The head of the penis is supposed to be sensitive, but for adolescent guys who grew up without ever uncovering their head, it can be TOO sensitive, as you have discoverd. Since you are able to retract your foreskin, it would be best for you to continue doing so while urinating and when showering, being sure to wash well under there. By retracting regularly and washing, after a few weeks it shouldn't feel as sensitive.

Hello, I'm curious about some problems I've been having the past 2 weeks. I'm 27 years, male, thin, and not depressed. I had blood/urine tests done, they were fine, they also did ecg, results were fine, but found Thyroid TSH of 5.56, I don't know whats going on and its starting to bother me so much i had to miss work, I never had these symptoms: 1.started with Excessive thirst/dry mouth(confirmed that its not Diabetes with ER doctor, don't have insurance) 2.Feel more tired than usual, don't feel like doing things. Feel exhausted 3.Abdominal Distention (constant slight burps after eating foods/drinking water) 4. Can't concentrate, head feels foggy. 5. Feel hungry much quicker, feel bloated, can feel rumblings in lower abdomen. 5. my stools are not the same, had diarrhea for about 3 days, stool seems to sink/break apart easily and came out in smaller amounts. 6.chills/jerks sometimes 7. Noticed left hand tingling/numbing more often during sleep or on wake up. 8. can't sleep,(every time i fall asleep, something disrupts me, feel like im short of breath, but then i sit up, slightly burp to relieve it, this happens constantly until i go to sleep, around 3am) I appreciate any help or response, I hope this condition i'm having isn't serious...

I have really intense headaches during sex. Most of the time, before I even orgasm, I have really harsh pains in my head, not just aches and it's really painful! It always starts from the bottom left on the back of my head and travels up to the top left of my head. I'm fairly concerned, this has only just started happening and keeps getting worse. Most of the time, even if I manage to get to climax, I'm in so much pain in my head. What exactly is wrong with me?

I masturbate frequently(1-4x a day) and one night i felt this pain. I found a red sore on top, and close to the edge of the head of my penis. I then found two other sores or blisters under the head of my penis. The ones at the bottom hurt more, even running water makes it hurt. Im a vigin but I have received oral sex from my gf. It was her first time so I wasn't concern about STDs or anything. Other than the pain from the sores, the edge of the head hurts as well when I touch it. Prior to the pain and sores, I cleaned around the end of my head(where my foreskin folds up behind the head) with a wet q-tip. Could that be what caused the pain and sores and should I be worried?

Hi, I have white clear spots around the head of the penis and I am worried if it is anything serious. I have had done anal once with 2 people. I also have spots around my testicle, they look like whiteheads but they won't squeeze. They are where the start of my pubic hair is. They occasional itch and it makes it makes my penis go red after.I have scratched them. The spots on the head of the penis are in rows and they are not that big. It looks like they are under the penis head rather than on top of the skin as they can't be squeezed either. Also I have something that looks like cracks in the oenis head. I get stage fright when I go in public toilets because of this and I have to go in the boxed toilet rather than the urinals.

These sound like the following: http://www.channel4embarrassingillnesses.com/conditions/pearly-penile-papules/ I'm 100% sure nothing to worry about. Many men have them and completely normal. Also, the spots around your testicles sound like the hair follicles, again nothing to worry about.

Hi all, i am so glad there are other people out there that understand what's it's like to have to live with this condition.I am 44 and have been living with this for about 15 years.Whilst i have been lucky in the past to have had several 'remission' type periods recently i have noticed my condition is getting alot worse some days i cannot even get a teaspoon of coffee in my cup without it going everywhere! i also suffer with head and neck tremor,I do take propanalol but i am going back to my doctor for a review on my medication and i too like others previously in this thread suffer with head jerks even when i am resting.I am at the moment between jobs and am now worried about going back to work and dealing with interviews etc.Has anyone else noticed feeling tired all the time? i almost feel like my head and neck is almost trying to 'fight' against the shaking.I would love to hear from anyone else living with this condition

Ever heard of 'Jerking'? its a technique where you do a small circle with yor index finger and thumb, and pull the penis from the back right up to the bellend, first day you do 100 jerks, the second day you do 200, then third day 300.. get the flow? right up to the 7th, then start again, it should help the penis grow by at least a inch or two, just thought i should help out after reading some of your comments, :)

Unfortunately, many men think sex sells to US and they spend alot of time working out to the point of self harm and getting hair implants to make themselves look sexy when it doesn't change that they are jerks. Don't worry about your breasts. Alot of guys will think it's cool to touch them and play with different sizes. Plus, the smaller one might catch up.

