can warts on your hand/fingers be transfered to your genitals or to another persons genitals?
No, because that is the different type of a HPV virus.
I've got a rash on my inner thigh just on each side of my genitals. I've had this for over 10years. Doctors don't know what it is. When it get really irritated I scratch them to the point of them bleeding. Steroid creams don't seem to help, only thing that gets to to subside is to leave it alone but sometimes it's too itchy.
That sounds like jock itch. I've had it for the past week except it has also spread to my scrotum. If it is, you can get some Lamisil anti-fungal cream to get rid of it.
I think me and my boyfriend had what's referred to as 'dry sex'. He lay on top of me and then I lay on top of him, close to our genitals. Then we sat with our legs between each others so aain our genitals were close. I was ovulating at the time. However he always kept his boxers on with sim shorts over the top and I always had a pair of bikini bottoms on. Could I be pregnant?
No. There is no possible way you could be pregnant if he didn't produce any sperm :) You're in the clear! :)
I am 14 year old guy and i shave my genitals weekly, however doing this has given me spots, How can i keep shaving my genitals without getting spots ?
The spots are just irritation from the blade. Usually having damp skin, such as after a shower can help stop this. Also some balms Such as Nivea after shaving balm is useful cos this is what i use. Just don't put too much on or it will not sink in and it just leaves a mess....
My wee boy has had molluscum for almost 2 years. It is entirely confined to his genitals and constantly flared up to huge inflamed abcess like infections. He is only 4 so squeezing is out of the question. I dont want to create a stigma around his genitals for starting school either. Ive tried, Aloe vera, tea tree, fucidin ointment, silver spray and betamethasone cream. Help?
Hello yes we ordered zymaderm from off the internet, my 3 sons all had it and my youngest being 3 couldn't squeeze. Anyway it was only about £20 and it was brilliant you had to put it on everyday but keep up with it as you could see them shrink to nothing. Every thing will be back to normally and your boy will be happy!
I was wondering If a plantar wart can be spread from the bottom of the foot to the genitals or to in and around the mouth? If so, do you then get the same type of wart on the genitals or in and around the mouth? Treatable in the same way? Thanks
A couple of years ago a rash under my breast flared up, and the doctor said it could be herpes. I had only ever given oral sex and so did not think this could be true. After this went away, I began to get symptoms of herpes on my genitals. It gets hot and itchy and a rash occurs often when stressed. Could it be Herpes and what do I do? I'm scared to go to the doctor!
Hi, last September my right labia began swelling. No Pain or itching occured but it looked very nasty. The doctor prescribed Antibiotics and the swelling settled down, however the right labia plus the surrounding tissue has been itchy and red since then and now it feels like a secondry infection has happened. Infact the itching is so severe that the skin has broken and then rehealed so many times that im wondering if im making the probelm worse by sctratching it. I have used Thrush creams...which have worked but have not erradicated the syptoms completely. This infection has not spread to other parts of my genitals and I am worried that it could affect my partner and I trying for a Baby...can you help?

Since my last post and with no further joy in remedying my problem I took the decision to get myself tested at the GUM clinic. They tested for every STI there is. To my relief they all came back negative. I am adding to my post today as im hopeing i can help others in this situation. The doctor checked my genitals and advised it to be eczema. Having never had this before i was sceptical..however after 3 days using the hydrocortisone cream, my symptoms have all but cleared and there is no more itchy nights or pain after sex!!!!
help me please.I am 15 years of age,a female.I have never had sexual intercourse with a person before but yet I have multiple things going on by my genitals.1 being that my vulva is really long it can sometimes be annoying becauee it would be hanging out and it would be sc A Rping on my pants when i walk which causes me discomfort,Idon't think that that is normal. Is that going to affect me later in life and in a relationship? 2 being that on both my vulvas I have these very small boils on them they are in clusters ALlL OVER my vulva:(. They are not painful they aren't really itchy. They just lay there. I have it for years probaly bout a year or half a year when I first started period, I stayed my period at 8 but then 2 months away was my Bay so class it has 9.. When it first started it was just a couple and they were tingly and a little bit itchy. I thought it would go away so I left it and now they have gotten bigger all over. I told my mother about it before but that was a while back. I decided to tell her again the Other day because I was watching this show on women's health and they did mention that we should keep an eye on what goes down down there and that we should get it checked out before it gets worse. When I told my mom she requested to see I was a little embarrsed at first but I trusted her because she is a nurse. She reacted differently to what I expected. She was shocked at how my vulva was long and concerned she also was speechless when she saw the bumps. She told me that in all get years of experience she had never seen thinglike that:(with such a long vulva. But now she keeps suspecting I'm sexually active when I don't even have a Partner:(. Please help me, give me advice on how to resolve my embarrassing condition:( thank you.
Long labia are normal and bumps are normal. They are glands. You should talk to someone other than your mom because it seems like she is paranoid, suspicious and into shaming you. Not a fun person to talk about one's privates with. Go to a nice female gyno and have a chat. Even if there is nothing wrong with you (and I don't think there is), talking to a gyno well before becoming sexually active is something everyone should do. Tell your mom you need to go because your mom said you had abnormal genitalia (which you don't, but feel free to use your mom's words against her in this case, she deserves it for shaming you and making you feel bad about your body when her job both professionally as a nurse and privately as a mom is to support you). If she really thought there was a problem with your bits she'd have taken you to the doc herself. You have the perfect excuse to go.
