hi,i used a skin treatment to get rid of my freckles but it also reduces hyperpigmentation and sun damage, it was prescription only and was called obagi nu derm system. its quite expensive but really worked for me, hope this helps

In Daniel's episode he was prescribed a cream called Pigmanorm for his hyperpigmentation. This cream should only be used under medical supervision and after a correct diagnosis has been made, so please talk to your GP or Dermatologist in the first instance.

hi, i am 42 yrs old, i have one child who is 9, and i would like to know if there is anything that can be done about my problem. For quite some time now, i have had problems with my vagina, mainly inside. During intercourse i have very little sensitivity around that area, and also if i laugh hard or cough i can sometimes loose some urine. This is causing me problems now, as i will not go out with friends as i am bothered about weeing myself and also it is causing problems within my marriage as i will do my best to avoid intercourse, as i just dont enjoy it anymore. I have been to see my GP about this, but all i was given was some exercises and some cream to try, which didnt help at all, and if anything just made me more frustrated, please help as this may be my last resort, thankyou

Hi I'm Jess (age 21) and my Mum is obese. She has been obese for as long as I can remember. There is no reason for her weight, other than she eats too much and does little exercise. Her laziness and attitude to diet is driving me crazy. She is suffering from lots of health problems- joint problems, breathing problems. She even started snoring a few years ago, to the point where I can't even sleep in the same house as her. We went to disney this year- and I couldn't enjoy myself as her seatbelt wouldn't fasten on the plane and she struggled to fit on the rides. What can I do to help. When I say anything I just get attitude from her. Thanks

Hi Jess. I'm really sorry for your situation and the unfortunate thing is that as much as we can want people to change, they must want it too to do it fully themselves. Does your mum know how much you worry about her? Try and explain this to her without giving her a lecture, as I'm sure she is already beating herself up about her weight. I'm sure she wants to change but may not know how. Why don't you dry and get involved with her weight loss? the 2 of you could go to zumba class which could be really fun. Or ye could join weight watchers together. Whether you need to lose weight or not the healthy recipes will still benefit you. I hope this helps.x

I regularly get a taste of ammonia in the back of my throat (3-5 times a week - anytime) - I have had tonsil problems for years, in that they are permanently enlarged, I have breathing problems and snore loudly. I also suffer from heartburn quite often, although not so much lately, so I am wondering if these problems could be related. I have found recently that the taste comes after I have gulped down a drink but it is very irregular. My partner says he can't smell it but the taste for me is really pungent and overpowering. I can even feel it in the back of my nose. There is no pain associated but the regularity of this problem has become a cause of concern. It started about 4 months ago.

you need to get your tonsils removed through surgery, it's possible they may have some sort of infection which isn't tonsillitus. the important thing to know is that the tonsils are a part of the body that are not needed for anything, they're basically useless. all they do is get infected, getting them removed will be beneficial to you, a lot of children get them remeoved when they're young if they have suffered from tonsilitus more than twice, and will probably solve your problem! it's a scary thought but theres nothing to be affraid of trust me! good luck

Would check with your GP first. I recently got my nose pierced and I love it :) oh, you have to be 16 anyway...

agreed with the other comment - you should check with your GP but you don't have to be 16 to have it done - but you do have to have a parent or guardian with you when you have it done. hope this helps :)

The bladder problems yes. Im not sure about the neurological side effects. Just found out I have this from the VA at 24 years old. I hope you feel better.

Hi, i am 23 and have two problems relating to my penis. I've been wanting to go and a doctor about these problems but have been too ashamed and embarrassed to do so. All help and advise will be truly appreciated. Firstly im having problems keeping an erection, i can keep it for about five minutes at the most, i have always had this problem since the very first time i had sex. Me and my partner have stopped trying to have sex quite some time ago because of frustations of me not being able to last any longer than five minutes and this is putting a big strain on our relationship. Is there anything I can do about this problem? And secondly my penis size is way too small(length and girth), the size of it constantly gets me down day in day out, if for instance i had to go for a pee in a public toilet i always use the toilet in the cubicle instead of the basin and if i go swimming or use the gym i wont use the showers afterwards as im too ashamed. is there anything i can do about this? Does penis enlargement pills actually work? or surgery? but then what are the costs of surgery? is it available on the nhs? I need some serious advise please as these problems are putting me down and causing alot of stress on a daily basis and I need to try and do something about it fast.

