Conditions with symptom: 'enlarged vagina'
Hi, I'm almost 14, and I have REALLY enlarged labias, no I have not had sex. I really don't remember, but I think I was little and I started.... I guess ......"playing with myself"... And now they're enlarged and its very embarrassing to wear a swim suit, because you see how enlarged they are. I'm to embarrassed to talk to a doctor and I don't have a mom to tell and I don't feel like telling my dad this... At all. I want the problem to go away. I want a normal sized one, small and not enlarged! It's embarrassing and I want it back to normal, I just don't know how and I'm scaried that's it will always be like that forever, and I don't want to tell my dad, nor my doctor because I'm scaried of what they are going to say and do! Like they're going to say"eeww, that's gross" and just I want to get rid of it...... Please please please help me!!!:(
I woke up today and my lady area was sore and swollen, it was red as well so i put some suda-cream on and I've come back from school and discovered nearly all the swelling is gone apart from my enlarged labia that plagues me (a sort of enlarged lip of the vagina that's bigger than the other). This is really big puffy and swollen. Does anyone know what it is? Extra info, I'm on a period and using new pads so could I be allergic to them and I've just started taking some hormonal medication and i'm sexually active (std?) It's not a bacterial infection because I know what there like :L Sorry I didn't know where else to post it.
I am 19 years old, and I have been having abnormal problems with my vagina; mainly, dealing with the appearance of it. Since I was very young like 13 years old, I have noticed that my vagina looked different. I believe normal young women are suppose to have "tiny butt" looking vagina (please excuse my informal use of language). But for me there is a large segment sticking out of my vagina. I am unsure what the condition is, whether it is just enlarged vaginal lips or uterine prolapse. Please help me out with this, I have been concerned with this problem for a very long time but yet have not enough courage to face reality till now. Thank you so much!
I look different and I do n't have sex any more because I did have 5 children and it has been many years now without sex I want to but I don't fill any thing any-more so it is getting very bad.so please help me from Christine
Christina if you are referring to the labia minora (that's the inner lips of the vargina) sticking out from between the labia majora (the outer lips) then there is nothing to worry about, it is perfectly normal, mine look like that. Some women may have a "tiny butt" looking vigina, but I think that's less common in women and normally only young girls have virginas with such appearances. If you're referring to something sticking out from your virginal canal then I have no idea. Maybe you could ask your gynecologist the next time you go for a smear test.
My inner labia has been larger than the outer labia as far back as I can remember , I think I was around 4 years old when it got enlarged . I have always been self conscious about it even as a small child , my question is , is it normal for it to be enlarged so early ?
It is normal ,most of men like that
I am 22 years old and have been sexually active for a number of years. However, where my labia comes together towards the bottom of the vagina is actually around the urethral opening rather than the vaginal opening, and so I have a section of stretchy flesh over both the urethral and vaginal openings. This means that in order for anything to be inserted into the vagina it has to go in the entrance of this flesh (by the urethra), be pushed backwards towards the vagina, then pushed up into the opening. This causes pain during sex as the penis rubs on this flesh a lot and I lose tampons on a regular basis. I also have an enlarged and asymmetrical labia. Does anyone else have anything like this? Might I need to have surgery?
I too have enlarged labia but not to the point where i do not want to wear a bikini or anything ike that. My partner isnt bothered infact dont think hes even noticed that there that big, i think its me with the insecurities. However by having enlarged labia i am worried that it may affect you during childbirth??? Can it make this harder?
I'm 16 and have only one enlarged labia, well its not really enlarged its just really long ... i hate it so much and im extremely unconfident about myself i was wondering can anyone tell me if its normal? and maybe how to get rid of it? it hangs down lower than my outside bits and it can be uncomfortable. it doesnt look swollenish like on the pictures, just thin, long and droopy. please help me!

Hello, I am 15 and have had an enlarged labia and it seemed to first start getting bigger when I was around 12/13 years old. I hate the look of it down there, and my inner lips are always together, this might sound weird but sometimes it feels like my vagina can't breath.. Often there are also white/creamy specks down there, I think they are coming out of my urethral opening and I don't know what they are.. Can someone help, please!?
I too have an enlarged labia, i first noticed it during puberty, at your age. i never felt comfortabale in tight jeans etc , i thougt it was something that happened during puberty. not so when I saw pornographic labia, i felt abnormal and hid myself from my boyfriend, soon to be husband. He couldnt understand it, he thought I was beautiful and in the end thats all that mattered. But im still at times very shy at showing my labia to my husband. Of courae he doesnt care, and loves me and everything about me. men do not care what it looks like , they love you and everything that goes with you. I asked him if i could get surgery to cortrect the portruding labia, he gave me an almighty no!
I'm 6 weeks pregnant and have an internal scan tomorrow, I have enlarged labia and I'm so worried that the person scanning is going to stare at it and ask me questions about it in front of other people and in the room and I'm so embarrassed! I'm only17, can someone tell me if she'll ask questions about my enlarged labia??
I'm about 6 weeks pregnant and I'm scared about that to
my labia minora has grown from the part by entrance of vagina like a slug down towards my anus on one side it was painful and then settled down. I thought it was a biathlon cyst as that is what I was told in the past but it hasn't gone away this time like before and im worried now as it seems a little enlarged and sensitive again.
Hello ! I have exactly the same issue.. Have you discovered what it is? I'm tempted to go to the doctors because it has been growing and it's weird that my vagina is connected by skin to my bum!!! Any help would be appreciated !
Well I went to the Dr taking pics I took with me and he looked at the pics and said something was wrong then looked at me and said its normal now. This really wound me up because when I got home it looked the same to me. Anyway my labia is still longer on one side but doesn't hurt and my bf hasn't said or acted differently so guess its just how my body has changed over time. And the bit between my vagina and bum has gone down so guess it was just irritated and flared up for a week or so. Go to the dr as might be different for you, I know its not easy to do but try not to worry and please let me know what the dr says.
