I'm 18 and I've always had flat nipples and the actual nipple has always been cracked and crusty, they come out slightly with stimulation but don't stay out and I've not found a cream to stop them from being cracked. is there a cream or something I could try to stop them being cracked?

My feet are a nightmare. They sweat. they smell and they rot my footwear. In the morning they are glossy and hard, after about 30 minutes in my footwear they go white, i have pits, can scape bits off them. feel like they are rotting. smell. cracked, and are painful My occupation does not let me rest them, and i tend to stand on them 18 hours a day. new insoles did help, for a short while, but they soon deteriorated, and in affective. I find buying footwear hard, as basically, i hardly leave where i work/ live, and i have wide feet, so getting good foot wear is always a problem, as it tends to be my wife who gets them for me

Hi I.m 30 and have had a breast enlargement. Everything went well it was done 5 months ago. Over the last month or so my nipples have become really dry and flaky they feel all cracked, I still have no sensation since my op I know this can be normal. There is no pain really just a slight ache very rarely. Is this normal for them to be so cracked and dry?

Since I have started the menopause 2 years ago (I now no longer have periods, just hot flushes) I have found sex with my partner extremely painful. It doesn't hurt inside, it just stings outside around the entrance to my vagina almost as if the skin is going to tear and feels a bit like when you have cracked lips - it's it's fine until you stretch the area and then it splits slightly and starts to bleed. It's not dry like cracked lips though. i've tried lubrication but it doesn't help. My partner is being very understanding but I am getting very frustrated and upset.

I too have had this problem and much stinging after sex. I found that using a lubricant made it less uncomfortable, there's one you can get that lasts a few days from one application which is better than having to interrupt proceedings. But I think it would be best to see your GP about bleeding, just to reassure yourself that the problem is delicate skin. Hope this helps.

THAT HAPPENS 2 ME I HAD EM I STILL DO JUST GIVE THEM TIME THEY WILL GOO AWAY BE PACTION

Hello, Firstly, I have hyper-mobility and flat feet, my skeleton is also flexible/hyper mobile. I have had a problem with my right foot for approx. 4-years with a bulging lump. I was diagnosed after a biopsy in 2010 as having PVNS which is very aggressive non-melignant tumour. The biopsy has left me with nerve damage in my right foot. Since the operation mid-2010 more PVNS growth has wrapt around my right-ankle - causing me further discomfort, pain and disability. Approx 2-weeks ago I was given nuclear injections called Yattrium injections in my right foot but prior to the injections I have felt itchy and irritablility above my ankle at the bottom of my right-leg. Are the tumours growing up my leg? MRI scans prior to the biopsy showed that I have PVNS tumours and bone errotion below my right-ankle bone. Is this due to have long-term tumours I think they have been growing for years prior to detection? Will my foot fully recover due to nerve damage and bone errotion or will it get worse? Example; could the bone errotion develope onto something else? I have looked on the web and Pigmented Viono Nodular Synovitis is common in the knee and re-growth is a hight percentage - what's the percentage for feet? Also, PVNS in the foot is it more concerning due to more nerves etc being in the foot? Also, my knee on the opposite leg (left) has been causing me problems now due to my right leg not being able to fully support my frame. Overall, I am trying to get myself mobile again as I am a police officer is it likely that I will be able to fulfill my role as a PC again following my foot problems?

I have incredably smelly feet, the smell is like rotten cheese or dog poo. my socks get very sweaty and wet even after a hour, after taking them off they become very stiff. My feet constantly smell and sweat whatever I put on my feet. Noteven washing them stops the smell. The soles of my feet sometimes look as if the skin is rotting away and are white in colour. I have been to the doctors and also asked the chemists who have given me various treatments which have not worked.

These doctors you go to are they just GP's?????.. As this sounds like you should be seeing a specialists of some sort...and pending what type of pain it is, muscline, joints, tight skin,???? will give you the direction of what specialist is needed to be consulted..?? Redness? blood circulation?? You seem to have the discoloration in hands and feet, but pain only in feet?? You are only 26, and cannot be the only one with this condition.. Pursue it further, either change your GP or if not done prior be consulting specialists. When you rest your feet, do try placing them in warm water with salt, this may take the throbbing, heaviness, pain away, similar to tight skin and bunion complaints.???. and also maybe look at a something like Nurophen plus for pain releif also???.. Speak to Pharmacist and GP for releif methods/medication then a specialist to find the cause.

I always seem to suffer with having extremely cold feet, more so than my hands. My sister was diagnosed with Raynaud's syndrome (mainly in her feet) and was wondering if this could possibly be the case with me too. I don't have problems with discoloring in my feet - unlike my sister but is it common to run in the family? My other sister also has problems with cold feet too. Please could anyone give any advice or help with this?

Can you help me please? I have really horrible feet. My toes are very long, my 2nd toe is bigger than the first and my 3rd is even bigger than the 2nd. I'm a 25 year old woman and never ever show my feet in public. I find that my feet pain when wearing shoes as my toes do not form the right shape for them. It's horrendous in summer as it is so hot and I have to wear shoes that cover my feet completely. Is there anything that can be done? Can this be corrected so my toes are the normal size?

