Hello im a 25 year old man and have always suffered from decaying teeth I have allways brushed reguarly and feel I have good hygene I used to go dentist but have given up as have had numerous filling but they always fall out after about 8 months but have always found my front top four and bottom four have always been fine. My teeth are in pretty poor shape after my childhood and my reluctance to clean my teeth. I'm living with the consequences now, but thankfully I am brushing my teeth twice a day currently. However, my top 2 teeth have began to rot at the top of the tooth where it meets the gum, and I have had numerous fillings. Is there anything I can do to make the appearance of my teeth better, make the teeth whiter and look more healthy. And also, disguise or fix the rotted area between my top two teeth and my gum.
The most suitable solution is to have 'composite' restorations placed which are white - this must be done by a dentist and is available on the NHS for anterior teeth. Keep on top of your brushing etc., stop smoking and avoid foods that stain teeth including wine/curry etc.
the rot at the top of your teeth is because you are not cleaning your teeth properly. i would advise a trip to the dentist to have the rot removed and filling placed, and thena trip to the hygienist for a very strict oral hygiene regime
Hi I'm stevie and I'm coming 26, for the past 9 years my teeth are yellow and the enamel is off most my teeth, I used to drink a lot of fizzy drinks when I was in my teens. I always have to fillings done because I'm always breaking and chipping my teeth and I also smoke I know that doesn't help my teeth but I have tried to quit a few times in the past. But I have bad anxiety problems that I just can't socialise with people because I don't want people seeing my teeth, I can't remember when the last time I actually smiled. Because of my teeth I get badly depressed and there days that I don't eat beacuse I scared of breaking my teeth. I have no confidence or self esteemm, when I see people in street they have nice perfect teeth. I hate my teeth and I hate myself for what I have done to them. Can anybody help or give me advice?
I'm 34 and some of my teeth have crumbled. I only have 24 teeth left and at least 5 have crumbled. I brush my teeth twice per day. My dentist told me that it's due to smoking. I have friends who smoke more than I do but have perfect teeth. Why are my teeth doing this and how do I stop it?

Hi, I'm 15 and recently my dentist has been baffled as to why I still have my baby teeth. I recently had to go there because if two teeth chipping, they were both baby teeth, molars and both on the side of the mouth I eat with normally. The dentist a say it was caused by the pressure of the adult teeth growing and excessive grinding, probably while in bed.My teeth are in good condition, I brush two-three times a day with Clinomin toothpaste as it prevents staining from tea and coffee. I was wondering if there is anything I could do about getting my baby teeth out and stopping grinding, as my dentist hasn't offered me any treatment. Please help, I love my teeth lots, thanks.
hi im 21 and i really hate my teeth and embarrased by them. i never show my teeth, im always covering them up and never smiling. i tend to always have white chewing gum that i use to cover over my front teeth. as a baby had to have loads of medicine and the acid has made my two front teeth really brown and nasty which wont go, i have tryed everything from whitening to biocardonate soda on the teeth brush scrubbing for hours but nothin works. also to make matters worse i have two fangs each side which are bad and stick out low and my teeth are not straight at all. i was always told there was nothing wrong with my teeth and didnt need braces but now im stuck with brown aligned teeth and fangs.. its effecting my life so much everyday and depressing me and im a student who has not got the funds for all the treatment they say do which i have tried, please help me x
hi, im 18 and had the same brown marks on my 2 front teeth through medication etc from when i was younger. i went to the dentist several times and they suggested having vaneers to cover my teeth. i recently moved to a new dentist who suggested microabrasion where they put some acidic substance on the teeth and scrape it off which removes the discolouration i had this done a few months ago and im now completely happy with my teeth :) x
you have got 2 options, 1st don't worry about them at all, if it's not painful, we all have got at least one weakness, some one is short, some one have got bad teeth, some girls got really small breast, .... 2nd, you pull these 2 tooth out and make 2 new once, ( artificial) however it will costs you.
