When I am sleeping all of a sudden fluid will come up and into my throat. I wake up and run to the bathroom. I am not getting sick to my stomach. Then I have to cough and clear my throat for 1/2 hour or so to get rid of the fluid in my throat/lungs(?). It is stomach fluid (I guess) coming up. This has been happening more frequently since the middle of July. I had radiation 3 years ago to my lower body and am wondering if this could have possibly damaged something and it took this long to show up.
I have this too and have been diagnosed with hiatus hernia and reflux. It's worth seeing your gp and following his/her advice.

Hi Im 29 and I have had fluid leaking from my left breast for about 18 months now. I had my prolactin levels checked and they came back normal. I was sent to a breast clinic, I never got a mammogram as they said I was too young to have one, they said the fluid would settle down, however it's got worse and it's happening most days. I'm not pregnant and never have been. Please help. Cheryl.

Is constipation normal when you have gone through the menopause? I have had my ovaries and fallopian tubes removed for genetic reasons. I am 46 years old. This is completly abnormal to me as my bowels were always regular pre op. Now I find I have to sit for quite some time to go, if I can at all. I have to mention that I drink 5 pints of water a day to replace fluid that I lose during my 8/10 sweats a night. I am lactose intolerant; can you advise me on what I should do as I think I have a balanced diet. My fluid intake is ok; what am I doing wrong?
