Conditions with symptom: 'burning toes'
Hi, my mum who is non smoker, aged 58 and she started with fungal nail as GP said and then spread out every toes. She also said sometime itchy and burning sensation. When that happen, she puts her foot in warm water and felt better. We have tried as much as I could think of to cure it from the local pharmacy, recommended cream but no major improvement. Now she has no nail left on any of her toes and very sensitive. Sometime hurt to walk around and bleed easily. Nails have not grown back for nearly 6 months. Could someone help me please? I don't know what to do. Thank you in advance.
I have had my bones in my toes (next to big toe) pinned a few times to straighten them when I was younger which failed to work leaving the toes still overlapping. Every year especially during the summer months I suffer with my toes constantly rubbing causing blisters. Is it possibly to get toes removed privately and still have full function ie walking running?? Rob
I have the same problem as well
My feet sweat a lot even without socks on an they get really red and swollen which sometimes stops me from walking around, my toes peel as a result because they crack and the dead skin peels, the side of my toe nails are yellow looking and you can pull the side of my toe an get a nail file down the side of my toes on both big toes Which results in my sock 'fluff' getting trapped down there and putting more pressure on my toes.
I had chilblains about five years ago on my toes. But after that winter they stopped itching. My toes are still swollen and red from the chilblains, they don't itch or hurt like chilblains anymore but they look horrible. One or two of my toes are twice the size that they were before, is there anything I can do to make my toes normal size?
hot water treatment will give u extremely relief... try dis 4-5 times in a day..or b4 going 2 bed...wen it becomes so much irritated 4 us...so drowning ur feets in normally hot water for 15 mintes each tym...best of luck...
Been reading about Raynauds Syndrome after seeing the show Friday 26 Mar, and relating some of the symptoms to myslef. What I would like to know is after my fingers and toes go cold and white/blue, they then go red and feel like they are burning, and go very numb in most cases, this is more apparent on my fingers as my feet are in socks and footwear. As they warm up they tingle really strongly and sometimes feel like they are burning again as they do when they get cold. This happens most mornings during the cold months. Is this Raynauds? or something else?
My big toes are bent towards my other toes and sometimes can be quite sore when wearing shoes. I never show my feet as I find them really embarrassing, I am sick of having to hide my feet and would like to wear sandals some day. I was wondering if there was any type of surgery to straighten my toes or is there anything I can do?
I have had atheletes foot for over 30 years I wash twice a day dry between my toes wear open toes shoes where possible, dry thoroughly between my toes, clean socks, different shoes weekly or daily. I have tried all treatments you can name from lamisil, mycil, tea tree anti fungal, anitbiotics, everything, my nails are also thick and brittle, I have to file them down in order to cut them. What else can I do
It was recommended to me to try canestan cream (thrush cream) and i found it worked

Can you help me please? I have really horrible feet. My toes are very long, my 2nd toe is bigger than the first and my 3rd is even bigger than the 2nd. I'm a 25 year old woman and never ever show my feet in public. I find that my feet pain when wearing shoes as my toes do not form the right shape for them. It's horrendous in summer as it is so hot and I have to wear shoes that cover my feet completely. Is there anything that can be done? Can this be corrected so my toes are the normal size?
