my boobs are fairly normal, my nipples are a little larger that i would like but just above my left i have what i would say a bit of extra nipple skin it about the circle size of a skittle, i wouldn't describe it as a 3rd nipple but i really don't like it so there anything i could do to get rid of it? i feel its too small and pathetic to get surgery, thanks :)

You actually need to tell your mum seriously, You are normal you might just have extra skin :) don't worry okay :). But go tell your mum !

i've told my mum about it before and she took me to the doctors when i was in year 7 but i think its got worse im not sure.. but even tho it is my mum i find it really embarasing to talk about or show anyone :/

I think I have 1 inverted nipple, and 1 normal one. The inverted nipple isn't fully inverted, it is inverted in the middle part of the nipple. It does come out if I keep touching it ( it becomes hard ) and the whole nipple could be seen, sometimes, with a tiny small folding. The other nipple seems at all fine. The "inverted" nipple is always inverted, as long as I remember. May I ask, is this "shy", " inverted " nipples? Or another thing?

Hi, i am 18 years old and have had a sore itchy nipple for a few months now. When i have itched the nipple it has split and bled slightly. Now my nipple always seems to have discharge on the top of it, or it seems really dry. I have tried moisturising it, but it doesn't stop the itching and discharge. My breast has also become very sore now, as if it is bruised and it feels very tender when i touch the nipple. Should i go and see my GP?

Hi I am 21 and have also been suffering from a sore itchy nipple too. My right one seems to have dry skin all around the nipple and i have also tried to keep it well moisturised. Really dont want to go to my GP as only have a male GP in the surgery i go to and i feel way too uncomfortable.

I just recently turned 17 and I never really noticed until now how tubular my breasts are. They are very far apart which gives me literally no cleavage, and they look very underdeveloped as the nipple area is quite large. I'm even having to go to the extremes of putting extra padding in my bra as it makes me feel so self-conscious about my boobs. Also, I've never let anyone see me naked as I am so unconfident with myself because of this. Is there any way of me having surgery at this age on them? And how much would it cost and what are the risks?

I'm not sure if I have a third nipple. It's on my lower abdomen diagonally below my bell button and it's pink almost exactly like my nipples on my breasts. It looks kind of like it has a small areola and a tiny nipple inside it but I'm not sure. Could this be a third nipple?

From what you've said it's pretty clear that you're a healthy and perfectly normal 17 year old. The stretch marks don't mean that you're fat or have too much fat, its just means that you have good sized breasts that have slightly stretched your skin as they have grown. It's perfectly normal and most women have stretch marks on some part of their body. If you wanted to try to get rid of them you can use creams and oils, such as bio oil.

On each of my breasts, on the nipple area there are strange bumps either side of my nipple. I've researched it and it definitely isn't enlarged mammary glands, there is two on each nipple and they look slightly like nipples, but I know they aren't extra nipples. !!Please help, I don't know what they are and I just want them gone

I have a third nipple about 4 inches below my normal left nipple it is small and really doesnt bother me but I also have webbing all the way up my two middle toes on the left side. I'm really healthy though and neither situation bothers me. The toes freak people out more than my extra nipple. Are these things related?

I just happen to come across this page while looking into something else. i would like to share my experience. i had a third nipple up to the age of 16 when i had it removed because i was ashamed of it. unfortunatly my experience was not good i now have a scar 3 times the size of the extra nipple. i also know another lady who had the same op and you wouldn't know it was ever there. to all those out there who have a third nipple dont worry its not ugly at all, infact its just a little bit more of you for someone to love. good luck with what ever you decide to do with yours.

Don't worry if you do have a third nipple. It is very common found in 1 in 18 males and 1 in 50 women. It is probable that you know some people who do have an extra nipple but they just haven't told you. Kindafunny that your both keeping the same thing a secret. LOL

hi i've read lots of stories about third nipples, but no one i have read about had the same location of it as I. i'm not sure if this is not even an accessory nipple or just a nipple deformation, but my third nipple is right next to my normal left nipple. In fact, i think i have two accessory nipples to the left of my left nipple. the extra two are touching the normal one in a linear fashion to the left. like tic tac toe three in a row. ive been hiding this ever since i could remember and no one outside of my family knows about it. it makes it hard to take my shirt off in public, as im a guy, and they are not covered by normal swimwear. i want to get them removed, but i am worried about the cost. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I too have an extra friend! Mine is hardly noticeable at all. I'm 24 and I only realized it a couple of years ago. I noticed it had characteristics of a nipple, rather than just a blemish. But I don't care, I've got double D's so that bad lad can hide all it wants... doesn't stop me from busting it out and showing all of my friends. Be proud of your extra nipples!

hi ellie, i too have a third nipple that is also actually on my left breast and also i have alot of extra breast tissue with it that makes my left breast alot bigger and different in shape than my right breast. it is not that noticeable with clothes on but without clothes and a bra it is alot bigger than the right breast and looks terrible. the third nipple is also quite big( not much smaller than the normal one) and is exactly like a normal nipple. have you ever been to the doctors about this? i have a few times when i was younger and he kept telling me to come back if it becomes a problem when im older..... i am now 28.... anyway i hope this makes you feel a bit better as your not on your own. x

Hi if anyone has 'big nipple' issues there's a top called Funkybod, it has extra padding on the chest area therefore helping to reduce the appearance of big nipples, its also a muscle top meaning it has extra padding around muscle areas, it works for me.

hi all, i actually have 2 extra nipples, both right near my armpits, one on either side. my mum always told me that they were moles though. when i asked about the colour she just said that some moles dont get them. one of them could definately pass for a mole as it is quite flat, but the other definately looks like a nipple as it is raised like a nipple. my brothers always used to tease me when i was younger saying it was a that it was a third nipple but i just shrugged it off and said it was a mole. although i had suspisions that it may have been a nipple (i never even suspected the other one to be one), i only confirmed my suspisions almost 2 years ago after i had my first child and it lactated. after having my second child 7 weeks ago i decided to see if the other one lactated as well and sure enough it did. not much, but enough to know that was what it was doing. im not embarassed by these as i have always had them in full view because i was told they were moles. i cant remember how old i was when i first noticed them. i would not get them removed unless they caused a problem. to this day i have never told anyone that they are actually nipples and i do not know if my mum knows they are either. i think that if u are not self concious about them then no one will probably notice anyway.

I found out I had a third one that I always thought was a chicken pox scar. I went to the doctor for a physical and she said I was completely healthy and asked me how long I knew about my accessory nipple. Of course I had no clue I even had one. At first I didn't want to tell anyone but after awhile I decided to see how people reacted. Now I have no problem showing people my extra nipple when they think they have something cool to show everyone. Embrace it and ignore the slim nasty comments you may get.
