I have had my bones in my toes (next to big toe) pinned a few times to straighten them when I was younger which failed to work leaving the toes still overlapping. Every year especially during the summer months I suffer with my toes constantly rubbing causing blisters. Is it possibly to get toes removed privately and still have full function ie walking running?? Rob

I have the same problem as well

My feet sweat a lot even without socks on an they get really red and swollen which sometimes stops me from walking around, my toes peel as a result because they crack and the dead skin peels, the side of my toe nails are yellow looking and you can pull the side of my toe an get a nail file down the side of my toes on both big toes Which results in my sock 'fluff' getting trapped down there and putting more pressure on my toes.

I had chilblains about five years ago on my toes. But after that winter they stopped itching. My toes are still swollen and red from the chilblains, they don't itch or hurt like chilblains anymore but they look horrible. One or two of my toes are twice the size that they were before, is there anything I can do to make my toes normal size?

My big toes are bent towards my other toes and sometimes can be quite sore when wearing shoes. I never show my feet as I find them really embarrassing, I am sick of having to hide my feet and would like to wear sandals some day. I was wondering if there was any type of surgery to straighten my toes or is there anything I can do?

Can you help me please? I have really horrible feet. My toes are very long, my 2nd toe is bigger than the first and my 3rd is even bigger than the 2nd. I'm a 25 year old woman and never ever show my feet in public. I find that my feet pain when wearing shoes as my toes do not form the right shape for them. It's horrendous in summer as it is so hot and I have to wear shoes that cover my feet completely. Is there anything that can be done? Can this be corrected so my toes are the normal size?

I get really itchy inbetween my toes, particularly at night (as someone else said above just about you're about to go to sleep!) I try to wash & dry them thoroughly but even just drying inbetween the toes starts off a major ithing/scratching session!! It's mostly between the toes (sometimes ust underneath too), not white like the pic on the site tho - Is this athlete's foot?!

Hello, I am 22 yrs old and I have got quiet bad circulation..my hands and feet are constantly cold..even in the summer time (unless in very hot country)! The worst is when I try to shower my toes becoming very red and itchy, but not my hands. After shower my toes are red, especially there where bones are sticking out and they still a bit itchy. When I've tried to rub some cream (any brand) but they tend to become more itchy..When i leave them for a while (and not scratching them) they calm down and look just like before. This itchines is only happening while and after shower. Its been like that for about 1,5 years. Is it the same like chilblains? or something different? Please help..

I previously had a staff infection in my right foot and since then my foot especially in between my toes is so itchy I can't resist and have to scratch. I dry between my toes everyday but my foot gets so warm and sweaty from my work boots it doesn't seem to clear up. I've tried creams and tablets and nothing seems to be helping. In between my toes have cracked and the softer skin peels away. It also becomes really painful.

Can you elaborate more? *What sort of work boots do you wear *Staff infection? whats that

I went to my doctor a week ago just to get my foot checked out to see if I have athletes foot, she said it was and I also pointed out that I had the same rash and itchy skin between the toes, on the sole of my foot as well as on my hands. I only had a small rash on two toes but they were really itchy same as my hands. My doctor prescribed me some Daktarin cream but since using it twice a day like my doctor told me it has now spread to four toes and is now blistering which I don't think is right. so do I go back to the doctor for another check up or do I carry on for another week. It can be really painful at times.

I suffer from raynaud's phenomenon. I get chilblains in my toes every year in winter. It can be crazy painful, first time I got them I thought I had broken toes, I get some swelling but rarely find them to be itchy. It helps layering thin socks but so far nothing has kept them 100% at bay

Every now and again (especially after a run) the bottom of my feet and my toes go a dark purple. Also, at different times, my toes go completely white, with no capillary refill and feel really cold. Sometimes I can help this second issue by using a vibrating massager on my thigh, but often I cannot restore blood low or heat to my toes for hours on end. I am concerned that this will eventually cause some kind of necrosis to my toes. what can I do, if anything?

I have a problem with my toes getting unbearably itchy and red. It's happening a lot at the minute, during the day and at night in bed or the shower. I moisturise my feet and body daily as i get very dry skin and I know this can can sometimes lead to itchyness. My toes are troubling me though, it itches right at the tips and around the nail bed which feels quite hot and red. It comes on very quickly and gets so that I can't resist rubbing them, often until it hurts. It then goes away again. I'm worried that it is an infection but it does not seem to be all the time.

This sounds just like me! I've had it on one toe, maybe a bit on the one beside it, for two weeks now. I first noticed it after a walk in the snow...

I have developed really itchy feet on my soles and the base of my toes and around my toes it isn't athlete's foot. It happens when my feet get warm and I want to scratch them with anything to hand, I usually end up rubbing them up and down on the carpet. I am taking Topiramate tablets and wonder if they are a side-effect, I can't find anything and I don't want to worry my doctor about this as it seems such a waste of time - any thoughts?

I have the same comdition just on the sole of my left foot!I'm not on any medication and have used athletes foot cream which just makes it worse! It's very frustrating I don't know what it is!

I have it too! It started two years ago on the soles of my feet. It is a tingly feeling, it seems, just inside my foot and I just have to scratch and rub my foot on the carpet or anything that is sharp and it drives me crazy! It was really bad at work, sitting at my desk for long periods of time. I thought at first the itching was caused by my nylon tights or that is was psychological. But the doctor said it could be some form of eczema. There is never any damage to the skin though, even after prolonged scratching.

i have had athletes foot since i was about 4 or 5, im 22 now, when i was younger it was really bad so itchy i would scratch and rip the skin off till my feet bled. i have had ointments, creams and powders to treat it in the past now it just comes and goes, no where near as bad as it was but i still get it quite bad on my heels and toes and sometimes quite painfully itchy

I have just turned 20 years old and since i was about 13 or so i have had a fungal nail infection on both of my big toes and also a little bit on the toes next to them too. The two big toes are yellowish in colour and look like they are growing on top of each other rather than growing up the way they are also very hard and i find it very difficult to cut them too. The toes next to the big toes are just really thick and slightly over lapping and a little bit darker too but not as bad as the big toes. I have been to the doctors a few times and one even told me that it was something that happens to some peoples nails and that i just have to deal with it basically. I am planning on going on holiday next year to spain with my daughter and fiance and would love to be able to wear flip flops and walk on the beach bare foot as the last time i was on holiday in spain i was too embarrassed to do so because of my nails. Seems like i will just have to keep on going back to the doctors and explaining everything to them and hoping someone will be able to help me
