hi my name is jodie. i like many people on here have tubular breasts, and like most of them i to have had trouble with bra's. i have tried most things under the sun from creams, pills, padded push me up bra's and chicken fillets( the silicone ones not actual chicken). and nothing seems to really work. so being a crazy creative type of person i started making bread moulds to try and get the result i wanted. in doing this i found a bra insert shape that does work, i then made i silicone fillet to try on other people i know with the condition and it worked for them as well. so i am now looking to start a bra company for other women like me so at least the problem of finding a bra is the same for us as it is for people without the condition. what i need is lots of information and medical expertise on if there is anything i really need to know in regards to health and safty and other stuff as i don't want to let anyone down with something that can be depressing as it is, as i well know though personal experience. all feed back is welcome as to get a product out there for us that won't or can't opt for surgery is difficult without help. so please help.

One side of my labia seems to have changed. the skin feels as though it is made up of very small balls, a little like chicken skin! That is the only way I can think of describing it. Should I be worried?

When I stretch the skin between my inner and outer labias, it almost looks like chicken skin, with small bumps all over. It's always been like this, nothing painful or sore. Just curious if this is normal.

yes it is very normal, if you shave then you will be able to notice it more, but if you check and there are some which look abnormaly large, red, swollen or sore then you should get it checked out.

I feel comletely unfemine, i use a chicken fillet in one side so that it is not obvious to everyone. I am so concious of this and am always feeling down about it. I won't get undressed in front of anyone because im just too embarrased. It means that i push people away and can never have a good relationship with a guy. I really dont know what to do but it really depresses me. Is there anything i can do or have done ??

If quinoderm doesn't work try not using it. Keep drinking water and try splashing your face with cold water in the morning and before bed. Also make sure you have clean towels.

I have herpes on my buttocks and occasionally 'undercarriage'. I have had them for over 15 years now and reoccurring once, twice a month mainly with very painful neuralgia running up from my toes to my buttock. My GP says it is not sexually transmitted but like the cold sore virus. I have never had chicken pox but am on steroids which I think maybe why I get them so frequently. I have Aciclovir cream and tablets. Is there no cure or will I have this the rest of my life.

Hi Dr Harper I had chicken pox, and then had another skin disease which wasn't chicken pox but my GP said it was and gave me the wrong medications, which were medications for chicken pox. I later got the same illness again and was admitted to isolation care in hospital and then i was told by a dermatologist that it I havnt got chicken pox but a severe gianotti crosti syndrome. They treated me with a type of steroid cream and after that i havnt had this again. Howerver having this disease twice and chicken pox has left me with some horrible scares all over my body and i feel extremely embarrassed to show my skin, i dont even wear skirts and short sleeve tops that much know, because i feel that people are watching me everytime my skin is exposed. I have tried Boi Oil but the scares are still visibul and i was wondering if you have any specific cream that which will help reduce the scares, because i know that they were never go completely. So please if I would be so grateful if you will be able to recommend a cream for me so that i will feel comfortable wearing skirts and dresses again I hope to hear a reply from you. Thank you.xxx

I'm 25 and had mild chicken pox when I was 8 months old then great badly when I was a toddler. I was eight when I first had shingles on my left side of my stomach but Ive since had it 6 times in the same area on the top of my left leg I was the told that the chicken pox virus is lying dormant on my spine and when I'm stressed and run down in can reoccur but is it really that common for it to happen this often???

