I had this, im getting my gall bladder out as I was diagnosed with pancreatitis, I was jaundice vomiting and unable to eat or drink, my kidneys started to fsil also.

I have been diagnoised with sarcoidosis. Have had no help. really bad effects, ie liver, pancreas, bile duct, jaundice. once all together, and at other times different ones seperately. This illness is ruining my life.Any thing would help coping with it. As I feel I can't be expect to live like this

Hi, my daughter suffered itching all over her body, scratching so much she bled. She was eventually diagnosed with liver failure caused from an allergy to Amoxycillin. The itching happened before the jaundice appeared. Hope your daughter is now well.

I have had this rash quite a few months now And very itchy. Very strange as the bumps are All in a straight lines and when pressed can bleed. Waiting for a biopsy then I can start treatment. Just want it gone. After having foot operations , Gull bladder out, kidney stones, cellulitis and Jaundice I need a break . Now yeast infection Also. Could scream. Want this gone. Sick Of itching . Thought it was my thyroid medication Causing it.

Yes whether it floats or sinks can be important - pale, floating, hard to flush stools can accompany some forms of jaundice, indicating a problem with the gallbladder or liver (I'm also a medical student!) re discharge, black tarry stools indicates bleeding high up in the digestive tract, whereas red blood is a sign of problems lower down including polyps and haemorrhoids. Any discharge needs checking out!

Hi, Im a 24 year old, white female and for as long as i can remember the soles of my feet have been REALLY yellow/orange. I know some people have this to a small extent because of dead skin, but i exfoliate all the time to get rid of this colouring and it doesnt go away. I am really white so the contrast is all the more noticable. it makes me embarassed to do any exercise in my bare feet, go swimming or go to the beach. please help, i have researched this but cant find any information. It is only my feet which are yellow so it can't be jaundice. Thanks

For the past few years I have had exactly the same thing. I get severely bloated after eating anything. And the severity of it depends on which type of food I eat. In addition to the swelling, I have extremely bad smelling wind, which sometimes goes on for days every few minutes! The smell is so bad, that sometimes the room I have been in smells equally as bad the next morning as when I let off in it. I also get very very painful cramps from the top centre part of my stomach, all the way down the left of my stomach. The pain has been so bad before, that I went to A&E, but there was nothing they could do. My GP told me that I have IBS - and prescribed me Lanzoprozol and Mebeverine to help with the symptoms. Both of which didn't help - so I was told I would have to live with it. It was only until one day the pain was so bad I couldn't take it no more, that I saw the GP and I was taken to hospital. I had Jaundice, ( yellow all over my body ), urine which was brown. They did an ultrascan, which revealed that I had Gall Stones, which explained all of the above. I am due to see the Gastroenterologist ( However you spell it ) this coming Wednesday, when they are going to tell me, what they are going to do with my Gall Bladder. I shall of course let you know :-) x

I hear you, i'm 23 & i've suffered from the same problem. I was 18 when i gave birth to my daughter and i was originally a 34a cup & went up to a 34b when my milk came in. I was told that if i wanted my breasts to stay this size, then i should breastfeed, which i did, but only for a few days because i actually made my baby badly jaundiced because i was told to be persistant with the breastfeeding even though my baby couldn't latch on properly due to inverted nipples, and as a result of the jaundice, she had been through a lot of pain and tests. To top it all off, my breasts actually went smaller than they were before the pregnancy, which i didn't think was even possible. They are non existant. I have no self confidence, i keep my padded bra's on 24/7 & only take them off to shower because i can't bare to look at myself. My boyfriend of 4 years has only seen my breast on a few occasions because i feel so embarrased, even though he says they are fine, I know he's lying. I also now have no feeling or sensitivity in my breasts. I cry most days because of it, because i've NEVER actually seen myself as a woman when i look in the mirror, i still look like im 14. The worst part about it is, not only are my breasts useless sexually, but they couldn't even do what they were intended for in the first place, to feed my baby, and actually made her poorly. I've already been to the doctors about this problem and just got shrugged off, and the doc was a WOMAN. I really dont like the idea of having implants but that's my only choice if i want to feel like the woman i'm supposed to be, It'll just take me years to save up.
