My discharge has always been normal but I recently tasted my discharge, because I'm always self conscience when my boy friend gives me oral. My discharge has this sour taste that has never been there before. This has been going on for at least three weeks now. My discharge has no smell and my vagina doesn't itch or anything out of the ordinary but this sour taste. I want to know what I can do so it can return to it's original taste.

I am 17 years old and I have this totally normal vaginal discharge but there is one thing that bothers me and I want to get rid of this. I am constantly thinking the day I'm going to have sex for the first time and I don't want my future husband too see my genitals with this off-white discharge nor my panties stained with dried discharge.

Now, I'm no doctor but I'm pretty sure there's no getting rid of, or stopping, vaginal discharge - it's a completely natural process. In saying this, if your partner is put off by the discharge (or finds it disgusting etc) he clearly isn't mature enough to be having sex with you in the first place. Vaginas (and the discharge that comes with them) are not baby smooth and smell like peaches. The best I can say is keep your vaginal area nice and clean with water.

hi i have a problem with vaginal discharge. most days i am fine and the discharge is quite limited. but sometimes the discharge can be heavy and fast, and just happens when i am out shopping. it feels warm and makes my underwear very wet and uncomfortable. i have to run to the nearest bathroom to sort myself out is this normal ?

I'm 17 and I find that half way through my cycle I get what I can only assume is a discharge, however it is not my usual discharge texture colour or odour. It feels almost as if I've come on my period, I will always go into the bathroom to check, its very watery, odourless and colourless. It often soaks my under-ware forcing me to change them. Is this infact discharge?

I've had vaginal discharge for a couple of years, thought it was perfectly normal as it was a white discharge. But now it's kind of like a yellowy colour and sometimes can smell, I'm not sexually active at the moment but I have been. Sometimes it feels like I've wet myself. 9x out of 10 I've always got discharge. I'm very concious about this, it's making me feel very embarrassed and I'm worried.

Brown Discharge is one of common concerns of girls and women. Not all cases of brown vaginal discharge are cause for concern. Brown vaginal discharge is most often associated with old endometrial tissues. Once you start puberty a white and/or clear discharge is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. You can have this normal discharge for weeks, months or even years before getting your first period. It will also continue after you get your period. >> Sometimes you can have few times brown discharge before your first period. >>>Your first period can look like this also. If your period is late you might get a brown, rather than red, discharge. It could also mean that for whatever reason during your last menses the entire uterine lining failed to make a timely exit. Brown Discharge may happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown. This may occur when you are ovulating in the middle of menstrual cycle.

I have quite excessive discharge. I have been tested for STD's which have been negative. I get quite a wet discharge during sex which I feel very uncomfortable about. The discharge never smells but it does have a slight tinge of mucus green colour some days. But like I said the results for any STD's has always been negative. I have noticed after the birth of my five year old the discharge has been alot heavier. Can you give me any advice please.

It is discharge. Throughout your cycle your cervical mucus (discharge) changes. Too much discharge all the time, especially accompanied by a strange or off odor, can be a sign of an infection.

I have asked my friends about it and they say they never have any discharge left in their knickers. Is there anything i could do to stop the discharge? if so please help! Thank you

I am 23 and have suffered with discharge since I was 13. I have got 4 young children and my discharge had got alot worse since having kids. I have to change my pantyliner everytime I use the toilet as there is a thick yellowish stringy discharge with a bit of a smell. I have been tested for almost everything several times and everything has come back clear. I have even been to see a Gynicologist (excuse my spelling) and she told me I must just produce alot of discharge, and this amount is normal for me. I cant bear it anymore, I can never wear a thong or knickers without having to wear either a sanatry towel or liner. Is there anything I can do to slow down the discharge or make it thinner? Please help!

I have nipple discharge. The discharge appears when ever I examine my breasts or squeeze around the nipple area. The discharge can be anything from creamish, greenish & blackish. My doctor referred me to a specialist who gave me a mamogram. The results were clear & the specialist said that unless the discharge was bloodstained it was nothing to worry about. This was over two years ago & it just dosen't feel normal.

i also get a lot of discharge and i find its more comfortable to wear liners in my underwear, that way i only have to change them and not my underwear.

Hi ellie. This I'm sure is normal. As discharge gets heavier around your period. And it's the hormone changes that probably changed the colour of the discharge. The brown discharge after your period is most likely remains of blood mixed in with discharge that the period is getting rid of. Happens to me, quite normal:) if your not sure, double check with your Gp. Hope this helps:)

I am 22 and extremely embarrassed by my vaginal discharge it started when i was 14 and has not got any better over the years, its an odourless discharge but its horrible that you always have damp knickers, i have had tests for sti's but came back clear, is there anything i can do to stop the discharge? Please help !!!! Many thanks
