I'm 16 and a male. I'm skinny, but I do think my ribs stick out more than they should, particularly at the bottom. Someone pointed this out recently as a joke, but now I have realised, and I can't stop noticing/thinking about it. I think its called "flared ribs" or something but I'm not sure. Also, I do seem to have a slight funnel chest. Its not massively noticeable, but I definitely think it is abnormal. I was wondering if you could give me any information, or any solutions?!
hi tom, there may be nothing wrong at all as this may be your normal body shape, but if it is worrying you that much i would advise to see a doctor - they can run tests if they think it is an issue, or else perhaps they can put your fears to rest if there is nothing to worry about. just remember that everyone is different and you should be proud to be unique.

I have the same condition:(. My doctor says it common (although I rarely see anyone else with this condition). The only way to fix it is surgery. No excersices or therapys could help. I have it to and its not affecting me in anyway except making my body look kinda weird:( I'm a boy BTW. My ribs stick out right below my nipples and the middle of my chest sticks in. Around the heart.

I had my son 6 weeks ago and have just been told the ceiling of my vagina has collapsed slightly. It sticks out slightly and I can feel it when I move about. I was told to keep doing my pelvic floor excercises and it will get better. Can I also use a pelvic toner to speed things up? Electronic or one with weights?
