a lot like Raynauds. I am 32 now and I have only known about my Raynauds condition for a year now. The thing about Raynauds is it kinda has an off and on button at its own desire. As a teen I too had cold numb hands but I lived in New Mexico nights there were cold cold and I ignored it. I participated in a lot of sports and same thing! The trick is it is also a mind control solution. Breathe deeper so your blood can flow and try keep your hands warm. Avoid touching freezing things because that triggers a phenomenon which is a cold attack. If you try stay warm relax more it helps. If you play a lot of video games that might trigger your cold numb attacks. Icy hot often helps I used that a lot for sports when I had no knowledge of raynauds. However ts like to your parents and seeing a doctor will also help. Raynauds wont put breaks on you or your life stay positive and alwats find the will to enjoy your everyday life cold hands or warm hands! Best of luck!!

hello my hands go from blue to green to orange to purple they dont go wite im only 13 and its eally embarising in class :'( what can i doo?? the docter dose not do noting

I am almost 15 years old now and from when i was about 9 years old my hands have been going a blue or purple colour when i am cold and red with orange blotches when i am warm. It also happens to my feet. They stay like that from 25 minutes to days on end, and they are always really cold, but i do try to keep them warm all the time, but it never works. And i have tryed all the suggestions made on this website, also it is very embarrasing for me because people at school always comment on the colour of my hands.could this be Raynaud's syndrome? if it is are there any other ways people know how to stop it?
