I have this weird issue with my labia majoras! I have searched the internet so many times for so long but cant find a similar issue as i am too embarrassed to go to a dr. So my labia majoras are extremely itchy (specially during hot weather) and i feel sore and my labias are kinda chapped and so everytime im having florescent green stains on my knickers not like the usual discharges our vaginas produce but the stains are from my groin (itchy groin as well again specially during hot weather) but the discharge is from my groin and from the labia majoras (basically external discharge rather than internal) i have been using caneston kinda relieves itching and discomfort for a little while but im fed up and so insecure and too embarrassed to go to dr.s! P.s im a 24 year old virgin never been sexually active!

This sounds like it could be a fungal infection caused by Candida (the fungus responsible for thrush). I saw my GP today for exactly the same symptoms and this is what she diagnosed. She gave me some cream (Canesten HC) to use which combines an antifungal and a mild steroid to reduce the inflammation and itching. You should go and see your GP or other Healthcare Professional to get a definite diagnosis.

my pubic area is ever so itchy and so is my partner,he constantly scratches his groin and testicle are.should i be worried?

Definitely. Itchy. NOT GOOD. Beware of bumps

check the area for tiny black dots. if you have them then basically you've got crabs. if not and you've got a very thick discharge then you both have thrush and both need to be treated. go to a doctor.

I have red spots that look like itchy bites that appear daily anywhere on my body, legs, arms, groin, tummy, bottom, eye lids, neck etc... they disappear by the end of the day and then reappear the next morning but in completely different places, some mornings there are more than others, they are a bit itchy but not insanely itchy, and sometimes they are in a round shape with white in the middle but mostly just red spots. I can't see any bite marks on them. I can't figure out what they are it's driving me crazy, the doctor just thinks they're bites. I have searched for bed bugs in my mattress and haven't found anything, have insect bombed our house twice & vacuumed the house & mattress & washed all blankets in hot water etc... and I'm still getting them. Also I'm the only one in the house getting them. Does anyone know what they could be??

Im not a doctor.. if the rash isn't there all the time but when it is it gets worst when your hot , it could be a heat rash.. Ive had this when i was younger teens - late 20's i use to take a anti-histamine ( hay fever tablet ) or use a anti-histamine cream. Could also be Jock itch which is a fungal infection. again you can buy creams / spray for that. I would suggest seeing a different doctor as get another opinion.

Hi do go see your GP. I was 39 and had same symptoms and for 6 months or more suffered with groin pain and change in my periods. Eventually after different GPs in the practice had given me several internal examinations saying they couldn't find anything wrong despite having a yellow discharge! I had a hospital scan which reported back as nothing wrong. I went privately because I was feeling so ill. I was taken into private hospital immediately where they had to perform a full hysterectomy - I had a pelvic abbess! It had burst and infected my ovaries, womb and bladder! So don't take know for an answer get it checked out thoroughly! Best Wishes.

Hi my name is Ahmed. I am 14 years old.I have much pain in my groin area and penis. There is also a tiny lump on my groin. Please help. Is it a cancer or else.

No cure just management at this stage. Get a referral for a skin specialist for more expertise in this field then the General Practioner. Read some of the feedback on this forum for hints you may use to help your self. Get your blood tests done, to check any thing there out of the ordinary. Have swabs done when wounds appear, to see what bacteria may have formed and then the correct medication to combat the bacteria. My daughter same boat, has been mentioned that possibly going on the pill may assist her.. Have not tried yet as her condition has stable off last 12 months. She has lost weight, keep area dry and patted down with baby talcum powder, or try rash powder (curash) to alleviate friction. When wounds open up and weep, try to clean out as soon as poss. She lightly pushes around area to push out the excess, though painful, apply wadding and press down to soak up more excess, cover over till dries somewhat and then applied antifungal cream on a gauze when wound is small. Do not use cream on when its huge, open or weeping excessively. This is not a cure, as none yet available. She tries combating via cleaning out as soon as possible, and tackle them before they go chronic,so down time is not as long and scarring not as big/bad. You got to find what works for you. Dont let it get you down, that is the important bit...Try and control it best you can dont let it control you. You are not alone on this boat.. Take care

