I'm 20 and over the Past few weeks my left breast has been itchy like mad. There's no dry skin or anything it's just constantly itchy and i feel itchy under the skin too. I scratch it and I've made my skin bleed a very small amount. I sometimes get like a sudden sharp pain too. Any advice? I've tried over the counter creams but they don't help.

That's normal, it happens to a lot of girls around that part of the month. Don't scratch if you can help it, and if you can go bra less or wear a more comfortable bra then do that. If your worried, see a doctor. My doctor suggests ibuprofen, it calms your hormones or something, can't remember.

Hi there, I'm 16, never had intercourse, and I have had eczema in the past, a couple years ago eczema used to manifest its self during the winter on my joints such as arms and legs. However, recently it has gone away, but in my genital area, parts of my skin has started to become red, cracked, itchy, and on the sack, quite flaky. When the skin flakes off, the patch of skin swells slightly, goes red and some form of liquid is coming out as well, it's completely transparent, and not a lot comes out. Only a tiny amount in say, about 10 minutes, then it stops, and just becomes very itchy. I do masturbate daily, would it help if I stopped for a while, or if there's anything else I could try? Thanks

You need to talk to your doctor. They might refer you to a urologist or dermatologist. This certainly isn't normal and it sounds like it really bothers you so get it sorted! It might be embarrassing for a few minutes but that is FAR better than suffering for years!

For nearly two years I have been living with a very serious skin condition. I am a 15 year old teenager so it does concern me and bringd down a lot of my confidence, its all patchy, lumpy, red, itchy and very dry skin, I have no idea what it is, as when I go doctors which has been over 10 times for the same reason they seem to never know what it is. They've given me antibiotics and cream and it goes then 3 weeks later it will come back up and its starting to get more and more worse as its forming in more places around my face. I have been using aveeno cream and double bas gel cream and that soothes the red patching itchy bits for over an hour but now I have no I dea what to do. Please help..

They aren't painful or itchy but sometimes i notice a little bit of blood on the toilet roll and i don't go to the toilet that much (around twice a week). I'm pretty sure they are haemorrhoids but not sure if they are internal or external. i also have a small skin coloured lump a bit above my anus which isn't painful or itchy or anything, does it sound like a skin tag?? please help.

Hi. I have suffered for about 2 years now with dry skin on my penis, I am circumcised and the dry skin seems to be on the head of my penis and around the left side of the pulled back skin. This can get itchy and sometimes break the skin making it quite sore aswell as being embaressing. I have been to see different doctors and a dermatologist, I have been prescribed several steroid creams, e45, immolients, I have also used moisturisers, witch hazel, also putting products in my baths etc. Having the steroid creams several times has started to just ruin my skin and is getting a bit OTT now. Someone help with what I can do???

This sounds like it could be a fungal infection caused by Candida (the fungus responsible for thrush). I saw my GP today for exactly the same symptoms and this is what she diagnosed. She gave me some cream (Canesten HC) to use which combines an antifungal and a mild steroid to reduce the inflammation and itching. You should go and see your GP or other Healthcare Professional to get a definite diagnosis.

if its only sometimes then yes, you can get itchy anywhere you have skin. if its itchy and you have a very thick white discharge then you probably have thrush, if its itchy and the skin is white around your outer labia at top then you need to go to doctor and ask for some variety of steroid cream. if it only itches when you're wearing synthetic underwear then switch to cotton and if its only itchy after you've had a shower or bath then you need to switch shower gels.

Can someone be allergic to another person? It seems like my boyfriend is allergic to me. When he has his arm around me his arm will start to get itchy. His skin has started coming out in dry patches and is itchy but calms down if he doesn't see me for a while. We have been to a dermatologist who did patch tests on him and found he is not allergic to any products I am using. Noone seems to know what would be causing this and it is really affecting our relationship. Does anyone have any ideas about what could be causing this? I have dry itchy skin too and have had it looked at by my GP who says my skin problem is not a contagious one. Any suggestions would be greatly received!!!

Have you tried any fruit based shampoos? My nan looks after me and I always used Head and shoulders but when my condition spiked up about 6 months ago I switched to herbal essence and it started to get a lot better

Localised on the tops of my feet near the toes, a rash has appeared. It developed in about 4 hours and for about 2 days has now been very itchy. They are red, slightly raised above normal skin, and seem to be madly itchy for an hour, then die down for another, and then repeat. There are about 40 to 50 of these on my feet. I have had this only once before about seven months ago, but this time being worse I thought I don't want this to happen again, and so find out what is causing these little itchy red spots. Lastly, only where the rash is, the skin feels extremely warm, and is very strange indeed. Please help!

Hi, around three months ago I noticed a dry patch on my nipple. It was itchy and subsided a bit, now it has spread and is still itchy and my skin has changed to a lighter colour on the itchy patches. It is only on the one breast and I've been putting cream on it, but still have it. Some days I feel like scratching it all the time. It's quite embarrassing.

I have been suffering a skin condition for 4 years now but no doctor, nurse or hospital skin specialist seems to know what it is. This skin condition is ruining my life. It started out like little White itchy dots under the skin on the bottoms of my legs, my hands & arms & progressed into big red itchy bleeding spots & around the shin areas there are lots of bumps under the skin also. The doctors have given me numerous steroid creams & moisturising creams but these have not helped whatsoever apart from make my skin really thin & bleed more. Someone suggested using sincere, which as a last resort I did, & after constant use I started to see the skin condition get better. When I stop using the sunbed I aback to square 1 again. Every year around feb time it comes out worse than ever but usually only the bottoms of my legs, now it has spread to my stomach, chest, thighs & arms. This is really depressing me as I am no further forward than I was 4 years ago. I really need help for this, any ideas please?????

I had exactly the same and after 14 months the doctor didn't know what was wrong. I was then diagnosed as being anaemic and given ferrous fermarate. Two months later the rash and itching went away, but we didn't initially link the two conditions. In February this year the symptoms returned and when they checked my ferratin levels again they were only 7 after been on ferrous fermate again for a month all other symptoms have gone. I am no longer taking antihistamines but will be on iron long term but if it helps the skin I don't mind.

I have an itchy square of skin on the top of one foot. There is nothing to see at all but it is frantically itchy. Any suggestions what this could be or a remedy? I have used Lanacane.
