Hi I'm 20 years old and I have trouble urinating in the mornings. I really need to go but it trickles out and don't feel 100 percent relieved. My tummy is uncomfortable but no stinging pain when urinating so don't think it's urinary infection. Could it be constipation that's causing this?

I'm wondering if I have a kidney problem. I drink about 10 glasses of water during the day. I usually have water first thing in the morning, too. I don't start urinating full outputs until late afternoon. During the early part of the day, I may have the urge to go, but it's just a little bit and sometimes burns (not a UTI... I'm assuming because it's so concentrated). After I start urinating fully, the burning sensation isn't there. What's wrong with me?

Then 3 days ago after urinating what seemed like a very larg amount of seamen started to come out some was clear some was a little brown. Then no more problems and yesterday my left testicle started hurting. The day before it had gotten hit, but not very hard today it is pretty swollen and very tender especially on the back of it. My scrotom is getting larger as well. I'm getting very worried. Please help

I'm a 40 year old male. Earlier this year I was experiencing frequent urinating and painful ejaculation, I attended a GUM clinic and the doctor diagnosed non-specific urethritis, my tests showed I was clear of any STIs, I was given a antibiotic and everything seemed ok the frequent urinating stopped, but ejaculation still felt strange, in a range from irritating, to quite painful. Iv'e been told by a friend whose a few years older that this is quite normal part of the ageing process and sort of put up with it, is he right am i worrying over nothing?

i am 25 and i have just started experiencing slighht irritation/ pain when ejaculating...done seem to be urinating more than normal however sometimes i will feel like i need to urinate but then cannot, sometimes the irritation/pain also happens at end of urination i would describe this pain / irritation around perinium or prostate area.... did u find anything else for u? cheers

I have extremely bad pain around the entrance of my vagina. I have the same sort of pain around my anus and find it very painful and uncomfortable when urinating as both areas feel irritated. I have looked at the areas and they look as if they have small sores or cuts and when wiping after using the toilet I have found blood on the tissue. The areas are not itchy just painful. I have had these symptoms for about two weeks and the pain has become more frequent. The pain is more of an issue during and after urinating. As a result of these pains any form of penetration is unbearable.

I don't feel as if I have any problems during the day with urinating, but I have to get up three or four times a night to do so. I saw my doctor about this, and he asked if I have any such symptons as pain, signs of blood, or difficulty at all with regard to strength of flow. I have none of these fortunately. Can I stop worrying? I'm 71 years old.

Hi, I'm a 27 year old male and had been diagnosed with prostatitis one month back. Since then I've been on antibiotics ( ofloxacin and doxycycline ) along with alpha blockers ( tamsulosin). Though the pain is gone my penis is still sore and burning sensation still exists while urinating especially if the wAter intake had been low. The stream of the urine is extremely narrow and split. There is difficulty starting the urine. And frequency of urination is still high, once every 45 minutes. Last month the colour of my semen was golden yellow but now it has improved to whitish. I intermittently experience difficulty ejaculating. There is no painful erection or ejaculation but I feel like it's blocked ejaculation. I'm really stressed by such persistence of symptoms even after a month of therapy. Is such long recovery period normal ?

Hello .. I'm 28 yrs old and have been suffering from prostatitis since almost 6 yrs ... All I can say is that my life have changed ..it impacted my life in every aspect ...lost my mental strength..I've tried many doctors but nothing has helped me...from my observation I say that only two things have helped so far in minimizing the pain.. drink as much water as you can ...ejaculate at least twice a week n make sure wen you ejaculate each n every single drop of semen should come out and if not then you'd end up having pain in perenium.. to b honest .there is no remedy for this disease..we got this its unfortunate n v have to live with it till v die...I feel I'm cursed :(

Hey, i have those sort of symptoms too. How can you treat it and can i do it without going to the doctors. I've had it for a few months now, but within the past couple of days i've had difficulty urinating, it hurts and i still need the toilet after just going, and there was a wee bit of blood but i'm not certain if it's because i've been a wee bit irregular with my pill atm, but as well as the blood i get sort of small fleshy coloured lumps come out as well? I'm really confused and embarrassed HELP!

It sounds like you're masturbating with a very tight grip. Dan Savage calls this the "death grip." It might be better to relax your hand a bit while you're masturbating, since there's a risk that you'll desensitize the penis to other forms of stimulation, like intercourse for example. Having a slight bend to the left is not a problem, but difficulty ejaculating and urinating certainly is. You should go to the doctor find out what's going on, because I doubt that changing your masturbation style will have any effect on this.

I was watching your show lastnight when I noticed you had a patient who had been diagnosed with prostate cancer.I am a female of 22 who obviously doesnt have prostate cancer, but I did notice that I have infact the same symptoms as that patient. My symptoms involve constant urinating, stopping and starting when urinating and urinating more frequently at night. Is there anything to worry about?

Hi Nigel. I would think an MD would need to provide the actual diagnosis of Phimosis aka tight foreskin. Your age has nothing to do with your foreskin not retracting fully. There are different types of phimosis so again an MD would need to make that type of statement to you. Unless you are having difficulty urinating, ejaculation, painful intercourse or masturbation or get frequent urinary tract infections I would not be alarmed. You may want to research manual foreskin stretching aka tugging techniques online. I hope this helps. Take care

I have had two teeth bridges replaced many times by my local dentists each time at the cost of £1200.00 per bridge but only for the bridge to crack , break or crumble piece by piece. I am a pensioner with very limited income and I am able to meet such costs with a lot of difficulty and constraint. Could you help me to seek a more permanent and stable solution as I have difficulty chewing food without those bridges leading to digestion problems apart from the issue if unsightly dental profile and difficulty in maintaining healthy dental regime thus good health I enjoyed prior to my needing dental bridges. Help please!

do you have social issues like difficulty forming friendships/relationships or obtaining/keeping jobs? if you don't, then it is unlikely you have a disability. if you DO have difficulty in these areas, then you can talk to your doctor about referral to a mental health specialist who would have extensive testing for asperger's disorder or autism. the test doesn't mean anything, really - what is more important is your day to day life.
