I just found out my neck and back pain is because I have a curved spine. It's curved at the lower back so it's not noticeable but the pain is constant. I was seeing a chiropractor but my friends are saying I should be seeing a physio not a chiropractor. Can you tell me what's my best option.

hi. i'm 28 years old. I have a bit curved penis since I was 20. Its curved from base of penis and the penis is also a bit curvy. I cannot try different sexual positions like women on top and others because my penis cannot be that much hard and it bends. What can I do to make it normal? Thank you.

One of the causes of curvature of the penis is a build-up of plaque under the skin. This can be removed surgically, but one of the problems with this approach is that it doesn't address the problem of the plaque build-up in the first place. In other words, you will have a nice straight penis for a while, but then as the plaque begins to build-up again, it will slowly begin to curve again. If you choose to have this surgically corrected (and confirm that plaque build-up is the cause in your particular case), be sure to also discuss the long-term outlook. I'm sure you won't want to be having this surgery every couple of years for the rest of your sexually active life.

My finger nails have gone from being strong, dull shine, slightly curved nails(when looking at finger tips with nails on top) to nails which are very soft and breakable, very shiny at the ends and curved so much that they look as though they have been pinched by pliers. My diet has not changed and there is nothing significant, as far as I can recall, that would cause this. . . .please help. Carla.

A small curve in penis is normal everyone's is different Trust me. Unless you can't have sex or in pain don't worry we can't all look like a pornstar. If u still think u may have peneroyes see your gp but it will probably be a natural curve that most men have.

i'm 16 years old, and female. i have suffered from a bad back for about 4 years since i fell off a fence, i was sent to a back specialist to see what is wrong, they found out my back is bent but like a wiggle shape, not a C or S shape. and you can only tell i have curve spine on x ray as there no sign on my back as spine looks normal. also on my right side my spine and hip have joined, i been told drs cant operate as there more likely to damage my back more, is there anything i can do to help the pain or stop it getting worse? also is there a name for my back condition, as i been told its abnormal and not given a name ? plus i been told i was born with this condition.

If your penis is just slightly curved this is perfectly normal, as some of the pictures on the penis gallery show! However if you are still worried, or if it is causing you any pain what-so-ever, go to your GP or local "family planning" clinic. Generally if the penis can be slightly "made" to point straight with your hand while erect, it is natural - as are some slightly curved penises. Also do remember a curved penis does not always require treatment regardless of its nature of it is simple slightly bent!

Daniel, as you will hear many times from many people who visit this site, curvature of the penis is perfectly normal. My own curves slightly to the right and up!

I have got a curved spine been for x-rays and an MRI scan to see weather anything is happening to my spine.. Because I have only noticed that it has been like this in the past 2years... The spin specialist said it was under 20percent curved...It's not stopping me from doing anything for example going to the gym or going on my motorbikes.. It's only noticeable when I bend over any touch my toes. If I am standing up straight I haven't got uneven shoulders or hips.. Just got a bit worried when I seen the girl on episode 7 having surgery.

Hi, i have just been diagnosed with a tilted uterus (i am 35 and don't have any children)and i have the exact same issue with the base of my spine aswell - i have always wondered why i had a curved 'bump' towards the end of my spine and now it all makes sense... I too struggle with certain positions during sex and find it too uncomfortable to be ontop.

I am married with 2 grown up daughters. I have always been flat chested but because I have a curved spine, I am a 38A ! You can get "A" cups up to 36 A but really difficult to get 38 A. They assume if you are 38 then you must have a bigger bust. I have always been upset with my "2 fried eggs" but learnt to live with the fact. My curved spine has been more difficult to live with as was called "Hunchback" at school. I am now 66 years old and the only problem I had with being flat chested was that I could not breast feed my daughters. I tried hard. It was expected 36 years ago. I even tried a breast pump but nothing was there so had to bottle feed which was not acceptable in those days! Apart from that, you just learn to accept that health is far more important than looks. Worrying about it is very short lived. I promise. You just learn to accept yourself. Everyone would change something about themselves if it was possible! Best advice is to just accept it and get on with your life.

I'm 19 and I have had uneven breasts for ever. I did find out that it is due to scoliosis which means my spine is curved (about 15%) and alond with that my spine actually twists causing one breast to be significantly larger than the other. Along with making one leg about 1.5" longer than the other. I am a curvy girl and I'm fine with that but my breasts are a huge issue. I am happily engaged and my fiancé loves my body, all of it, but I can't seem to love that part of me because it is so noticeable in all of my shirts that I just want them to be "normal" is there anyone that could help? Obviously being so young I don't have $$$$ for surgery.

