Conditions with symptom: 'collapsed vagina'
I had my son 6 weeks ago and have just been told the ceiling of my vagina has collapsed slightly. It sticks out slightly and I can feel it when I move about. I was told to keep doing my pelvic floor excercises and it will get better. Can I also use a pelvic toner to speed things up? Electronic or one with weights?
Hi i have had 3 large babies all 9lbs or over, my baby is now 3 months old, i have a collapsed stomach as a result of this. I saw my gp but he says theres nothing that can be done on the nhs. i cant afford to pay for the operation myself.i look permantly pregnant all the time its really getting me down i cry alot.
I'm worried about my vagina, when I dirt ever started my period the pads use to rub against my skin, and now around my vagina( like near the top of my thighs) it looks like I have a scar, and my vagina lips look fine but just inside them, it looks like a brown ring around it, an my vagina seems quite tight? What's going on?? Am I normal?
I am 22, when I was 3 I had Lyme disease. I was paralyzed from the waist down. I remember my mother standing me up and trying to have me walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom for a bath and I just collapsed. I also remember her carrying me from the car to the hospital. I was treated. I am just wondering if having Lyme 9 years ago has anything to do with the migraines and stomach issues I have today? I have severe migraines and am also told i have gastroparesis (my stomach doesn't digest food). I also have severe pain in one side of my abdomen.
try a salt flush....google how to do it and do it for 7 days....Salt kills all sorts of things and it benefitted me after many years of discomfort and pain with my gut. I've read that salt has been successful in treating Lyme.
Hannah, If you can afford it, after such a long time since initial infection, a Naturopath could probably help. There is a specialist with a BioResonance machine that diagnoses & treats Lyme & associated symptoms who's recommended by several in a Face Book closed group: UK Lyme Disease Discussion Group. They have a massive Files Section, lots of info, support from very experienced nice people.
Yes they will be.My ex is the same. Uses sumitriptan for migraine and it works. Has trouble remembering things too. Been so I'll.
Hannah I had the exact thing happen ! Aged 7 paralysed from the waist down ! Please get in touch !
I was diagnosed with a recocele stage about 4 years ago. I asked the Consultant what would happen if I Just left it and he showed me a diagram on the Computor, the dropped bowel had collapsed more. I was really scared about having this op so put it off for a while. When I went back my Consultant had left was referred onto another Consultant. I saw her registrar who examined me and said it wasn't at stage 3 and was stage 2. I was very shocked. She said that I could have the operation anytime I wanted to when I felt I needed it. I really don't know what to do. I keep thinking what will happen if I don't have this done, in the further, when I am a lot older as I am 56 at the moment. Can you please advise me.
I have tried to put some links to help. https://womensimaging.wordpress.com/2015/04/18/for-women-2 (Please post this to your browser if clicking on it does not work). Hope this helps Sarah x
I am a 16 year old girl, and I am really worried about having sex due to the fact that I fear that I have Vaginal Prolapse. I have never been able to use tampons as it feels as if they cannot go in. I have checked to see if there is a hole, and it seems like there is a kind of 'wall' that is stopping the tampons going in. I was quite overweight when I was younger, and on top of this I had two urinary infections which caused the vaginal lips to fuse slightly, and the doctor had to rip them apart (for want of a better explanation). I am really worried that the walls have collapsed, and this has had a very negative on my self-esteem as I feel like there is something wrong with me. Do I have Vaginal Prolapse? Or is ti something I should visit my GP about, although I am scared and embarrassed?
i think i have vaginal prolapse i can feel the inside of my vaginal entrance and it seems to have caused a bulge in this area and its uncomtable i am 53 years old and have had an hysteracomy so i hope this is not a bad issue
I am 15 years old and I had my first ever period when I was 11 and it was really light. Then when I was 13 I had loads of nose bleeds and I also started my period it was really painful also my period was very heavy. That lasted 21 days. But I thought it was normal then 10 days later I got my period again and I became dead weak, kept having nose bleeds and fainting. I went to school and I collapsed,, so I had to go to the hospital they kept me in because I hemeraged. But my period are irregular, the pain awful , they last so long, and Ive tried the contraceptive pill which regulated it , didn't help with the pain and also made me go from a b cup to a DD cup in a year also from a size 6 to a 14!! So I came off that!!! What shud I do??? HELP PLEASE
The pill did not help me however ask your docter about the contreceptive injection as that is what I am on now and I hardly get a period anymore and when I do it is really light and I hardly feel any pain anymore x

I Have been researching and i cant find any pictures of the inside of the vigina to know if its normal or not. What Is This Thing inside my vagina????? Is it normal? How do u fix it? wht is it? I Am desparate for help... .
sounds like you have a prolapse of some kind. possibly a cystocele.. but there are other types. the hole you are feeling is your cervix. you need to see your GP. there are several treatments, but you do need to get to a GP.
hi im 16, i dont know weather my vagina is normal, the inside of my vagina, well everyone says that your ment to have 2 holes, but i only have 1 i think, im not sure. im just really worried about this. id just like to know about the insides of the vagina please
The second hole that everyone is telling you about is your urethral opening. It is wicked small and on the top wall of your vaginal canal very near the vaginal opening. This is where your urine exits. I assume your vaginal canal (where babies come from ;-) is the one hole you said you knew you had. Unless you knew about those two and were talking about your cervical os. This is the opening that leads to your uterus, is pretty deep inside, and is closed very tight. Hope that cleared things up.
