Sounds like you might have a urine infection if it burns when you pee. Or you may have chlamydia. Go to your doctors, it will be 100% confidential, and explain the problem, they will test you. I have had urine infections, they're not nice. However, I sometimes find after sex, it burns a bit when I pee, for a couple of days, because I get a bit of tearing quite often.

I am 23 years old.For the last two months,I am experiencing a strange burning sensation during passing urine.I am a virgin and have no boyfriend. The burning just refuses to cease even after I wash my vagina with water two-three times. My periods are normal. What could be the reason?

Sounds like you have cystitis which you can get from diet, how much water or alcohol you drink, underwear..... You can buy drinkable solutions to cure it over the counter, they taste a bit nasty but will clear it up in a couple of days. In the mean time, drink lots of fluid but definitely get the meds, if it doesn't go away see your doctor or if it's recurring you may have to look more closely at your diet... Hope that helps! :)

I have had a urine infection and took my last antibioic today but the burning sensation around the vagina hasn't gone.. If anything it has got worse!! It doesn't itch, its the worst possible burning sensation I've ever experienced

I have been googling and I found some bugs can get immune to the antibiotics depends how many times you had it and how many times you took the same types as for me I only twice I had it as bad that I needed antibiotics rest I self cured with water and cranberry juice just make sure it's a sugar free one go with ocean spray types either normal or light I'm guessing light won't taste as bitter when I get it I keep going to the loo and the discomfort goes away but it comes back the next day do I keep this routine going along with my cranberry juice and water betwe yet I sometimes sit on the toilet drink cranberry juice try to lean forward whilst on the toilet too best way to get all te crap out I also googled it! I may of bantered on about how I handle my cystitis but I know it has nothing to do with hygiene cos I keep my bits down there fresh I don't soap it cos of the PH balance but I spray water from the shower head down there to rinse out the nastys I also keep my bum clean too cos sometimes if bits of poo get round your vagina you get cystitis so I use wipes when I go to the toilet but thus time I'll get flush able ones cos I blocked the toilet >.<

When I suffer with this I take a homeopathic medication called Antitis. It is a Potter's Remedy and it works every time for me. Also drink water only for a few days. Avoid acidic drinks and tea and coffee. You will need to speak to the shop assistant especially if you are taking other medication.

Hi Melanie, Sounds like you may have cystitis which is a bladder infection. If you see your doctor they will be able to give you an antibiotic, if it comes back again you can try and control it by drinking lots of water, cranberry juice & if you are sexually active, urinating straight after intercourse to avoid infection. But check with your doctor. Hope this was helpful!

Hi, please help I have vaginal burning since the past 4.5 months and it is agony. I do not have discharge but constant burning and now the clitoris is burning too. I have noticed that eating sugary products flares it up and it gets worst before my period.

hello I have recently got through what I think you are suffering from. At first I thought I had become allergic to my own cervical mucus I was also very itchy and burny on the outside with swelling also. The Dr treated me for thrush, then BV both diagnosis were wrong. I ended up diagnosing myself. I had CV -- Cytolytic vaginosis is a condition and not an infection, caused by the excessive growth of the useful lactobacillus bacteria around the vulva and vaginal area, caused because I had started taking probiotics (actimel drinks etc) so it caused a good bacteria overload in my vagina. As soon as I stopped probiotics it went away hope this helps you

I have the almost the same problem I have constant burning sensations and sometimes numbness in the vaginal area ..I seen 4 different Dr's who said first was a bladder infection then a yeast infection I\ve been on many meds and nothing cured it ..and I can't get a sex drive because of the awkward feeling and I always feel like I have to empty my bladder even when I just did then the burning gets worse..grrr someone help me

Hi John, Go to your G.P. I'm not sure if the burning is another issue based on what you wrote. Burning from the tightness or for example burning from peeing. You also might want to try slow masturbation sessions using a long, slow stroke along with the cream might help stretch the skin some but don't over do it.

is it the semen that is burning you? and now you have stopped him coming inside you you don't suffer with the burning sensation? because i get a really severe burning sensation too when this happens.

I have suffered from this vaginal burning for at least 14 yrs. I bumped into a web site only this past week which suggested I up my intake of echinacea 500 mg 4x a day, oil of oregano 500 mg 2x a day, and now I have incorporated incorporated vitamin C 1000mg 3x a day. The burning have subsided tremendously. I feel like finally I'm on the right track to being healed of this horrible burning!

i had piles banded last year and was fine for six months , i have the same symptoms starting againi don't have blood or pain just after i have had a bowel motion ,a short while after i get burning which sometimes can last all day ,somedays i am fine,i have an app to see about getting more banded, could there be another reason why i am getting burning after a bm,sometimes my stomach feels very acidy could i have acid in my faeces which is causing the burning

I have in the past month have had 2 bouts of cystitis and have a constant burning inside the vagina but not when I go to the toilet. The burning is always there and no matter what I do it dosnt go away. It was ok but this happened literally over night. I went to the toilet and then had the most dreadful burning inside and it hasn't got better. my stomach becomes swollen as well I have seen the doctor who said i had a partial prolapse and prescribed hrt cream that I have to put inside I have read up and really do not want to chance getting cancer as my dad died of cancer. I am about to go and see the doctor yet again even tho my urine appears very cloudy this test I had this time didn't show up anything. I am only 52 and don't think I can cope with this burning much longer can anyone help

I often wondered what the intense burning almost annoying pins feeling was after attacks almost a burning so bad that the pins feeling almost itches so bad!!! My body does this a lot when its cold outside and I jog. My body warms up and bam it happens. Raynauds hasn't stopped my activity in jogging or sports neither has the burning aftermath. Bittersweet that others also suffer from this.

I am suffering from constant burning in my bladder area. it is worse after sex. i've had bouts of uti's and been given antibiotics. i've just had a scan on my bladder which came back clear. they also checked my kidneys and they were fine. why do I keep getting this burning sensation after sex. I HAve to drink plenty and go to the toilet to make sure I empty my bladder but the burning is constantly there. what can I do. i've had blood in my urine before but it just seems that the tube where I wee from is just so sore inside.I have done the regular peeing after sex and keeping myself clean but the stingy burning feeling is still there. I was told that I might need hrt pesseries which I disagree with. I had a hysterectomy in 92 and I had a prolapsed disc repaired. I had a lack of feeling on my left side in between so I don't know if this is contributing to my problem. I'm now fed up with this so any advice would be appreciated.

I am 34 and have been suffering from extreme burning for 4 weeks on the anal area (externally not internally). I have been to see my GP and have been to my local hospital. The doctors tell me the extreme burning pain is due to fissures. I also have piles. I have taken various ointments prescribed to me by the doctors, but nothing seems to be effectivly taking the burning pain away and it feels like someone has put acid on my anal area everyday. Is this extreme burning pain normal for fissures or piles? and can you recommend anything that can help me other than ice or frozen peas. Thanks

I read it is maimly menopausal females . If it gets bad I use strong flavoured chewing gum . I`m afraid you will have to get used to it .

when i urinate my clitoris is very sensitve but there's no burning sensation (it's not sensitive if i touch it), i also get the urge to pee frequently. i've had cystitus before, but with a burning pain instead. is this a form of cysitus? please help!

Please can anybody help? I have had a burning tongue for over 2 years now, every day, all day, it only stops when I sleep then starts again as soon as eat or drink. Drs say there is nothing they can see and can offer no solution. Now the burning seems to be travelling to the back of my throat as well. This affects my life a lot, it is very depressing.