My friend whom I care for suffers from anxiety disorder and panic attacks. He has been diagnosed with Benign Essential Tremor. Apart from the usual shakes of the hands or body that most people describe with this condition, he has body jerks/jumps. His doctor has ruled out Epilepsy. Has any body with ET experience what he does? Love to hear from you all. Jason.

Hi all, Iv'e had essential tremor for a few years now but was diagnosed August 2012. I was being treated for spondylosis and having Scientific acupuncture that was'nt working so I stopped going to orthopaedic consultant. My neck and arm muscles were killing me and then the shakes got worse, first in left hand and arm, then the right started. Now my head twitches and left leg. I finally got to see a neurologist who said I have got essential tremor. I have got to go for a mri scan sat 2nd feb 2013 as my neurologist said an mri I had previously on my back for spondylosis had shown an abnormality in my brain and that a full head scan was needed as only a small portion of my brain was visible on my last scan. I am taking half inderal (propanolol) 80 mg once a day as prescribed and it has taken away about 50% of the shakes with no side effects to date. One of my main problems is being unable to work as i frequently fall over, am constantly tired but cant sleep, have very bad handwriting and my muscles as said ache so much as to be painfull. I worked in construction and evenings as a doorman which is impossible to do now yet my sick benifit was taken away ! I was told to find alternative employment but honestly, I am incapable now after 40 years of hard work which doe's my head in. I'll return here and report the scan results when I get them to anyone interested. I've been told that here in the UK it could take up to 10 weeks ? All the very best to all and thank's for reading my post. Chris

Hi Jason, I have body jerk's and jumps as you describe. I think the jerk's etc will happen when your friend is under stress or anxious that make's things worse. I assume he is on medication such as Propanolol ? if not why not ? Does he panic when the post arrives ? does he have trouble crossing a road aadajent to a crossroads ? Is he able to manage his own finances ? these things are important through my experience. I am here to help although I am not a Doctor of course. I can only pass on my experience regarding ET through my own experiences my friend. Parkinson's disease has famous people who do a great job promoting their cause and to help mere mortals like us which is really good of them and promotes publicity of course. Muhhamed Ali and Michael J Fox have done a great job. The trouble is Essential Tremor does not have a celebrity to promote what myself and your friend are going through. ET, essential tremor, is embarrasing, dibilitating, non curable and not many people have even heard of it. I have been accused of " christ you must need a drink" are you hung over that bad you are a disgrace. "what kind of Grandfather are you to be in that state" The worde Benign is not used anymore in the medical proffesion, here in the UK anyways. All I can say is, tell your friend to be strong as there is help out there. I am not one to accept councelling but have a great family and 3 great kids. If he does'nt he will need to talk to someone, be it you or whoever. Depends how bad he is ? I'm goiung to be really boring now lol, some mornings I cant get out of bed, cant get dressed without one of my kids helpiong and certaintly cant cook myself a meal. I AM STILL HAPPY I'm 55yo and had a great life my friend. I wish yuour friend well. Chris.

Hi I'm 13 years old and I have the same exact problem as you, sure I won't be doing anything sexual soon, but I'm still very embarrased and self conscious about my future. I don't want to tell my friends or my mom, and I don't want to waste my money on the surgury. By your description my labia is similar to yours and I feel the same way. Unfortunately I don't know what you could do except just staying confident and if anyone tells you you're "ugly" down there them just tell him he's an a**hole and ignore him. I don't think any guy could be shallow enough to say that to you, but there really is jerks like that out there, so I just want to wish you good luck on your future and tell you to be confident instead of hiding and being insecure. I'm sorry if this doesn't help but I hope it kind of does even if I'm younger and probably don't know much.