I have tried a spray on oil that helps minimise scars. I tried it on my arm pits and it does work. They don't dissapear by any means. But I had all the uneven skin where I had a huge open wound and my skin has sort of - folded back on itself. Anyway, I tried this oil on this scar/sore, and it did work a little. Still not a pretty sight, but if I keep using it I think it would improve even more.. It's called Inoxa Skin Tissue Oil. It didn't sting like the other remedies that claim to minimise scars. http://www.innoxa.com.au/product/125011/innoxa-sos-skin-tissue-oil-150ml

I have had a bad allergic reaction after shaving under arms, legs and groin area. ended up covered in a red, angry and unbearably itchy rash which covered arms, legs, groin, bottom. seemed to be a reaction to gel strip on razor, but have had real problems finding alternative razors, minus the gel strip. Has now been a month, and had steroid creams, moisturisers, antihistimmines and alternative shower emolients. Still have rash, still very itchy. Could this be linked to food allergies?? Have those too!! And Hay Fever!! How long will this take to get better, nothing seems to be helping!

I just want the itch to go away on the groin it is extremely agrivating. Please help in any way thanks.

It occurs both sides of the groin area and also in the undercarriage. I find it goes away when I have a bath however once out of the bath and dryed it can become very itchy. I have started to use a moistureiser and have also used eurax cream to no avail.

Not from shaving??? Changed washing products either body or clothes?? Has your partner same issue?? Go and see a GP, before its spreads and get a skin test, if it weeps, get a swab, and tested also..

When I was 22 I had some red itchy spots come up on my hands. I was prescribed with Betnovate N cream. The spots disappeared but two weeks later the skin on my hands started to shed at a rate greater than is normal Psoriasis. The condition spread to my elbows, knees head and groin. My eyes were very enlarged. I put up with the problem for another 22 years. My wife encouraged me to join Reading Swimming Club. After 6 Months of hard traing (5 times a week) my elbows, head, hands cleared up. My eyes returned to normal size. My groin cleared after another year. I took up running as well. Only when I Stopped competing 5 years ago did the psoriasis return only to my left side of my groin. Now approching my 66th Year I have commenced running again and more recently swimming. I am hoping the groin will get better. I think that the hard training triggered a reaction that helped get rid of the stress in my life and improved my self confidence. I will let you know if my new program works on the groin. I never hear anyone suggesting hard excercise especially swimming as a possible solution. Only creams and moisturisers. I enjoy your program very much John

I have a rash in the folds of my skin, I use to havr it under my shoulder blade, which cleared up and now I have it much more severely in the folds of my groin area at the top Of my legs. Also around the top of legs in the groin area, it is very dry and a pinky red colour. When seeing my GP on numerous occasions he said it was a bacterial rash and that I will never get rid of it an treats me with internal medication of pills to control my Bactria levels. However he sad if I went bak again He would refer me to a Skin specialist but it is forever persisting and I want to know possible causes to prevent this rather than just deal with the side effect? It is itchy and affects my confidence, anything you recommend?

I too suffer exactly the same, any advice/cure would be a very big relief!

I suffered from this for two months before doing a quick google search and finding out i had dhobie itch - a fungal infection, the same as athlete's foot but in the groin. I went to the chemist, said I had athletes foot (too embarrassed!) and checked on the box that the anti-fungal cream was suitable for dhobie itch. It was gone within days!

I have a very red, imflammed vagina with lots of discharge slightly white in colour! I had thrush when I was pregnant that healed in a week, then 5 months after giving birth I had a mirena coil fitted. Since then I have had this issue!! Very sory, itchy and lots of discharge! AND because I can not help but scratch to relieve it, I have now ended up with what looks like raw skin on the folds of my vagina where my groin area would be as well as the skin between my bottom and vagina opening! Incredibly sore and itchy!!! What could this be?
