Hi I think I may have a type of vaginal fungus. Above my clit and around the inside of the outer vaginal lips it looks like white skin that peels off when i wash. I don`t seem to have any discharge though. Could it be Thrush? How can I treat it?

If you don't have any itching, or redness of the vagina, chances are you are allergic to something you are using. The most common things that cause this are soap, body wash, laundry powder/detergent, and toilet paper. I was suffering from this for about 3 months, and I tried thrush treatments, antibacterial creams etc, and I finally found out that the toilet paper I was using was reacting with my skin. There is obviously a chance that you do have something else and if you rule out all possible allergens go see your doctor again.

hello, last 6 months i struggled the itching problem in my testes, doctors told you have affected by fungus and gave some medicine but no use. i am scared, if any medicine and treatment is available is available please give some suggestion.

I have three finger nails that are coming detached from the top. I keep my nails short but I can see under the nail that it looks strange. What can I do to discourage the fungus, I suppose. I have never had this problem before and I am 67 now, what has happened to me? My fingers dont look good any more. Do you think athletes foot cream would help?

Try tineacide I started using it a week ago and i can see a small amount of healthy nail coming through. I too was quitting all together till I found this product and it seems to be working. It looks lotion but, when applying use different clean cotton swabs on each toe so you don't contaminate the bottle or other healthy nails

I am in my thirties and have been suffering from an anal fungus for years, and am too embarrassed to see a doctor. I did visit a doctor once, who told me it was Tinia. He prescribed some Canistan cream, which initially helped.. I had a red ring mark around my anus, which is not as obvious now. I was in hospital having minor surgery last month, and was not eating much...I noticed that I had lots of anal fungus..more so than normal? Every morning when I wake up, I find that this fungus or form of candida is present. Around my scrotum are signs of the odd fungus.I am a gay man and wondered whether I have an std? Maybe it is Tinea and I need anitbiotics? I have not had a std check up for a few years now. I also suffer from Nail psoriosis which also affects various parts of my body. could this be contributing to my sypmtoms? Whats your verdict? Please help? I want to be sexually active and find it embarrassing.

I took black fungus soup for 40 days, it helps to flatten my Xanthelasma and reduce slightly in size. I do not add ginger as it is too "heaty". I feel sleepy for the first 1 week plus as the body is detoxing. My face complexion seems to be slightly better. My brother drink the black fungus soup but did not help his Xanthelasma. But he has more black hair now and slightly better face complexion May not suitable for people has low blood pressure https://goingfabulous.wordpress.com/2012/09/03/the-black-fungus-soup/

-----Tinea Versicolor Causes and Symptoms------ Most of the cases of tinea versicolor are caused by the fungus, Malassezia globosa, while a few cases are caused by another type of fungus, known as Malassezia furfur. Though these fungi can be found on human skin and they usually do not cause any problem, certain factors can stimulate their overgrowth. Fungus mainly thrives in hot and humid environments. Therefore, factors like, hot and humid weather, excessive sweating and oily skin are some of the risk factors for this fungal skin infection.

Amanda, I have the same issue as winter meets spring. I have learned how to treat the athletes foot fungus (which u r describing) I was advised to wash, dry and important....AIR DRY FOR 10 MINUTES, then a q-tip dipped in Listerine, swipe and let dry, then q-tip again with Vicks vapo rub. I promise you it will clear up in one day. Remember fungus can reoccur when dampness remains between toes so air those dogs out whenever u can lol but seriously, when you feel it begin, Listerine and vapo rub will stop it in its tracks. B blessed friend :)

I have been battling ringworm for over 2 years. I am 20 years old. I haven't been able to wear short sleeve t-shirt or show my arms/legs/back in public. I am covered in it. i cant get rid of it. I put bleach on it several times because bleach kills fungus. Ringworm is a fungus. i cant stand ringworm any more. It is constantly spreading on me. its now covering from about 3 inches over my elbow on my triceps almost to my wrist both arms back (recent ones) my calf, both sides bigger than my palm feet also. I have been using cream, tablets and beach.. no result. if you find any way to get rid of it.. PLEASE email me.

Athlete's Foot has nothing to do with yeast in bread which has been cooked to kill the yeast anyway. There are many different sorts of fungi, edible mushrooms are one of them. They don't cause Athlete's foot either. You would not be able to raise bread with the fungus from Athlete's foot or with edible mushrooms. Try putting your footwear in a large bin liner with an open jam jar containing some cider vinegar, close the bag and leave for 48 hours. This should get rid of the spores of the fungus. Tea tree oil can sometimes help to get rid of Athlete's foot on the skin or the nails, but it has to be used twice daily for some time.

I have had fungal big toenails for years now and I am so embarrassed and disgusted by them they never see the light of day. Part of the problem is that my toenails were ingrown on both sides of the nail, so the nails were curling under and separating from the skin, giving fungus a nice space to grow in underneath. Recently I had 2 wedge resections done (procedure where a surgeon kills the offending part of the nailbed so the nail doesn't grow back), one on each toe on the outer side of the nail. I was very pleased with the result and have had no pain since, although the inner side of both toenails still curls under and I am STILL troubled by fungus. I am not in any discomfort now, I just hate the way they look. I am wondering if it may be a good idea to get a second procedure done on the other side of each toenail, to encourage the plate to grow flat and reattach itself to the skin? Would it work, or would it just look silly, having 2 narrow toenails after this is done? Would a second procedure help get rid of the fungus for good and ensure it doesn't come back? I am so fed up with the embarrassment of fungal nails and the hours spent on pedicures and polish to make them look acceptable, at this point I will try anything.