Heres one for you. GUTTATE PSORIASIS My partner has just been diagnosed with it, its small drop like salmon pink crusty spots, very similar looking i think to chicken pox. It is covering his body and spreading. We use the usual emolients and dead sea salts in the bath. He's on a course of varous herbal supplements to cleanse his body and skin, but thinking its too strong and would have to take them for ages before he may see a result. We have had various doctor check and have all said it will go on its own, so does our research on the internet. We have read steroid creams and antibiotcs for chest infections can help as it is thought it can come from this. Some of our research also states it can come from chicken pox, being 27 he did have chicken pox years ago, although our friends son had it, to which i think my partner may have caught but having already had the virus may have mutated into this. Who knows heh, would love anyone who may suffer with this or have an insight to it to give us any advise. thanks

Looking at the acne I can see that the spots are similar to chicken pox spots. I had chicken pox 2 months ago and still have dark spots of my legs. It upsets me that I have to be the odd one out in jeans in the hot weather when I'm out with my friends. I used to have flawless skin, I'd just really like it like that again. Will these fade? What can I do to speed it up? Is there anything I shouldn't do? How long should it take? If they won't fade or if it will take a long time is there any well recommened comouflage I could use?

Scars will fade in time. I have acne and only the pitted scars don't eventually go. If it's just darker marks they will fade in a few months.

i have the same problem as you my right breast it 2 cup sizes smaller than my left and i wear a chicken fillet on my smaller side it has done wonders for my confience and makes bras more comfortable to wear . not sure if we can mention names n stuff on here but look at siliconesally.co.uk they sell chicken fillets in a variety of different shapes and sizes so you can find the one best for you they really comfortable and discreet i would definitely recommend them

hey, im 16, 17 in september. i have had boobs for about 2 years now, and their quite small.. ive never been properly measured but i wear a B, although i do wear chicken fillets because i used to stuff my bra when i was young and if i stopped now then people will know i did it cause there would be a drastic change in the size. so i would say im a 34a normally. my boobs dont seem to be growing at all and im worried that by wearing chicken fillets for so long (about a year and a half) have i stumped the growth in them? im really afraid that when im with my boyfriend he will see them and freak! especially if he finds out i stuff my bra at this age!! help me? :(

Hey samantha. Have you tried silicone 'chicken fillets'? If you type 'bra chicken fillets' into a search engine you'll find loads to try! I've got some amazing ones which are almost the size of a whole boob! You could buy some, but only use one to pad out a bra evenly. If you're worried it might fall out, you can use some good, double sided 'toupee tape' (or tit tape, as my mates call it!), which I think even claires accesories sell, on the pad to stick it to you. I'm not sure how well it would work swimming. But, if you can sew, you could always make a larger pouch for the fillet, a bit like the ones on padded bras, that would hold it in. Sorry for the length! Hope it helps, even a bit!

hi, i understand the importance of a balanced diet, but was wondering if science and weight loss wise does it matter what you eat, as long as your daily calories are within your maintenance level every day... a crazy example would be 2000 calories worth of chicken compared to 2000 calories worth of ice cream... and disregard that the chicken would make you fuller for longer... i guess what im trying to figure is if a calorie is just a calorie no matter what!

One of my breasts is scarred afer being scalded as a child, my breasts are different sizes and one nipple is about 2 inches higher than the other. My whole life has been blighted by my breasts. I constantly have to wear chicken fillets to make the appearance look as normal as possible when I am fully dressed, I always have to be careful that I wear clothes that do not show any cleavage and swimming costumes are a big no. I would love a breast reconstruction to make me feel normal, so that I can get up in the morning and not reach for a bra a chicken fillets before going down to put the kettle on.

I believe I have OCD, but mine isn't related to cleanliness, mine is to do with eating habits, I don't believe it to be an issue, but I have been called a freak by others so I really wish I could get out of the habit. My believed OCD condition consists of when I eat I have to eat all of one food first before I can move into another, and when I do move on I cannot go back to that original food, for example, if I had chicken and chips, I would eat the chips, and when I feel like it I will move on to the chicken, but I physically cannot bring myself to go back to the chips, the thought of even doing so makes me feel sick. Also I feel nauseated when I see others mixing there food, to the extent, where they put me off my own food. I don't know how to get over it..

