I have a small lump on left side of scrotum. It hurts when I touch/squeeze it. Standing up for 5 min results in throbbing pain. Lying down with my scrotum a little elevated makes the pain die out. I'm 21 years old BTW. what is it? Also before there was lump, I get a pain in my scrotum after sneezing. Frequently. Like 3/5 sneezes, pain occurs in my scrotum.

Im 18 and i have small white spots that cover my scrotum, and are now climbing the shaft of my penis. On the scrotum especially, they seem to have hairs protruding from the centre of them.

i have several on my scrotum they are small cysts and apparently harmless

I started with 1 or 2 that on occasion could be squeezed like a spot. I now have about 20 ranging in size, some that can be squeezed. From what i'm guessing these are infected hair folicals but not sure. i'm 31 and had these for about 5 years!

I am 14 and I have suffered from red inflamed spots on my forehead for about 8 - 10 months and they itch and when I put spot cream from my GP on the inflamed area the spots bulge and get reeder. How can I get rid of the acne?

If you have long hair, keep it off your forehead as much as possible AND DO NOT POP THEM! Wash your face twice daily, cut out all junk food and sugary drinks and drink plenty of water. Don't get stressed :) I used to have loads of spots on my face and body but, after a few months of switching up my diet and routine, I only have a few small bacne scars.

Hey, I'm 22, and my tonsils have been inflamed for years, but I have no pain. I have noticed that they have vain like scars all over them and holes where I can squeeze pus out of, (gross I know) I spoke to a doctor and she said it was normal to have the pus and doesn't sound like tonsillitis. I catch tonsillitis frequently, and doctors never suggested having them removed, but they are now scared and constantly inflamed. Should I be concerned?

Hi! I have a couple of small grit like lumps around my scrotum, a couple on the base of the scrotum and a couple to the right in between my penis and scrotum. I had them checked when I was at the gum clinic and they said there was nothing to worry about and it was a fructose gland or something but I'm pretty sure they couldn't even feel it as sometimes its hard to feel. Soon after I noticed the other grit type lump on the right so assume this can't be the fructose gland or whatever they called it as it was not symmetrical and there was more than 2! What could this be and should I be worried? It doesn't hurt at all and doesn't appear to be attached to the testicles.

In my testicles the is a very small solid lump like a cyst but it is not on my actual testicle its on what i think is the chord coming of the scrotum, i wondered whether you can get cancerous lumps just on the scrotum or if they can also occur on other areas such as the chord? should i be worried?

When my boyfriend was young he had an undescended testicle and had an operation to cure this. Since then his scar on his testicle has inflamed, it looks a little bit like a skin tag but is about 2cm in length and 2cm from the testicle. He won't go to the doctor's about this, but we're both worried it could be something other than an inflamed scar. Could this lead to health problems? or could this be something severe? Will this problem affect fertility?

Hi Jim! Yes I've stopped using the cream. I put aqua moisturizer when it gets really bad. Also I forgot to add that it sometimes goes really cold, I get tingling in the scrotum,I've got huge inflamed vein on right side of penis and lot of smaller ones as well though not anywhere near as large as the others.

i am 14 and have recently noticed that there is dry skin on my scrotum. i did use shampoo as a lubricant a few days ago and i heard that may be the cause. however after my shower today, because of the problem i used body wash on my scrotum and underneath my foreskin. however when dry i went to examine my penis and scrotum and discovred that the problem haddn't gone. In fact my penis head's skin was now also very dry along with my scrotum. I dont know what to do, i am very worried. Can someone please help!

Ive noticed some small fleshy lumps on my penis and scrotum. They are in clusters on the scrotum but sparse on the penis. Hair appears to be growing out of some on the scrotum. I have never had sex but do masterbate and i used to have warts on my hands. Is it possible to pass them on to the genitals?

I am a 56 year old male. I fathered two children and then had a vasectomy at the age of 24. When my scrotum is relaxed, after a hot shower, my right testicle does not hang down in the scrotum sac. The left one seems to be fine as it drops down in the scrotum sac. It appears I only have one testicle and looks very odd and deformed. Is this normal or do I need to have it checked out?

I have white hard lumps all over my scrotum and I've had them for as long as I can remember, some are really small and hardly noticeable, there are 3 that are grouped together on my scrotum, which is worrying me. They are painless but hurt if a lot of pressure is applied, then I have a white lump the size of a garden pea on the right side of my scrotum, I'm so embarrassed and ashamed about them. What should I do?

Im not sure if this is normal but for the past week, I have noticed that when I have an erection, my scrotum shrinks and my testicles seem to go out of the scrotum and underneath. I was wondering if this is normal. Also, my right testicle seems to move and it sometimes moves slightly out of the scrotum. Is this normal?

You could have a retractile testicle but the web can't do a diagnosis, could you book an appointment with an andrologist ASAP?

Go to your GP and say that it keeps changing in size and getting very inflamed (red) and painful. They have to remove it then and do a Histopathology on it to ensure it isn't cancer. I have had 10+ Sebaceous Cysts removed over the past 20 years (with varying degrees of scarring/success) unfortunately some people are just prone to them. The one's on my scrotum never seem to change much, whilst the one's on my neck back and face invariably get infected and need removal.

A lump (less than the size of a pea) inside my scrotum. It is not actually on my testicle however it does seem as though it is attached to a string which i am guessing is the epididymis. It is almost like this lump is 'floating about' within my scrotum. It only becomes painful when i feel for it and or squeeze it. Could this just be a cyst or is it possible for a cancerous lump to appear within the scrotum but not be attached to a testicle. Also, the epididymis on this side of my scrotum is ever so slightly larger than the one on the opposite side. Could you confirm if this is normal?

I'm 14 and in my scrotum area I have a big collection of lumps on my left side of the scrotum , I read up saying if it's cancerous it would be on my testicle and not in my scrotum , on my testicles there's no bumps or anything just the outside on the "sack" there's a huge amount of lumps and I really don't know what it is ! I also have these really small dots all over my penis that are growing more and more every week , they're small and can't squeeze them or anything just round balls you can feel.. I hope I was specific enough. I'm too embarrassed to go to my doctor and really need to know if this is serious or not.

I think I understand now. As long as your testicles (balls) are in the (scrotum)sack, there's nothing to worry about. The scrotum responds to differences in temperature - when hot or warm, it will be loose and your balls will hang low; when cold or cool it will pull your balls up tightly against your body to keep them warm. The scrotum does this to keep your sperm at a fairly constant temperature. If your sperm gets too hot then it won't make any babies.

Hey I'm 24 and for the past how many years I don't know to be precise, I've had pain in my scrotum and balls, my scrotum goes so tight and feels hard at times, it just constantly makes me feel sick. It goes that tight at times it looks like there isn't even a scrotum there, I've told a doctor and his told me it's normal in some men, but the pain I've gone through over so many years now just can't be right, any advice help would be great

Please help, he won't go to the doctors about it and i would prefer to know if there is any major risks.

My scrotum feels cold and wet, when I sit down I get a burning sensation around the scrotum. Also when I squeeze the tip of my penis it leaves a pale finger print then goes back to Normal colour? It's like the genital area is unwell that's the only way to explain it.

As you are only 13, your scrotum and testicles will still be changing for a good few years yet. For example your testicles may grow and fill your scrotum. But if you are still worried go see your GP for reassurance
