Conditions with symptom: 'double cervix'
i have trouble using a tampon.. it won't go fully in coz i have low cervix...is it normal for my cervix to be so low?
It depends on your time of the month where your cervix is. It could be normal for you. Using tampons isn't easy, even for an older woman.
i have a lump on the inside of my vagina which i believe to be my cervix, its never painful nor does it ever cause me discomfort however, it seems to move during sex further up my vagina and the gradualy comes back down and if i push it my self it moves.. is this normal for the cervix or does this mean its something else more serious? A x
Is your cervix supposed to jut down into the vagina? I'm in my late 20's and haven't had kids, when I insert a tampon I can feel what I think is my cervix (a finger shaped thing with what feels like a small hole in the end)quite far into my vagina, is this normal?
I was 28 and had 2 kids before I had my 1st smear Jo. I'm 31 now and had my 2nd last week. It was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. It was over in 5 minutes. My 2nd one has just come back as showing abnormal cells and I have to be retested in 6 months. So its a good job I went! It's 5 minutes of embarrassment vs the rest of your life xn
this is perfectly normal, that is the shape of the cervix.
Hey,i'm 21 an i've had vaginal discharge for about 8years. i have been treated for thrush a few times and have had my cervix burnt as i had erosion of the cervix. Since i had this treatment my discharge has got worse and i now have to wear a sanitary towel everyday and sometimes have to change it. I'm fed up going to the doctors and would like some help?
Im getting worried about my cervix, It seem pretty low and I can feel it even if I insert my finger half way in sometime even less and can feel i clearly. Is my cervix in a normal place or is there something wrong, I feel it will get in the way of when I do have sex? Please help!!!
I have The Same Thing!! I Dont Know Wht 2 Do About It! It Scares Me Alot.
Ahh reading this i can soo relate! Embarrassingly i didn't even know it was my cervix but i'm thinking thats what it must be. And yeh i've only had sex one time and i felt like it did kind of get in the way cos it kind of blocks the penis from going in so it bounces out! :S ahhh what to do?!
my cervix has "dropped" so can I use a pelvic toner or would it be painful ? Sex is already painful due to the hitting of the cervix
Hi, i have a problem that is not exactly the same but quite similar. Im 22 and have not had children and have only had one partner. my cervix is so low that i can feel it if i put half my finger in (it is like this all the time), it hurts to have sex and afterwards my stomach bloats and is painful. i have to angle my tampons sideways to it doesnt hit my cervix. ive been to the doctors twice but both have just told me i have a tilted womb and i have nothing to worry about. has anyone experienced anything similar? thanks
Hi Gemma, im 27 and have got a similar problem. I sometimes find it painfull during sex- my cervix is quite low and it feels as if hes bashing it. I had a smear test and the nurse could not find my cervix which really panicked me. she had to get the doctor to do it and the doctor found it but said i had a tilted cervix as well and not to worry about it but i still do. it feels as though it tilts towards my back. i think im going to go to my doctor about it again but she will probably tell me not to worry again!!
Me and my boyfriend went to the clinic yesterday while I was told my cervix looked perfectly healthy he was diagnosed with genital warts, why wasnt I diagnosed? If my cervix is healthy does that mean I don't have them? Will I get them? There's so many questions I'm worrying that he has cheated on me but he would of given them to me surely? Have had everything tested and I am just waiting for the results now
Hi, I wouldn't jump straight into accusing your boyfriend of cheating on you. Unfortunately HPV( the virus that causes genital warts) can lay dormant in a persons system for many years and may (if it ever does) show it's self when the immune system becomes very low e.g if you get flu. If you had unprotected sex then chances are you will have the virus but depending on how strong your immune system is your body may fight the virus off and you may never get an outbreak. 70-80% of sexually active people contract hpv throughout their lifetime but it mostly goes unnoticed and does not prove an issue, it's like the common cold of std's it's rubbish to have but it's certainly not the worst you can get. Try not to worry but just keep an eye on things and your health in general, which hopefully, you will be doing anyway. Hope I have helped :)
I tested positive for chlamydia, and also got told I had cervicitis (inflamed cervix) caused by the chlamydia. I got given a course of antibiotics which I've finished to clear up the chlamydia but I'm just wondering if it would have cleared up the cervicitis too? I'm worrying like mad that it's going to make me infertile, I'm only 20. How do I know my cervix has gone back to normal?
I saw my GP for bleeding between periods and she noticed my cervix was red and she said this could either be cervical erosion or cervical cancer so referred me to gynaecologY. I saw the gynacologist last week and told her my symptoms and also that I have really heavy discharge which is really embarrassing as it shows through trousers. She told me that my cervix is red but that it doesn't matter. She could not do a smear as I am under 25. She said there is nothing I can do about the discharge, stating it is normal and I will have to just get used to it. What can I do now as I cannot spend every day running to the toilet? Thankyou
Hopefully you have had your referral now. But you dint have to live with heavy discharge. There is a procedure that helps with the cervical erosion and when this is done the discharge should reduce very much so. I lived with this from 14 to 30 its not pleasant. I had different docs tell me id have to livs with it until one day a gp spotted the erosion referred me on and i was told it was a rather large cervical erosion and i would have had it years. Dont take no for an answer
Have you tried going to a sexual health clinic? They might be able to help. Sounds like your gynecologist wasn't very helpful, but a different doctor might be better. Good luck