First of all, do not be ashamed or embarrassed; what you are going through is perfectly normal and doctors have seen it all before! There's nothing to worry about and if you are concerned then a doctor might be far more helpful to you than you think. Secondly, perception of size is a big problem with men. Everyone thinks their penis is too small. Have you measured it? Anything over 7cm is seen as normal and the average is between 12-15cm. So don't let porn fool you into thinking your penis is too small. As for your problems keeping an erection; do you masturbate? If yes then this is the best time for you to train yourself to last longer. Experimenting with yourself is the best way to build up your experience before you engage with any sexual activity with your partner. Also, if you are in a loving relationship then you should be able to talk about it and feel free to discuss it with each other and come up with solutions. Maybe you haven't discovered what turns you on? You are still 23 so you've got plenty of time to figure it out with the right partner. Stress is another big factor in erectile problems - if you are experiencing high amounts of stress then your performance will be affected accordingly. Try to find things that relax you before you have sex and try and get out of the mentality that you are "failing". 9 times out of 10 there is nothing physically wrong with you - the route cause is most likely psychological. Penis enlargement surgery is a very risky surgery and very costly too. It can result in permanent erectile dysfunction and all sorts of other complications. Also, pills that claim to enlarge your penis simply don't work. I hope this helps.

your 1st problem could be due to lots of factors: stress is a main one,and probably you stressing about it is making it worse. you should speak to your doctor theyll be able to offer better advice, and your 2nd question its not all about size its what you do with it, allot of women cant orgasm purely with penetration anyway, some can only have clitoral orgsasms. just experiment :)

I'm 39 and have always been clumsy, I never handwrite anything if possible. unfortunately dyspraxia is commonly linked with other problems. For me it has led to major depressive episodes and anxiety problems. I have been to my GP but I was sent to a neurologist and not someone who can diagnose it. Unfortunately my daughter has a more severe version of the same problem and is having the same problems with the GP's. The only reason I realised I have these problems is I've been doing a psychology degree. I wish things were better for my daughter she's getting close to starting her GCSE's

I get the head and neck sweating . Also my legs from the knees to my toes are so hot it wakes me up . I know what causes my problem. White wine . One glass over a bottle and I suffer both problems . To others I would say think of your way of life . Something is causing your problems. If I stopped drinking my problems would disappear.

I am on Testogel 5mg sachets which I apply each morning but I still have problems ! admittedly I have not been on it very long. although this is my second try at this product, I have also had Sustanon 250 via injections which did not improve many of my symtoms, I have sleep problems, anxiety issues, and a comtinual burning in the groin , lower legs and soles of my feet , I do not think that lack of Testosterone alone is causing my health problems

I am a 45 year old woman who has bechets snydrome, the early symtoms started in my early twenties,I was only properly diagnosed about 5 years ago.I am on a concoction of tablets and a 8 weekly infusion, the infusions have improved my life by 50 percent, this time last year I thought I was going to end up in a wheelchair.Less of the dome and glome I would like to say how happy I am to see bechets being brought into the light, because I fill like any other decease the quicker they make a diagnosis the better the changes of getting it under control so you can live your life.My advice to anyone suffering from any problems like these broughtout in the show or in any of these comments, make notes of all your different problems and how often they occur, be strong, you are within your rights to ask to be referred to a hospital which specializes in this field. there are so many different symtoms and it effects every body very differently, which can make it difficult to diagnose.I am going to list some of my problems over the years of the top of my head it might help :-ulcers headaches jiont problems rashes lesions stomache problems bowel problems boils weakness/tiredness sweets water infections other infections eye problems memory problems balance/cordination I wish everybody good luck for the furture

