I had my son 6 weeks ago and have just been told the ceiling of my vagina has collapsed slightly. It sticks out slightly and I can feel it when I move about. I was told to keep doing my pelvic floor excercises and it will get better. Can I also use a pelvic toner to speed things up? Electronic or one with weights?

I'm worried about my vagina, when I dirt ever started my period the pads use to rub against my skin, and now around my vagina( like near the top of my thighs) it looks like I have a scar, and my vagina lips look fine but just inside them, it looks like a brown ring around it, an my vagina seems quite tight? What's going on?? Am I normal?

I am 22, when I was 3 I had Lyme disease. I was paralyzed from the waist down. I remember my mother standing me up and trying to have me walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom for a bath and I just collapsed. I also remember her carrying me from the car to the hospital. I was treated. I am just wondering if having Lyme 9 years ago has anything to do with the migraines and stomach issues I have today? I have severe migraines and am also told i have gastroparesis (my stomach doesn't digest food). I also have severe pain in one side of my abdomen.

try a salt flush....google how to do it and do it for 7 days....Salt kills all sorts of things and it benefitted me after many years of discomfort and pain with my gut. I've read that salt has been successful in treating Lyme.

Hannah, If you can afford it, after such a long time since initial infection, a Naturopath could probably help. There is a specialist with a BioResonance machine that diagnoses & treats Lyme & associated symptoms who's recommended by several in a Face Book closed group: UK Lyme Disease Discussion Group. They have a massive Files Section, lots of info, support from very experienced nice people.

Yes they will be.My ex is the same. Uses sumitriptan for migraine and it works. Has trouble remembering things too. Been so I'll.

Hannah I had the exact thing happen ! Aged 7 paralysed from the waist down ! Please get in touch !

I was diagnosed with a recocele stage about 4 years ago. I asked the Consultant what would happen if I Just left it and he showed me a diagram on the Computor, the dropped bowel had collapsed more. I was really scared about having this op so put it off for a while. When I went back my Consultant had left was referred onto another Consultant. I saw her registrar who examined me and said it wasn't at stage 3 and was stage 2. I was very shocked. She said that I could have the operation anytime I wanted to when I felt I needed it. I really don't know what to do. I keep thinking what will happen if I don't have this done, in the further, when I am a lot older as I am 56 at the moment. Can you please advise me.

I have tried to put some links to help. https://womensimaging.wordpress.com/2015/04/18/for-women-2 (Please post this to your browser if clicking on it does not work). Hope this helps Sarah x

I am a 16 year old girl, and I am really worried about having sex due to the fact that I fear that I have Vaginal Prolapse. I have never been able to use tampons as it feels as if they cannot go in. I have checked to see if there is a hole, and it seems like there is a kind of 'wall' that is stopping the tampons going in. I was quite overweight when I was younger, and on top of this I had two urinary infections which caused the vaginal lips to fuse slightly, and the doctor had to rip them apart (for want of a better explanation). I am really worried that the walls have collapsed, and this has had a very negative on my self-esteem as I feel like there is something wrong with me. Do I have Vaginal Prolapse? Or is ti something I should visit my GP about, although I am scared and embarrassed?

sounds like you have a prolapse of some kind. possibly a cystocele.. but there are other types. the hole you are feeling is your cervix. you need to see your GP. there are several treatments, but you do need to get to a GP.

The second hole that everyone is telling you about is your urethral opening. It is wicked small and on the top wall of your vaginal canal very near the vaginal opening. This is where your urine exits. I assume your vaginal canal (where babies come from ;-) is the one hole you said you knew you had. Unless you knew about those two and were talking about your cervical os. This is the opening that leads to your uterus, is pretty deep inside, and is closed very tight. Hope that cleared things up.

Hello, i'm almost 17, i shave my vagina and i have been with my boyfriend for almost a year and i am scared of him seeing my vagina because my vagina looks a little like image 24 where my lips hang over a little bit but not that much, is that normal????

I have a problem and anal prolapse seems to be the closest to it. My anal passage seems to be collapsing into my vagina and it makes going to the toilet difficult as there always is some excrement trapped in the collapsed part. I have found that I can use a finger in my vagina to push the bulge backwards and this helps but is rather unpleasant to have to do! Is there any option other than surgery to resolve this?

