I am 23 years old.For the last two months,I am experiencing a strange burning sensation during passing urine.I am a virgin and have no boyfriend. The burning just refuses to cease even after I wash my vagina with water two-three times. My periods are normal. What could be the reason?
Sounds like you have cystitis which you can get from diet, how much water or alcohol you drink, underwear..... You can buy drinkable solutions to cure it over the counter, they taste a bit nasty but will clear it up in a couple of days. In the mean time, drink lots of fluid but definitely get the meds, if it doesn't go away see your doctor or if it's recurring you may have to look more closely at your diet... Hope that helps! :)
I have had a urine infection and took my last antibioic today but the burning sensation around the vagina hasn't gone.. If anything it has got worse!! It doesn't itch, its the worst possible burning sensation I've ever experienced
I have been googling and I found some bugs can get immune to the antibiotics depends how many times you had it and how many times you took the same types as for me I only twice I had it as bad that I needed antibiotics rest I self cured with water and cranberry juice just make sure it's a sugar free one go with ocean spray types either normal or light I'm guessing light won't taste as bitter when I get it I keep going to the loo and the discomfort goes away but it comes back the next day do I keep this routine going along with my cranberry juice and water betwe yet I sometimes sit on the toilet drink cranberry juice try to lean forward whilst on the toilet too best way to get all te crap out I also googled it! I may of bantered on about how I handle my cystitis but I know it has nothing to do with hygiene cos I keep my bits down there fresh I don't soap it cos of the PH balance but I spray water from the shower head down there to rinse out the nastys I also keep my bum clean too cos sometimes if bits of poo get round your vagina you get cystitis so I use wipes when I go to the toilet but thus time I'll get flush able ones cos I blocked the toilet >.<
When I suffer with this I take a homeopathic medication called Antitis. It is a Potter's Remedy and it works every time for me. Also drink water only for a few days. Avoid acidic drinks and tea and coffee. You will need to speak to the shop assistant especially if you are taking other medication.
