Conditions with symptom: 'inflamed heart'
I am 25 and have been told I have an enlarged heart and my heart murmur has come back. I was born with a heart murmur and was due to have open heart surgery. The consultants told my mum it would close up eventually so felt surgery wasn't needed in the end. I have hospital Thursday to see the consultant. What will they do?
I am 14 and I have suffered from red inflamed spots on my forehead for about 8 - 10 months and they itch and when I put spot cream from my GP on the inflamed area the spots bulge and get reeder. How can I get rid of the acne?
If you have long hair, keep it off your forehead as much as possible AND DO NOT POP THEM! Wash your face twice daily, cut out all junk food and sugary drinks and drink plenty of water. Don't get stressed :) I used to have loads of spots on my face and body but, after a few months of switching up my diet and routine, I only have a few small bacne scars.

Hi, I'm 31 and started having increased palpitations, flutters and pounding heart around 3 months ago. I am a smoker (now reduced) BMI 19 and have 2 children and work full time. Then i started to have short sharp pains just to the left of my sternum. I went to my GP who ordered an ECG which showed a previous heart attack. Since that day my symptoms have not really come back as bad, mainly mild tightness in the left side and palpitations. I did have one day where I came over with a cold shiver my heart was pounding right into my neeck and mouth which was scarey i felt like i would explode, there were some pains to my chest but not the same as the firstvtime. i felt terrible after really dizzy then just tired. A stress test was arranged as I have family history of heart problems at a young age but my stress test was fine, my heart rate was still 108 18 mins into recovery but thats all. So I guess im asking, am I ok? Was the first ECG wrong? If it was, what could be causing this?
Hey, I'm 22, and my tonsils have been inflamed for years, but I have no pain. I have noticed that they have vain like scars all over them and holes where I can squeeze pus out of, (gross I know) I spoke to a doctor and she said it was normal to have the pus and doesn't sound like tonsillitis. I catch tonsillitis frequently, and doctors never suggested having them removed, but they are now scared and constantly inflamed. Should I be concerned?

I had a similiar problem recently, caused me alot of anxiety! Had ekgs done, the whole nine! Believe it or not it turned out to be acid reflux(heart burn)...try going to a gastroenterologist and have him or her examine you!
Could be related to smoking if you do.
When my boyfriend was young he had an undescended testicle and had an operation to cure this. Since then his scar on his testicle has inflamed, it looks a little bit like a skin tag but is about 2cm in length and 2cm from the testicle. He won't go to the doctor's about this, but we're both worried it could be something other than an inflamed scar. Could this lead to health problems? or could this be something severe? Will this problem affect fertility?
hi im 16, i think a have panic attacks i went to the doctors and he put a heart monitor on me but i dont think theres anyting wrong with my heart because i have reaserched my symptoms and it matches up to panic attacks they make me feel soo depressed and i cant breath and my heart feels like some one is crushing it and wont stop. they make me feel really down and i have self harmed and even considerd taking my life i dont have any reasons for this but im scared if a dont do something about these feelings i might go too far
are you depressed as this sometimes brings on attacks ask your doc about anti depressents. its not a nice feeling i know!
Hi i know it sounds daft me saying this but try not to worry about your heart beating fast because it will only make it beat faster. if the doctor says your heart is fine, trust them they know what they are on about. i have suffered from panic attacks and anxiety for 3 years now and its really awful to live with, but the bit of advice i can give you is to take up some kind of exercise such as jogging or the gym or swimming because it really helps, it releases feel good chemicals into your brain, give yourself a hobby because it takes your mind off whatever is worrying you. i started going the gym twice a week and it as done me a world of good. dont think of taking your life think of how upset your family would be you can get through this and remember your not on your own thousands of people have this problem you have x x x