I am 24 and had my baby Jan 2010. I was torn quite badly when giving birth and it took a while to recover. I tried to do my pelvic floor exercises as much as possible. I'm pretty sure my vagina is way too big now, I'm worried it's collapsed or something as when I have sex it's not feeling the same, it's not as tight as it used to be and I feel like I just have a gaping hole and I don't like it, and don't know what to do about it....

dont worry,it just happens that way,i am 27 and had my 2 children by time i was 21 and i feel like mine is gaping, but its just the changes we have to endure im affraid coz we did pass large things out of them and so our bits become slack,u do lose some feeling in there coz its been stretched but it should go back to normal feelings during sex, maybe try deeper positions to feel it more. hope this helps

I am in the same position as you. I am a 47 yr old working wife and mum and I have perforated my septum through nose picking. I am so ashamed of myself and scared stiff that my nose is going to collapse. How would I explain that to everyone. Every morning the first thing I do is feel to make sure my nose hasn't collapsed in the night. The thought of it makes my stomach flip like it's already collapsed I am so certain it is going to happen. It is stopping me from getting on with my life as I am now obsessing about it. I just feel sick inside about it. I would love to be able to discuss it with someone who understood and didn't judge too harshly. Have you had any luck with professional help?

I'm 22 years old and had my baby boy 6 months ago iv recently had a coil fitted but since giving birth when I'm having sex with my boyfriend it's often painful and he said to me that my vagina feels blocked ?? I have had a feel myself I too feel as though something inside me has collapsed

I'm not even pregnant and I'm having the same exact symptoms. I do oral with my boyfriend but that's It and every time It happens to me it gets somewhat swollen and heavy feeling. It always happens I'm 16. I hope nothing serious is going on. The first time it was really swollen, like the whole thing, but every time he does it now it just gets red around the vagina and semi-swollen , but this time whenever I walk or sit down I feel like I'm sitting on something or like ssomething is pushing against my opening. Please reply, anybody. :(

OK your vagina is on the inside and it's a collapsed tube which enlarges to accept a penis or to give birth. The correct name for your external parts is vulva. This includes the large lips, small lips and clitoris.

Hello, I am very concerned as I have an inability to control urine. I can stop myself from going but once I move some comes away ( enough to soak my pants. I have also felt an uncomfortable feeling like a tampon coming out so I checked. I have a large bulge inside my vagina on my left side, big enough to stop access of my fingers to check further. I am really worried if this requires an operation and also what has collapsed. Any reply would be fantastic, thank you, Julie

I am 32 and have had 4 children. A year ago I fractured my coccyx during a fall. Since around that time I have noticed that my bladder control is getting worse. Although this is not helped by the fact that I have had several foot surgeries and suffer from ME. I also get migraines and IBS and suffer from certain food intolerances. I have had previous cauterisation of my cervix which grows outside of my womb. NOW I have a very heavy feeling in my vagina, soreness and when sat up or walking I have protruding out of my vagina. I saw my gp who said she thinks I need further cauterisation and that it is my vaginal walls that have collapsed! She said the hospital would do a nip and a tuck!?!(That should please my husband as I have been doing my pelvic floor exercises but lately have felt very loose). I read on an earlier blog that the coccyx injury seems to play a part in it, can anyone tell me more?? Also has anyone had this "nip and tuck" done? Can you tell me what was involved, how long u stayed in hospital? Any info greatly appreciated!

I am 29, female and have been diagnosed with IBS, although I feel it is more than that. I have all the usual IBS symptoms but this morning was a classic example of why I think there's something seriously wrong with me. I woke up at 3.45am for work and felt that diahorrea pain in my gut, ran to the toilet and nothing. Then severe sharp stabbing pains up my vagina and rectum like I was being knifed to the point I was buckled over and screaming in agony! I know part of this was wind and stool movement but I get it too often now and sex hurts sometimes and I feel as if something is bulging down from my uterus, like maybe my intestines have collapsed and created a pocket just above my rectum and is filling up creating the pain and lump feeling. I have told my doctors this but still I get IBS drugs and pain killers. Anyone else have similar experiences? Plz help. Thanx.

Hi I wanted to tell you that I have had 4 opps and it created a1 cm by 2 cm perforation in the nose, my nose collapsed at the front after 3 months. I have just came back from LA where I have had the surgery to try and fix this problem, if you need help just let me know and I will try and help you

I have 1 collapsed nipple, I call it that because it does come out when I am cold! I hate it and every new relationship I dread, I have been aware of it since I was about 16 and it has never changed. I am now considering surgery because I just want to be more confident with boyfriends. Has anyone had the surgery and would you recommend it?

If you are collapsing with your periods i would go to your gp. Having heavy periods is normal i get them myself but you may also be suffering with anemima (low iron) which would cause heavy bleeding and fainting. A quick blood test will tell you what is going on and can be managed with iron tablets.

I am 26 and I am really getting depressed about my skin, I was 12 stone 9 and have gone to 10.8... My main problem was having large babies..