I started my period at nine, and never had a regular cycle. In my late teens I had the signs of cervical cancer, had the biopsies was put on depo shot for couple yrs because it got to where i wasn't having a period, then stopped with the shots cause i got married in all hopes to have a baby. That was 13 yrs ago. Was diagnosed with pcos. I'm extremely embarrassed of the excess hair, I do shave my face but my biggest problem is the hair on my chest. I Have To Buy Sally Hansen Blair Bleach For The Body and bleach it. I work in a business where I have close contact with folks and I can tell they notice. I also have a problem with acne. Im 33 and shouldnt have pimples! Best thing to do is talk to your ob/gyn so they can get you checked out. If you are over weight they will tell you that you need to lose weight (I'm not convinced this is a cause since there are heavier people in the family who have children). They may have to do surgery in which they laser holes in the cysts to break them up. Good luck!

I know that feeling! As sad as it is, i often feel like the problems i have with my vagina rule my life!! I don't seem to be able to solve any of my problems, even after surgery and several tests (which same as everyones all came bck clear) im still in pain during and after sex. Not to mention the subsequent thrush or cystitis!!! Im beginning to feel like i will just have to give up and deal with the pain. Its sad that so many of us dont seem to be able to have our problems solved or even properly diagnosed. The vaginas are out to get us!!

Hi, I'm 16 and have been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years now, for the past 2 and a half weeks I've noticed bleeding sometimes during intercourse and spots of blood during the following few days. I have been on the contreceptive pill for over 2 years now and have never had problems with spotting before. I don't feel its an infection as I've noticed no other differences or problems since this has been happening. We have never had problems with sex before. I'm not sure what to do and the worrying is starting to get me down, Any advice or help would be highly appreciated, thankyou.

you might have a urinary tract infection my symptoms were similar to you and I'm 17 I also never had any problems with my bladder either it was super weird but my doctor told me that's what it was and gave me antibiotics that I had to take everyday for about three weeks

I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis of the lymph nodes two years ago this disease is in fact a killer little is known about it and it should be made more aware of. It can affect any part of the body i have had eye problems and ear problems since being diagnosed it is a constant worry because people who suffer from this have to fight to get help with the problems than can arise i really hope in the future this disease will be made more known because suffers need the help and some are just not getting it.

Hey! Reading peoples comments on here has really comforted me about my own problems. My labia were completely normal until the age of about 12 when problems with a period pad one day caused them to become enlarged. I am now 15 and a half and they have stayed like that ever since. I've always comforted myself that I can have surgery when im older but now im not so sure what with people saying it can basically ruin your sexual sensations. For now though im trying not to worry and just wait and see if my enlarged labia will actually cause any problems for me during sex etc in the future, before I decide.

I got 48 and i am 30 yrs old, female and never been diagnosed with an autistic spectrum disorder however i had been diagnosed with behavioural problems, hyperactivity, OCD, anxiety and depression, and some specific learning difficulties. I had seen psychologists when i was a child and psychiatrists but it was pointless. A place at a school for kids with my problems was offered but it was too far away and my mother did not want me to leave home, neither did i. The worst thing is the loneliness. I have problems everyday with social situations and change. I have never had a relationship and hardly had friends.

I AM THE SAME MY MUM AND DAD DONT UNDERSTAND IT MAKES ME WORSE I HATE HAVING TABLETS FOR IT AND I WISH THERE WAS A WAY TO STOP IT COMPLETELY AND BE LIKE EVERY 1 ELSE.

In most people varicocele causes no problems. Christopher's urologist was a bit zealous, it often has no impact on fertility and studies have shown conflicting things as to whether or not fixing the varicocele improves fertility (and that is only in men who actually have fertility problems!) It certainly isn't responsible for 80% of male infertility. That said, if it is severe it can cause problems and should be treated. Go see your doctor and they will be able to help you decide if this needs to be treated or if it can safely be ignored.

Why do we always relate prostate cancer with Urine problems? Although this may be an indicator, prostate cancer can occur without these or any problems. I had no symptoms at all. A routine PSA check followed by a biopsy showed that I had an advance state of prostate cancer. Gleason score of 9. Yet I did not have any urinary problems. Fortunately a radical prostectomy followed by radiotherapy has put it right. The only way to be sure is to give all men over 50 a PSA test but even this is only an indication and is not conclusive.