I don't know if there's a surgery to correct that but I wouldn't worry about it. A curved penis is a good thing! Have you seen curved sex toys? There is a reason for them. A curved penis hits the G spot perfectly! Since your's bends down your partner would do well in the backward cowgirl position. You're fine, don't change anything!

I'm 15 and I had surgery to straighten my spine from scoulious at 13 the surgery Was sucesfull but they couldn't strighting it fully as it was to badly curved to go straight my rib sticks out forward on the left and my hip to. If u strongly feel u want the surgery go ahead it will take about 12 months for the rods to get the spine to fuse straight also if it is causing you pain see your gp I can't twist around of bend my back like I use to now tho. If you have no pain in it and have a busy life you are better not having the surgery but if u feel strongly about how you look due to you scoilious go ahead this is just my advice hope it helps :)

My ex-boyfriend had a curved penis and it gave me multiple g-spot orgasms every time. It was amazing. I wish all men had curved penises!

I've just been to see my GP and told him i'd watched embarrassing bodies about scoliosis and that looked it up on the internet and found something similiar called kyphosis which is curvature at the top of the spine. i told him i thought thats what i had so he examined and thinks the same, he's referred me a x-ray to confirm it which i'm having tomorrow. he says i will have to have physiotherpay which reading some of the comments on here i can't see it doing much difference its still not going to alter the fact that my spines curved and no physio is going to straighten it out.

Hi Lesley, Physio is not a cure but it's pain management. The pain caused by scoliosis and kyphosis is muscular not structural (bones), and so physio helps to strengthen and stretch the aggrieved muscles. Some other things you could try for pain relief are: Swimming Pilates/Yoga Strength training for your back and core muscles Getting a memory foam mattress/topper/pillow and using posture aids I was diagnosed with both scoliosis and moderate kyphosis at 16, and these are the things that help me. I also take prescription pain killers for bad days. Kate

No, it will not affect your sex life unless it has an extreme curvature. Megan, you obviously have no idea where the g-spot is, nor been with a man who has a curved penis. Being curved to the side is not going to make it any more, or less, pleasurable than a straight penis!

i am now 31 and my mum told me that when i was 2 i had fatty tissue removed from my spine. in the last 12/18 months ive had bad back pain. my mum told me to ask my gp if it was anything to do with with the operation i had when i was younger. i found out it was a spinal lipoma that was partially removed. They recently sent me for an mri scan and they said i have a lipoma in/on my spine, part of my spine is pressing in and i have a bulge at the base of my spine. i have a red birth mark, the dimple and a bit of hair growth and i have suffered for years with incontinence. i have been looking on the internet and all these symptoms relate to spina bifida but no one has ever mentioned it???? i have also had 4 healthy children and i did take folic acid during all pregnancys.

I have seen a bowel and back specialist telling me my condition is not possible... My back goes into spasm... I end up with a curved spine from right to left to right again.Breaking wind or going to the toilet relieve it somewhat but not entirely, on a bad day i cant even put my own underwear on, i have noticed bread is a primary trigger, so i dont eat it. I can often go up to five times in a day with normal consistency stools, i dont have constipation or the other way, they all float. The pain originates on my right hand side about the height of my bottom rib at the back of my body, it is ruining my life... Please help!

Hi i noticed my left rib cage protruded forward a few years ago and as i got older i became very embarrassed of it. I decided to find out what it was so having spoken to several doctors (who were pretty useless as they completely ignored my basic symptoms wasting a year of my life) i was given an x-ray. When my doctors saw the results they realised that it wasn't my rib that was the issue but my spine. My condition is called scoliosis. I imagine this is what you all have as well. Scoliosis is where for some unknown reason (usually) your spine has curved to the side causing your shoulders and hips to be unlevelled and for your ribs to rotate. Lean over and ask someone to look at your spine if they can see a curve you will defiantly want to go and see your doctor to find out what the best solution for you is. scoliosis is 1 in 100 people which i know doesn't sound much but is actually quite common. For example there are about 100 kids or son in an average secondary school year. In my year i have actually met someone else with the same condition. I have a fairly severe degree (curve) but not one which is overly exaggerated. I am due to have an operation this summer as my scoliosis is only going to get worse. You might want to brace yourself for the facts that scoliosis is irreversible however if you are young then you can probably have it braced to stop it from getting worse. Some people take up forms of physiotherapy. Unfortunately this doesn't work for many and it hasn't been proved scientifically to actually work but its worth giving it a shot! I hope this has helped and I'm sorry if you do have this condition but hey things could be worse! When i discovered that i had this condition it hit me like a brick but after a while a realised i had to get over myself and accept that i had this deformity. I hope this was helpful and the best of luck to you!

