Conditions with symptom: 'itchy groin'
I have this weird issue with my labia majoras! I have searched the internet so many times for so long but cant find a similar issue as i am too embarrassed to go to a dr. So my labia majoras are extremely itchy (specially during hot weather) and i feel sore and my labias are kinda chapped and so everytime im having florescent green stains on my knickers not like the usual discharges our vaginas produce but the stains are from my groin (itchy groin as well again specially during hot weather) but the discharge is from my groin and from the labia majoras (basically external discharge rather than internal) i have been using caneston kinda relieves itching and discomfort for a little while but im fed up and so insecure and too embarrassed to go to dr.s! P.s im a 24 year old virgin never been sexually active!
I have really red, dry, itchy skin on the insides of my legs around the groin and lower scrotum, ive had it for around 2years now, some times its really itchy and sore and the hotter/sweatier i get the worse it gets, every time i have a bath it makes it itch like mad while im in the bath and for a few hours after
This sounds like it could be a fungal infection caused by Candida (the fungus responsible for thrush). I saw my GP today for exactly the same symptoms and this is what she diagnosed. She gave me some cream (Canesten HC) to use which combines an antifungal and a mild steroid to reduce the inflammation and itching. You should go and see your GP or other Healthcare Professional to get a definite diagnosis.
my pubic area is ever so itchy and so is my partner,he constantly scratches his groin and testicle are.should i be worried?
Definitely. Itchy. NOT GOOD. Beware of bumps
check the area for tiny black dots. if you have them then basically you've got crabs. if not and you've got a very thick discharge then you both have thrush and both need to be treated. go to a doctor.
I have red spots that look like itchy bites that appear daily anywhere on my body, legs, arms, groin, tummy, bottom, eye lids, neck etc... they disappear by the end of the day and then reappear the next morning but in completely different places, some mornings there are more than others, they are a bit itchy but not insanely itchy, and sometimes they are in a round shape with white in the middle but mostly just red spots. I can't see any bite marks on them. I can't figure out what they are it's driving me crazy, the doctor just thinks they're bites. I have searched for bed bugs in my mattress and haven't found anything, have insect bombed our house twice & vacuumed the house & mattress & washed all blankets in hot water etc... and I'm still getting them. Also I'm the only one in the house getting them. Does anyone know what they could be??
I would get the doctor to do an allergy test.
I get rashes around my groin area and they get itchy especially when it gets hot.I went to a physician and he told me its folliculitis and gave me a remedy but its still persistence.Kindly advice
Im not a doctor.. if the rash isn't there all the time but when it is it gets worst when your hot , it could be a heat rash.. Ive had this when i was younger teens - late 20's i use to take a anti-histamine ( hay fever tablet ) or use a anti-histamine cream. Could also be Jock itch which is a fungal infection. again you can buy creams / spray for that. I would suggest seeing a different doctor as get another opinion.
hi i'm 39, basically any time pre-cum or semen is present i end up with an itchy rash & flacky skin rubbings on my penis end, i also have pains in my right groin every day. any suggestions

Hi iam a 37 female Iam having very short periods and i am getting bad groin pain in either sie of my groin? could this be the start of the menopause? could you help me. thanks
Hi do go see your GP. I was 39 and had same symptoms and for 6 months or more suffered with groin pain and change in my periods. Eventually after different GPs in the practice had given me several internal examinations saying they couldn't find anything wrong despite having a yellow discharge! I had a hospital scan which reported back as nothing wrong. I went privately because I was feeling so ill. I was taken into private hospital immediately where they had to perform a full hysterectomy - I had a pelvic abbess! It had burst and infected my ovaries, womb and bladder! So don't take know for an answer get it checked out thoroughly! Best Wishes.
Hi my name is Ahmed. I am 14 years old.I have much pain in my groin area and penis. There is also a tiny lump on my groin. Please help. Is it a cancer or else.
Hi. Im 16 and have suffered from HS for two years now. I have had various treatments for this but nothing seems to be working. It causes me awful pain and sometimes when they appear in my groin i cannot walk properly. They appear in my groin and on my bum. The scarring is also quite bad too. Is there anything i can try to help this?
No cure just management at this stage. Get a referral for a skin specialist for more expertise in this field then the General Practioner. Read some of the feedback on this forum for hints you may use to help your self. Get your blood tests done, to check any thing there out of the ordinary. Have swabs done when wounds appear, to see what bacteria may have formed and then the correct medication to combat the bacteria. My daughter same boat, has been mentioned that possibly going on the pill may assist her.. Have not tried yet as her condition has stable off last 12 months. She has lost weight, keep area dry and patted down with baby talcum powder, or try rash powder (curash) to alleviate friction. When wounds open up and weep, try to clean out as soon as poss. She lightly pushes around area to push out the excess, though painful, apply wadding and press down to soak up more excess, cover over till dries somewhat and then applied antifungal cream on a gauze when wound is small. Do not use cream on when its huge, open or weeping excessively. This is not a cure, as none yet available. She tries combating via cleaning out as soon as possible, and tackle them before they go chronic,so down time is not as long and scarring not as big/bad. You got to find what works for you. Dont let it get you down, that is the important bit...Try and control it best you can dont let it control you. You are not alone on this boat.. Take care
I have tried a spray on oil that helps minimise scars. I tried it on my arm pits and it does work. They don't dissapear by any means. But I had all the uneven skin where I had a huge open wound and my skin has sort of - folded back on itself. Anyway, I tried this oil on this scar/sore, and it did work a little. Still not a pretty sight, but if I keep using it I think it would improve even more.. It's called Inoxa Skin Tissue Oil. It didn't sting like the other remedies that claim to minimise scars. http://www.innoxa.com.au/product/125011/innoxa-sos-skin-tissue-oil-150ml