Hi, im 17 years old and ever since i was 12 i have noticed quite a big defferce between the size of my breast's. A year after i noticed i went to the doctors, who told me it was quite common and normal, and there was nothing anyone could do till i was 18. Ever since i've been wearing a chicken fillet in my bra on the left side, this helped my confidence slightly, although i used to get quite paranoid. Now that my right breast is a 38B the chicken fillet doesnt fill the left side of my bra, and theres room for it to move round, this makes me extremly paranoid. Im restricted to wearing certain clothes, i can't go swimming due to not being able to wear a swimming costume, there are many more way that this effects me, and it really gets me down. Do i have to wait till im 18 to have a breast enlargement, or can something be done about it now..? Please help.

have you and your bf had chicken pox yet because it could possibly be that

Hey :) I'm 30 now and had my breast implants removed.. trust me, my breasts are way more attractive now than when they were when they were a C but hard balls. I'm a AA, if that. My advice to you, if I were to go back in time... I had a friend that ate chicken regularly.. like at one or 2 meals a day, because she wanted big breasts- the rest of her family was tiny chested. She ended up with DD.. but too big for her figure in my opinion. So from my research, I would eat chicken twice a day(normal serving size or you''ll get fat and unhealthy), don't eat sugar and anything like sugar (corn syrup, fructose liquid in ingredients list or sweeteners/ substitutes) unless it's maximum 1-2 pieces of fruit per day and NO caffeine in any form... I drunk caffeine like mad since 17, ate heaps of sugary stuff that I thought was healthy (bread, muffins, cereal- which all turns to sugar in the body) and barely any protein. From my research- protein in the form of chicken, lamb and fresh salmon is good and sugar in any carbohydratey form and caffeine is bad for breast growth. And so is stress. Keep the stress levels down :) But if that doesn't work- look up stars with flat chests- google olivia palermo and kristen scott thomas and work those legs! :) Plus if you exercise regularly, that will help you stay positive and happy and look more healthy- which is always extremely attractive!

I suffered from this in my teenage years. my right cup was a G and my left a D, which made it more embarassing as everybody at school commented on the size of my breasts, saying they were jealous of their size, and i just couldnt help thinking "you have no idea what i'm hiding!" i wore chicken fillets for some years, and then got a referral to the hospital and had a fitting for a prosthesis which they often use for women who have had breast cancer and have had one removed! this was great for me as there was such a difference giving them a decent shape (i had been wearing two chicken fillets to make them even close to being the same size!). when i was 18 i had surgery on the NHS for a reduction of my right breast and it has CHANGED MY LIFE! i can heartily recommend anybody considering talking to their GP and asking for a referral, i have so much more confidence, and although they are not perfectly sized and shaped, there is only one cup size difference now, which i hardly even notice! i am now 22 and the scars have faded to almost nothing and i am full of confidence in the bedroom ;)

Hi, it's great to hear someone who has managed to get it done. I have been referred to the hospital on the 9th may with the same problem my right breast is a D cup and the left an A cup. I'm just praying they say they will do it. Can I ask what they actually did?

God, i'm so glad i came onto this site, i had no idea so many other people are suffering from this..i didn't know what was wrong with me, i just typed in "bloated intestines". I get so bloated i look pregnant. People were even giving up their seats on the train for me (so it's not all bad !)I had no idea i had IBS, as i dont get chronic pains or sickness. I've noticed recently the day after having a banana i get bloated so i've stopped eating them. Milk can also give me bad wind, so i'm going to switch to Soya. Rice or pasta also bloats me out (maybe i have a wheat&dairy intolerence huh ?) I eat Alpen in the morning (adding extra nuts & seeds to it) i have a prawn or chicken salad for lunch and fish or chicken with veg at night (no carbs), and i still get bloated. I drink a litre of water a day, i can't drink anymore than that otherwise i feel sick. So i'm stumped too. I'll take as trip to my GP and see what she says, but she is a bit rubbish, so maybe go private. I'll let you know if i find a miracle cure !