I'm 53, have scoliosis and kyphosis which has become a lot more noticeable in the last few years, with my left shoulder much higher and bulkier, but my main problem is pain. I started to have excruciating pain in my chest about 15 years ago, which came on quite fast and lower back pain that started years later than my chest pain. I was given strong opiates for my chest pain, which I became dependant on, went to a detox clinic and basically started again so the painkillers work again. My pain specialist basically told me that scoliosis doesn't cause severe pain and strongly implied that I was faking it! I felt one inch tall. I got another pain doctor but he's told me he will never increase my pain meds, so what do I do when they stop working or lasting the 12hrs like before? I've become seriously depressed and anxious. I don't actually know what is causing my chest pain, lots of doctors have implied I'm imagining it but without painkillers I'm in total agony. Where do I turn? Susie

Hi, I'm 19 nearly 20 and I've always had a problem with my breasts. When I was 13 I found out I had scoliosis (a curved spine) I had a double curve going left at the top and right at the bottom. So like an S. This caused my left breast to be significantly larger than my right and at a different height. I used to have bad posture due to it. And my right breast has basically never developed. It's like gravity has just pulled y left breast down cos that's how my shoulders fell and my rips stuck out on that side too. I had corrective surgery for my spine at 15 and thought my breasts would develop and change now that my spines straight. But they stopped developing. The problem is that although it has always bothered me I sort of got over it. There's nothing I could do I'm a nursing student and have no money for cosmetic surgery. But the the day my sister saw y breasts after is showered and was like 'woah your boobs are really lopsided you should do something it's weird' now I feel I can't take my bra off in bed with my boyfriend. Cos if my own sister can say that then everyone else must be thinking it. It's noticble through clothes aswell. But really before now I've always said i'll get a boob job when I'm older. But let's be honest i'll be working for the NHS i'll never be able to afford it. And I don't want to be lopsided any more. I'm 6foot 3 and already have people staring at me for that I'm 70kg and feel that I can't put on weight cos it never goes to my boobs and they remain small and make me look fatter. I just don't know what to do.

Just take off your bra when you're with your boyfriend. Im younger than you, Im still a teenager and ive always hated my breasts. I justfeel like they're deformed, like nature hates me. My younger sister believes that my breasts are weird, and so believe some of my friends. Although their comments hurt me more than they could ever imagine, I know they're just teasing me for fun. Besides, they've also said that they don't consider my breasts as a problem and they believe I have a nice body. Despite all that, ive always been suffering. BUT I always take my bra off when having sex with my boyfriend. I don't even feel embarrassed when doing so. I know that he loves me for who I am and wants me for my body as it is. In fact, that makes me feel better about myself. Im sure that your boyfriend loves you for who you are as well, and trust me, you will feel much better about your own body if you feel comfortable with him. So don't hold back next time :) ps, what your sister said was simply unacceptable. Istead of blaming your body, try blaming her for saying something so harsh just like that, without thinking how that would have made you feel.

hi am 14 and i got a 7nch dick but its curved to the left alot when i have a full erection i wanted to know if its normal to have a curved dick which i dont like and i find it very embarrassing and is getting in the way of my sexual life. Some curvature is normal, but EXTREME curvature can be a problem. You say that your curvature is getting in the way of your sex life. Is it causing you pain? Is it causing your partner pain? Exactly how is is "getting in the way?" As for shaving your pubic hair, it sounds like you may have given yourself "razor burn," which means you've irritated your skin. It should go away after a few days.

There was another young man I counseled on the bend in his penis. His was more of a bend than a curve. In a photo of his erect penis, we were able to measure the bending and determined it bent by 30 degrees. Like you, he was afraid to insert because of the potential pain to his partner, but I recommended they try insertion very slowly and gently to see if either one experienced pain. He reported back to me afterwards that they did not. I would suggest the same to you. Try insertion slowly and gently. If either of you experience pain, then stop. As for his penis size, he measured 6.25 inches, so that is one variable we need to consider. Your extra length instead of the curvature may be the pain factor.

I am 23 and my boobs seem to have stopped growing at a 38JJ, its so hard to find bras that are pretty as i am limited to 2 companies! But the worst thing is that my spine has a really deep arch as it is counter-acting the weight, it makes my tummy stick out more and makes me look and feel bigger than i am. I am happy with my body because it is mine and even though my boobs droop and my back is curved at least i know that it is my body and i know that we are all different! So girls my point to you is, be happy and be proud of your fantasic booms no matter how they look!
