Can rectal prolapse cause burning sensation, stinging felling in the anus? Thank you
Yes but so can an internal hemorrhoid. To be sure you'd have to go to your doctor. Very often he or she could tell you which it is just by giving you a simple digital rectal exam right there in the office. I hope this helps!
Hi I have what looks like another anus between my anus and scrotum (much nearer my anus). It will expand and contract in line with my anus (if that makes sense),it is about the same diameter as a finger tip but it causes no pain or discomfort at all and ive had it as long as i can remember. What is it? Should I worry about it?

Okay, my boyfriend and I have been together for 6 years. We have unprotected sex and neither of us have ever been diagnosed with any STDs. For the past few months every time we have sex I get a burning itching feeling around my vagina and anus. I am prone to yeast infections and UTIs but they have never felt like this before. Now, about two days ago, he put a finger inside my anus. We have had anal sex before without any issues, but today I have been feeling very sore in that area. I just took a look in the mirror and I have a swollen red bump there....what is happening to me!?! We have never had an issue with any sort of STDs or rashes. What is this?
I was given Ciprofloxacin 500mg taken twice daily for 2 weeks for suspect prostatitis. After finishing the course of treatment, im getting burning sensation in anus, testicles,& base of penis. Is that normal after taking the antibiotics, as a side effect?I ejaculated for the first time in 3 weeks, & my semen was brown/yellow-whitish in colour. The ejaculation was painful with burning sensation.Im currently taking a mood stabiliser Quetiapine 200mg for Bi-polar.Please could you advise me, as what to do next. Many thanks.
Hi Christian, sorry to here your suffering from suspected prostatitis. I too have gone through this embarrassing and painful condition and still living with many issues 2 years down the line. Try not to take too many Ciprofloxacin as I believe it's now left me with nerve damage down my left leg and groin area. The specialist's say I now have Prostadynia or chronic non-bacterial prostatitis! Drink plenty of water and ejaculate to clear your tubes at least two to three times a week. I know it's painful to do that but it's best to get rid of the build up and pressure in your prostate. Sometimes your urethra sticks together after ejaculation as the semen is thick like glue so always urinate straight away after to clear any debris. You may need another short course of antibiotics to help clear things up more...but try not to take too many. I must have been on a bucket load and I'm now counting the cost!. One more thing, it's not just your prostate thats inflammed it's all your pipe works including your urethra, vas deferens, seminal vesicles and epididymis in yor testicles. It can cause perineum pain, pubic pain and back pain too. I hope this bit of info will help...Prostatitis affects everybody differently, some have more or less problems than others...

I have been having trouble with my anus for the past 18 months or so. My partner and I often have anal sex but I can no longer receive because I have a strong sensitivity just inside my anus. I suspected this was a result of piles but I tried every medication and diet possible to no success. My anus is even too sensitive to check myself with a finger. The area of sensitivity also seems to be swollen at the moment. What could this be?
Hey how are you I am having similar symptoms to what you have had! All I want to really know is, has it gone away for you? I'm scared I will have it for life. It's so irritable and sore, I too participate in anal sex and it's put a real dampener on life for me and my partner at the moment ! I have had it for around 2 months. Thanks ! Please reply . I think it's called procitus which is inclination of the anus.
