Conditions with symptom: 'growth spurt'
hi, in 24 years old and my penis is still very small like a childs it looks very undeveloped when flaccid i have about a inch of excess foreskin (like image 23 but my penis looks abit smaller ) and when errect im 5 inchs and quite thin, its like have never really finished puberty never got a biggish growth spurt hands are small like a young lads, legs arnt that hairy etc should these growth hormone pills be something i should be looking into? i really need help on this, it has been bothering me for 10 years
I'm 17 and have extremely different sized boobs - 34DD and 34FF, with this large growth spurt they have gone saggy and I feel like crying when I see them in the mirror, do you know if the NHS will let me get breast augmentation or do I have to go private when I'm 18? In desperate need of some help please xx
Hi, i'm 15, i measure as a 30 C and both my breasts are very tender when i don't wear a bra, i get sort of...sharp pains when i move my arms, and they're quite painful to touch. I don't think they're having another growth spurt, because i just had one..please, do you think i should go to the doctors to have them checked for breast cancer?
My breasts are literally non-existant. People think I exaggerate, but without padded bras I look like a child - I am literally flat chested. My nipples are soft and unformed too. I am 24 and the promised growth spurt has never occurred! I am 5ft and 10st too so it's not because I'm underweight. I am scared of surgery, is there anything else I can do? I feel ugly and unfeminine.
if you're seriously feeling so bad then there are bras that let u feel what its like to have bigger boobs, then you can choose surgery or not. To be honest i think that you would look great...society has changed us so much...be more confident in yourself and embrace what you have x
I am 14, nearly 15 and I am generally a young developer. I have no underarm hair and my voice hasn't broken and I haven't had a growth spurt yet. I have pubes on my testicles but not on the area above my penis. When I wank I produce semen and I can get pleasure normally, but my foreskin barely goes past the japseye or hole of the penis. Is this normal? Or is it just because I haven't developed yet. I also only have a 3.5 inch penis. Could this be something do do with it? PLEASE HELP?
My 10 year old daughter has been complaining recently about her labia minora hanging down very low. She says it is uncomfortable to sit or play because she has to fold it back up. Being her father I have not seen this but she describes it to be hanging down 2-3 inches and only on one side. She started her period at 10yr 3 months and is in the midst of a rapid growth spurt. I assured her that it was nothing to worry about but just the uncomfortableness brings her down and I worry about how this will effect her self esteem later on. I took her to the Dr who confirmed this and referred us to a plastic surgeon but is this really a smart choice for a 10 year old girl? I'm just not sure what else to do.
Maybe sit your daughter down and talk to her about it, see what she wants. Talk over the pros and cons of having the surgery. If it is very uncomfortable and painful, I would consider the surgery. I know it sounds scary but in the long run it can benefit her. Just make sure that she knows her vagina is completely normal and is nothing to be ashamed of!
hi im 19. ive had period problems, acn and excess haiir growth all over my body and my doctor recently diagnosed me with pcos. my main problem is thehair growth because ive been on metformin but that has not helped...can you tell me what i could do to slow the hair growth?
Hi. I also suffer from excess hair on my jawline and upper lip. I went to see my doctor who prescribed me a cream called vaniqa. This significantly slows down hair growth, although will not remove it. I found that this worked on my upper lip, although not on my jawline. You wont see a difference until about 6-8 weeks. I think you should give it a go. Make an appointment with your doctor, as this costs a fortune if you buy it over the counter. Hope this helps
I have a lump/growth under my toenail of the big toe at the top right corner of the left foot. It is very tender and is sore all the time. I cannot wear normal shoes as the top of the shoe puts pressure on the area and causes great discomfort. The nail is growing normal from the bed but is raised at a 45 degree angle over the growth. I also have an infection on the other side of the toenails edge as it is being depressed into the flesh causing it to be ingrown. Using fucidin cream on the infection to keep it at bay but not sure what to do for the lump/growth. I keep the free edge of the nail trimmed to below the growth so it does not grow over and at an angle. Doctor said I will have to have the nail removed but that seems a tad drastic. I would like to leave that option as a last resort. Would it be possible to have the lump/growth removed and not the nail or would the nail need to be removed to treat the lump/growth?
i had the same thing at the age of 16, its cause by some sort of trauma to the toe which grows of the bone upwards, the only cure is the have the lump removed which does entaile having the nail removed. its a simple operation which is done with you still awake, they just numb your feet so you can feel anything. i was told that my nail would not grow back but it did and 14 years later i still have a nail. id get it done soon than later or its just going to kep growing
