I was diagnosed with genital warts last year and have had them frozen off. I've only had 2 small warts but I am concerned about the connection between genital warts and cervical cancer. Am I in more risk of getting cervical cancer as I've had genital warts?
im a man with genital warts what can i do to get them removed
Go and have a smear test done. I had genital warts and when I had my smear test done I had cervical abnormalities. It DOES NOT mean you have cancer, just that there could be some inflammation. I didn't have cancer, and the treatment was simple and painless. In Wales you can have a smear test done from 20, in England it is 25.
Hi. Im 15. I court Genital warts of an older man when i was only 14. But i just wanted to know if they are working on a cure for Genital warts where it can get out of your system for good! Because I have Genital warts im worried incase when im older and i find the right one, he wont want me because what iv got. I have a very low self esteme for the past year and Im really worried for my future.
its a virus so unless medicine progresses amazingly, you're stuck with it. good news is though that your body should clear the virus in a couple of years so you wont have it any more. in the mean time you might want to have a chat with your doctor about smear tests. i have the wart virus and im happily married so its totally possible to find someone awesome. its actually pretty benign as STIs go as long as you keep up to date on your smear tests.
hi in 15 to and there is a cream called somex and it is ment to be very good my friend used it and she said it workd very well and her warts havent come back and its been two years since she has had them i hope this was helpful
can i get genital warts on my face or mouth for going down on my husband with this outbreak that looks like genital warts atleast. He saw a dr today and aparently he said to go to a clinic. Just with in the last 8 months or so ive noticed he had little blister like warts just around the head of his penis... And ive been sleeping with him still, but no sign of them on me.. yet. Very scared. Is it possible my husband had it a long time ago and just now popping up, did he cheat on me recenrly...??
how long does it take for genital warts to appear.. i broke up with my cheating boyfriend about three months ago an only just getting the signs of what might be genital warts... do i very to go to a gum clinic or can i just go docs to be checked?
I have what looks like genital warts just under the head of my penis I'm not sure wether they are genital warts or not. They are just like little Bumps and do not hurt and are not spreading At all. I have had them for about 1 year now. What should I do?
Hi I've had genital warts. If you can go to a clinic and get them assessed, they might not be genital warts. They could be something else normal. It's best to go and get them checked out and then at least you'll know what they are. If they are warts then you can get them treated easily. I found the best treatments to be cryo (freezing) or Podofillotoxin. Trust me though, go and get them diagnosed, it's the best way to know for sure.
My boyfriend has been told he has genital warts so I've to get checked out. I don't have any symptoms so will i have the hpv virus? What do they do to test for genital warts?
they will do a physical exam to see if they can find anything and then a smear test and take a swab that will have to be sent to a lab, you can contract the HPV virus which can carry the disease but doesnt generally mean you will see any warts but means you can give them to others, symptoms can take a long time to show so it doen not mean your boyfriend hasnt been faithful and he probably didnt know himself till lately, unfortunatly we all have a past and these things happen, try not to let it affect your relationship if you have contracted it ( and hopefully you have not) :) good luck
I am 39 weeks pregnant and since 30 weeks I had a recurring outbreak of genital warts , ( I had genital warts 7 years ago) it is my first out break in 7 years ! I've had the warts burned a few times but they won't respond , I only have 2 very small ones on the opening of my vagina ! Am I putting my baby at risk ? (It's my 2nd baby, first was csection due to bp) Thank you
I noticed a wart below my boyfriend's scrotum. We've been together and have been sexually active for over 2 years. We were both prior to to our relationship. Neither of us has been in a situation where we would contract genital warts from anyone. But we have been having sex with each other for a while. Is it possible this is genital warts or just a regular wart? He tells me he's had it since he was very young (he's 19) and he hasn't worried about it because he's always had it. Comments are appreciated.
so i went to the doctor yesterday and they said I had genital warts, I must of got them from my last sexual partner which was a month ago, I am now in a new relationship, and wondered can I give him genital warts through fingering /oral/ and if we use a condom during sex? I havent started Any treatment for them yet, and don't want to tell my new partner about them as I am embarrassed and disgusted! so I'm curious as to having sex but not giving them him! I'm female and 16
I have had genital warts and very stupidly had sexual intercourse my partner for 7months luckily hasnt caught them & probably has the virus i was discusted so didnt tel him either, the best thing to do is go to the sexual health clinic or to your gp they will give you cream or freeze them & try to aviod sexual contact as they can spread easily
The virus can be transferred by skin to skin contact, you dont have to have sex, but condoms help prevent transfer. However, if you're able to be intimate enough to have sex with someone, you should be able to discuss the consequences.
Hi. Im 17 and was diagnosed with Genital Warts at early 14. A few months ago i had Genital Warts treated. They were in a really awkward place. The area what is between the vaginal hole and ur anal. Well I had them frozen. 3 Days later i had sex. Ever since then my skin rips in that same place everytime. I dont know what to do. Iv tried leaving it for a period of time.