Im not sure if what i have is athletes foot ... my feet aren't itchy, there's no cracked skin or anything but they do give off a terrible odour, even my family and friends cant stand it. i also tend to get alot of hard skin which i constantly battle with, tiring routines of cream and filing haven't helped. i've always kept my feet very clean like the rest of my body and i dont really know what else to do? i would feel a little stupid going to the doctor and saying i have smelly feet ... but the smell really is quite unpleasent! :(

I suffer from pustular psoriasis which affect mainly my hands and feet but can affect other areas too such as head, ears and pubic area. It is very painful and when it is at it's worse I can only walk on tiptoes on the ball of my big toe. It does come in flare ups and I can have times where I am free of it completely but my feet are affected at the moment. It starts with little pus filled blisters which then pop and dry out.the blisters all join together and once all popped leave thick, flaky, painful, cracked skin. I just plaster coal tar or other moistening creams on and then overnight put my hands and feet in plastic bags to keep the areas moist as if they dry out it makes using my hands and feet impossible. When I was 17 I had UVB treatment but it doped not help me at all

Like you all I have it PPP - mine is on soles of feet, awful, so painful, tried everything, don't want mexo as rarely meet anyone who gets better on it. Docs have no idea about cause of our disease. I can't go in water without feet peeling and hurting. Sun and water do nothing in my case, although I have not yet tried the Dead sea. . I have had it on and off for 20 years; last 7 years constant. Steroid tabs short term gave relief- but it flared when I went off them. Ciclosporin did nothing. I am about to give up, too. What IS this disease??? I can't work, can't walk my dogs without pain, can't get benefits! Even walking around the house HURTS. I'm sitting here now, with feet up, dry cracked blistered and bleeding. HELP!

I have what seems to be PPP on both my soles of the feet, nothing on my hands. My right foot is so much worse than the left. The bottom of my feet get so dry, cracked to the point of bleeding and the skin will peel away.I have been to the dermotologist and he has tried me on all most every cream out there. The one that seemed to be helping gave me a severe rash all over my foot and up my leg so needless to say that discontinues that medicine. There has to be something out there that can help this. I am in such pain that there are days I just can't walk and I need to go to work. Can anyone suggest something that may help. I am 57 have been suffering for the past 6 years and every years seems to get worse. Help.

I have suffered with foot psoriasis for around 3 years now, and saw a specialist at a private consultation Birmingham. Basically, whenever the feet start to harden / crack, he suggested the following regime:- - Apply Dermovate (strongest) CREAM (not ointment) to feet at night and occlude (wrap) in cling film with a pair of socks over the top. Repeat this nightly for 1 week or until feet start to improve. - After this initial high-strength 'blast', the feet can continue to be treated with lesser strength Betnovate (mid strength) or Eumovate (lower strength) creams, again with cling film occlusion at night if preferred, as this greatly intensifies the effectiveness of the steroid. When feet are recovered, and new skin has replaced the old hard/cracked skin, the steeroid creams can be replaced with a regime of foot care including regular moisurising to prevent the return of hard skin and potential future splitting / cracking. I had psoriais between my toes too, which at first I thought was athlete's foot, but when this didn't repond to AF treatments, the specialist confirmed that it was psorisis between the toes as well as the underside of the ball of my foot, which had hardened and cracked in several places. If you can get these creams off your GP, this regime really does work, though I know some can be funny about issuing Dermovate as it's apparently quite strong. I don't suffer with it on my hands, but a similar regime with cling film and gloves overnight would work too I guess.

Hi, I'm 28 and for the past year and a half have had what i describe as a skin condition on my hands and feet. it started on my hands when i handled dusty boxes at work and got progressively worse! it started off as dry skin then got very sore and cracked and bled when i used my hands. now it has spread to my feet and practically all of the skin on my heel has come off and it oozes pus and blisters. I hate going out in public coz i'm so ashamed of it. my right foot has gotten so bad that sometimes i can't even walk on it.

Hello I am 17 and have the same problems, except the oozing. I went to my GP and the gave me an anti-histamene called cetirizine hydrochloride, you take one daily, and treat the irratated areas with a steroid cream, keep it up regularly and it clears up without you realising. Try and stay away from chemical substances.

i am 15 and for about 4 years i have had strangely cracked nipples with small amounts of dried yellow stuff inside it which is also cracked, i have not yet had sex but i am worried that it would be a shock to the lad if he thought i was weird for it. What should i do?

hi shug i had the same as you and also had the light treatment i found the only thing to ever work on me was a ointment called diprosalic iontment it is a steroid based oitment but it realy is the best you will me better in no time i have had everything you could possiably think of but it was the only thing ever to work it also is good for elbows and other hard wearing places

To aj and anyone else with sweating on your hands, feet or armpits, GO HAVE SOMETHING DONE ABOUT IT. Ask to see your GP and get them to refer you to a dermatologist NOW. I have suffered from palmer hyperhidrosis since I can remember (Mine is so bad that my hands don't just feel wet, they look like I've dipped them in water. The skin on my hands is permanently wrinkled, just like if you put your hands in water ALL day long. My feet had been infected with what is basically athletes foot, all over my feet. There so cracked and bad that I've never worn flip flops.) I have now had iontophroesis. I haven't sweat on my hands or feet for 4 weeks now. It's quite a hard slog as it's 7 treatments in 4 weeks, but then after that you can buy your own machine. It's not scary as you can stop your treatment at absolutely any time, during the treatment, after session 4, whenever. I've tried every single powder, cream and drug on the market and it never worked. (If this didn't work I would have to have my nerves cut. However I am a very extreme case) But iontophroesis worked and my nurse said it has had a 100% success rate so far in her clinic. There are way more treatments than you think to deal with the problem and I would suggest to anyone to go and see a dermatologist. They have seen it all before and there NOT bothered by it.