There's no reason to feel "freaked out" if you have a big adam's apple. The reason adam's apples are so prominent in teens is because of the lack of fat in a teens neck. As a result the adam's apple has a very assuming look. I was a late 13 year old when my voice began to change. I was tall for my age and quite skinny. As a result I had a pretty skinny neck with a bulging adam's apple aboard. The following year my voice fully matured and was unusually deep. Here I was this tall skinny kid with this giant adam's apple and a voice that boomed like a bass fiddle. Some of the kid's in my school thought my adam's apple was cool, and some jerks would poke fun at me. By the time I was 17 my body began to fill out and my humungous apple was masked by the extra body fat. Now I'm an old duck in my late 30's and overweight. That big, old adam's apple of mine is nowhere to be seen unless I tilt my head way back, and still it looks miniscule in comparision to when I was a young kid.

hi, i'm 19 (almost 20) and i've been a tourettes sufferer since i was around 6.. or at least that's my earliest memory of having it.. my tics vary wildly. right now there is; nodding, stomach crunching, jerks in my spine, tensing my arm, humming, whistling, clicking my fingers, popping my lips, and a few more. unfortunately i also suffer from many ocd's, one of which involves prime numbers, so any of my tics MUST be done to a prime number.. it's annoying. but even after all of this, i found a job, and a girlfriend (now my fiance), who also has the same tics. alot of people with tourrettes think it's nigh impossible to find a partner, and i just want to make it known that this is not always the case.

If you are uncircumcised and pee with the skin over the head, you are letting the urine irritate the head of your penis. Try retracting the foreskin every time you urinate, and then make sure you dry around the head of your penis before you roll the foreskin back over the head. When you bathe, make sure to use an unscented soap and make sure to blot the head dry before you let the foreskin cover it. Keeping the head as dry as possible will help. You might want to put a light coat of an antibiotic ointment along the rim after showering too if the redness is the result of a slight bacterial infection.

hmmm it is normal ^^ dont worry.. and u shouldent be ashamed of it. there r meny types of labias and urs is one of them . its normal, so dont worry. i know u probably feel embarrased abt having sex with it, right? well dont be :p there r meny jerks that think only abt sex and yes they would judge ur vagina but u dont need guy like that. u should be with guy that truely loves u then he wouldent give dam how ur vagina looks like . love ur self so others can love u

I'm 15, and I've had an inflamed penis for as long as I can remember. And is seriously affecting my confidence so I NEED to get it sorted. Basically the head of my penis when flaccid is red and patchy, on erect, my foreskin causes discomfort when I retract it under the head. When it Is fully retracted, it stays under the head as my head is extremely inflamed. The head could be described as severely ugly as it is extremely purple, I think i have a form of balanitis, can someone please help?!

John, there are many things that can lead to redness/ soreness on the glans of the penis. Balanitis is not necessarily as a result of sex nor is it a result of bad hygiene. It can be the result of prolonged use of antibiotics being taken for something completely unrelated to the penis because the antibiotics clear away the natural bacteria that cleans the penis thereby enabling the fungus to grow that causes balanitis. Do NOT make the mistake of washing with soap as it will make it worse. You could try using Canesten cream which is an over the counter (or internet) antifungal cream. Your mother may have some because many women use it for thrush. Stronger antifungal creams such as Nystatin require a prescription so you would need to see your GP or ring a Genitourinary clinic (GUC).

hi im 24 and I have a penis where the foreskin covers the head. However when the foreskin is pushed back to reveal the head the head is very sensitive and even touching it can be uncomfortable at times. I often leave the foreskin covering the head when I masterbate. Is this normal??? Is thier anyway of resolving this????

My poor brother in law has what looks likes this condition on his head. He has seen his Dr who keeps giving him antibiotics & told him not to shave his head anymore as the puss was being caused by in grown hair. He is a Taxi driver & is dreading the summer getting here as he wont be able to wear his wooly hat. He is very aware that is head gets so badly infected it smells & having people sat in a car with him makes him very paranoid. He also keeps his head covered as a simple turn of his head can cause he sores to leak puss which his customers are not going to want to see. Thank you very much to your program....You may very well of just given him the answers he has been looking.
