I'm an 18 year old girl and after years of confusion and questions i feel i should ask my question, my urethra is just inside the opening of my vagina and is BELOW my vagina, not in between my clitoris and vagina opening, i realise that this isn't the normal placement and i wonder if this is at all abnormal or dangerous? Help!

Sorry, but in re-reading what I wrote, I see I wrote the wrong thing for #4. What I meant to write was "pin-hole phimosis." Sorry for the confusion.

Please note - loose stools are not Type 1 or 2. To avoid confusion if you go to your doctor or hospital, Type 1 and 2 are very hard and broken up. It is Type 6 that is almost liquid with a few lumps and Type 7 that is like passing brown water.

If you're too embarrassed about any of these problems go to the local contraception clinic or nhs drop-in - I go to my local one every time I have an issue with my coil or get cystitis. I have always found the nurses to be helpful. Ellie - check back with your Dr about what kind of pill you're on and get some information leaflets on it - it will hopefully help your confusion.

I've just taken this test in some confusion in my life. I was always branded different to otheres growing up and still am and find it very difficult to function properly in new sistuations and events. Places with loads of people normally freak me out to where I either become withdrawn or I protest to leave. I'm 27 and I have never gone to a shoppy occuping more than two people or ever done the weekly shop alone. My score was 31 on the test. And now I still feel bemused.

I believe that clear impartial advice on the medicines such as Finisteride in relation to hair transplant (FUE) would be extremely useful There is so much confusion and mis information regarding the requirements of these medications, some say you have to take them or the FUE will fail, others state that it is simply to prevent other areas of hair loss around the transplanted folicles that is the reason for taking it. Given the potential side effects I assume most would not rather takemedications if at all possible -but without impartial independent medical statement all such information seems divided, especially from those who's interest lies n its prescription / sale.

Most interesting to see the programme highliting Behcet's Syndrome. So often Behcet's is confused with other autoimmune diseases, AKA AS (ankylosing Spondylitis). A large problem with this confusion in DX is, that medications, Autoimmune-supressents (DEMARDS & anti-TNFs) can cause Lupus disease - has happened. Behcet's is difficult to DX (diagnose), even in the hands of an experienced rheumatologist...the 'Silken Road' does not usually pass at the end of the suburban driveway! Good programme. Thanks. However, I was very glad to see this condition being highlitd - congratulations.

That comment is incorrect. Verucas are the result of a VIRUS, specifically HPV (human papilloma virus). The reason the HPV vaccination will not necessarily help is because it is only vaccinating against a couple of specific strains related to cervical cancer. It is still possible to get herpes, cold sores and verrucas even if you have had the HPV vaccine. It will only reduce you risk of cervical cancer as well, so it is still important to continue with regular PAP tests. Fungal treatments will do nothing. Athletes foot and tinea are fungal which is where the confusion arises.

Thanks for your response to my eczema query. Ok think there has been some slight confusion. My Dermo and doctor have not said it is caused to a food allergy, it is me that thinks it is and would like an allergy test to prove this but so far all the specialists/GP wants to do is give prescribing steriod and emol creams which only treat the syptoms not the cause. I would like to know for sure if this is due to a food allergy so that I can eliminate this food source to hopefully improve my overall health. I do not mind if I have to pay for the test but would just like some answerrs, rather than just keep being given things for the symptoms. I just feel that no one wants to help and my GP just don;t want to find out and have to spend the money. Thanks again for the response.

I had an operation just over a week ago to remove a pilodinal sinus. When I went in I was under the impression that I would be having a general anaesthetic but then they decided to give me an epidural instead; I was also told that they would be leaving the wound open and packing it, and so you can imagine my suprise when I was told afterwards that I'd had it sewn up instead! In fact, all 3 of the district nurses that I've seen since have been surprised - the first said she'd never seen anything like it, as on top of the stitches they'd put a piece of gauze (between the cheeks, not in the wound as some kind of drain) and over that they put 2 stiches to keep it in place. The nurse I saw yesterday confirmed my confusion by saying that, in all her many years experience, she'd never seen one not left open. Should I be worried and has anybody ever heard of this kind of treatment before?

hello, sounds rather painfull:( i had my pilonidal sinus removed 2 week ago doc said it would be an open wound an needed to be packed but afterward i discovered they stitched it closed but without this gauze u mention, doc told me on off chance it would heal as closed wound(less recovery time) but unfortunately mine got badly infected(v painful) 1 week in and had to go back to hosp 4 it to be opened up which was an absolute relief ha.i presume this gauze will do its best to keep infection out which seems a good idea just make sure u stay super duper clean to prevent infection and eat very healthy,i hope u do well an wish you the best of luck:)sorry cant be more of a help.

Don't think that you're too young. I started with symptoms from a very early age. Pain started at 14 and I was diagnosed when I'd just turned 16. I'm 23 now and have excruciating pain. I had such a bad flare I had to stop my university studies for year under doctors guidance to help things settle down when I was 20. I now have many other conditions as well which are related to ic. Please, if you feel pain go to the doctor. Keep telling them. If one doesn't listen go to a different dr. One consultant (not a urologist) said that pain isn't a normal thing in the body. In fact it's our bodies way of telling us something isn't right. You are the only one that knows you're body. Be confident in yourself. Once you have a diagnosis it can almost make you feel better as all that frustration and confusion is taken away. Then you can get the right treatment. Good luck and I hope you get answers.

Hi, im 23 and have had this condition since i was a kid i have not grown out of it and it isnt showing any signs of going away, i can rule out stress which is something no child has so i dont know why the two collide, it can range from me picking things up and moving them, talking or shouting, seeing things in my room then physically sprinting out of my room, usually people or spiders, i am pretty aware of my surroundings and even try to point things out to people that i think are there when there not, its very rare that i cant remember whats happened, and i wake up with my heart racing and breathing heavily which i guess is shock and confusion, my sleep pattern is regular but often broken (im a fidget) this happens at least 5-6 times a week, some episodes worse then others, has anyone been to there doctor with this or know of any way to calm it down Thanks
