I am 17 and for the past few months my erections have been weak and on the off chance I get one they go down much quicker. I don't smoke and I am not diagnosed as depressed but I personally think I might be and apparently depression can be a reason for erectile dysfunction. Help please?

Unfortunately its much worse. Circumcision removes an enormous amount of nerve tissue and blood vessels that are important in sexual function. Because of this, circumcised men are almost 5 times more likely to suffer ED. Add to that your diabetes and you arent very lucky :( Some men use stretching to restore their foreskins, and have some success in treating their ED because it resensitises the glans. But more important is control of your blood pressure, your circulation and your blood sugars. I wish you all the best.

My boyfriend is suffering with erectile dysfunction, he can get an errection but cant always maintain it. My comments are mainly for the guys. Please talk to your partner about things and how your feeling. My boyfriend felt too embarassed to talk at first which left my mind working overtime eg. is this because of me? am i doing something wrong or not doing enough of something? Because of this, i stopped initiating sex, thinking it might go wrong and embarass him, whilst my boyfriend was thinking i'd gone off him and made performance anxiety even worse. We now talk about things and although he still has erectile dysfunction, were deaking with it as a couple.

At 22 I wouldn't say this was normal, but it depends on your lifestyle. If you are drinking and smoking lots then erectile dysfunction will happen lots more, and if you add obesity to that list it increases once again. However if your fit and healthy and don’t drink or smoke to much you may want to see your local GP to see what they think. If you don’t want to see your Doc about this and prefer to do it over the internet or phone you could always see out an online Pharmacy. If you do go the online route, always make sure you buy from a registered UK pharmacy with the green pharmacy logo on their website which when clicked displays their pharmacy information. Try Medical Specialists Pharmacy they have been helping people with erectile dysfunction online for over 10 years.

Erectile dysfunction I incredibly common. Please don't ever be embarrassed about it as we as healthcare professionals see loads of people with it. As discussed the best option is to see a healthcare professional and have some investigations to exclude any serious underlying condition. Once we have excluded this, there are lots of treatment options. Some Psychological therapies, The PDE5 inhibitors (tablets such as Viagra), however if these don't work, there are other options. We sometime use 'muse' which is a urethral medication or pumps and elasticated rings to manually achieve erections, there is also the option of an injection (which sounds far worse than it is!). The issue here is that erectile dysfunction can really depress people and causes relationship problems, and these medications and therapies are there to help. Don't sit there in silence there really is something that we can do about it!

Irrespective of the particular symptoms. Erectile dysfunction of any kind at your age is not normal. Go. Doctor (GP). Now.

There's nothing wrong with masturbating once a day, but masturbating less frequently will likely result in firmer erections, so you may want to try that. Being in good physical shape can help significantly with erectile function too, so make sure you're getting regular cardiovascular exercise, such as running or cycling. Yohimbine and l-arginine are non-prescription options for treating ED (Erectile Dysfunction) that you could look for in a health food store. ED has many potential causes, so a trip to the doctor might also be a good idea to help find the right solution for you.

First of all if it's ruining the 'sex-life' you have at 17, then you must give me some tips. I'm 26 and don't seem to be having as much sex as you are at 17. Secondly, this is normal. It sounds like you're engaging in casual sex which can be quite stressful when you're young since you put so much pressure on yourself to get and maintain an erection that you can't, and then it becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy every time you have sex. I, and lots of other guys, have experienced this. Try to find a girlfriend with whom you can have regular sex. The familiarity and trust completely eliminates the anxiety after one or two failed attempts.

Hi Pete, as Jimmy says you are only 17 and you have all your life ahead of you. Jimmy says to try and get a regular girl to have sex with and I would agree with that but what I would suggest is ask the girl to be patient with you as you suffer from anxiety whilst performing sex, If she agrees don't try and have sex right away but try lots of light intimate kissing all over her body and she can do likewise with you. Also do a lot of touching and caressing and in time you will relax and once you relax I am quire sure your problem will disappear. Two bulls a old and young bull are standing atop a hill looking down on a herd of cows. excitedly the young bull who is jumping up and down says to the old bull Lets run down there and grab a cow and make love to her. To which the old bull replies. No, lets you and I walk down there and make love to them all. So slow down Pete take your time and enjoy the foreplay the erection will come in no time. I am sure of it.
