they could just be skin tags or genital warts, i had this problem and found that treating them with warticon solved the problem. u can get this from your GP. I hope this helps

I am a 29year old female. In 2008 I noticed about 4 growths on my labia, so I went to get it checked out in my local GUM/STI clinic, having been reviewed by the Head Consultant, I was told they werent genital warts but that they didn’t know what they were. I asked could it be the possibility of ingrown hairs due to shaving. I got 'maybe' as a reply. However to this day, I have never found anything on the internet that is indicative of my symptoms, no forums, no pictures etc… and although I should be happy that the consultant never found concern for the growths to be investigated further, to this day I’ve never been happy with this response I was given, & now in the last number of years the growths have multiplied. The growths are black in appearance, soft, the size of a large pinhead, there is no pain, no discomfort and if they rupture due to me attempting to squeeze them or because of shaving they leak thick black blood, but they never disappear. I am concerned that they have multiplied and would like a more definitive answer however because of the small town I live in, the embarrassment of having to go back to my local STI clinic is more than I can bare and the probability is that I would be seen by the same consultant again anyhow. Any help will be gratefully appreciated it.

I'm a 39 year old male and I've had these on my scrotum for quite a few years, like yours, increasing in number over the years. The only way I can make them bleed is by aggressively picking at them, but as they are so small and flat I haven't really worried about them.

Your comments about their blood content worry me a lot. I am not a doctor but you really should get this checked out, especially if it is getting worse. If you don't want to go the the STI clinic in your town, find one in a neighboring area that you can get to. Many places (such as Planned Parenthood) are great for handling potential emergency situations like this one. If you have some kind of STI or anatomical problem, you need it taken care of ASAP. Hope it all works out for you.

Greetings dear one. Based on what you wrote, I think you should see a qualified doctor for immediate help. Thanks and have a nice day.

I am a 16 year old girl and about 10 years ago I was knocked off my bike by a car. I fractured the bone that runs down the outsideof the kneecap and was in hospital with my leg in traction for a week. When the bone had properly fixed it left my kneecap facing inwards and rubs against my other knee cap when I walk. I am also a gymnast and sometimes have problems performing the tumbles as it jarrs and becomes swollen and painful. I am unsure what this is or if there is anything that can be done to fix this problem. Please write back.

sounds a bit like it could be genital warts. not a big deal, they can go by themselves, or you can treat outbreaks with cream, but get it checked out!

from what you say as in you can feel bone structure in the way then you must go and see your gp as he/she will more than likely send you for a scan to see your skeletal framework. if you have a an obstruction such as bone you need to see a specialist, I think this has been mentioned on here before, vaginismus does not have anything to do with being able to feel bone/bones in the way. my advise, and I am sure it's echoed by others is - you have no choice but to go to your doctor - as you said - you have diagnosed a bone structure problem.

Hi there, I saw the show this evening, and was particularly interested in finding out the name of the operation the girl underwent to remove her growths of endometriosis. I have the condition, and I have undergone a laparoctomy / myomectomy 10 yrs ago. The operation itself - it gets rid of all of the growths "from the root", so to speak, but it doesn't eradicate the condition; this is my understanding... I have another condition, so going under the knife for investigative ops has to be weighed up carefully. Awaiting your response. Thank you!

I'm 18 I've not had sex or been sexually active. I have dark skin colour, soft cauliflower like growths (not like warts I've had before on my fingers or feet) on only the left side of my labia majora, growing pretty much along in a straight line. I've had it for as long as I can remember and I think there have become more very, very slowly over time. I've researched this extensively for years and vulva cancer is the only thing that really seems to match. Does this sound like I have it? I'm really too shy to see a doctor, but it worries me a lot. There is no obvious pain, regular itching or other symptoms other than the growths.

Ok Alex, I just did a very quick bit of research on this and as you say you don't have all the classic symptoms of vulva cancer. But there are some bits of your description that worry me (probably the same bits that worry you). You say you're realy too shy to see a doctor and I am with you there but, I was recently forced by my wife to go to my doctor about symptoms I was experiencing and it's not so bad as you think. Indeed given the circumstances if you need a glass of wine or two beforehand (if your not driving) then do so. I am not advocating alcoholism here, its just that I think it is more important that you get a qualified diagnosis on this.

I have a problem that the local G.P.s do not seem to want to deal with. I'm not critcising them, maybe it's not within their experience. The blood supply to the expandable part of my penis seems to be cut off, making it impossible to get a useful erection. Upon examination, I find that the central artery feeding that part is hard and what I can only describe as Knobbly, right back into the pelvis. I suspect that it is a build up of plaque, caused by HDL(chloresterol) in the artery. I wonder if anything can be done about it, as I still have the incentive even though I am well over 70 and my wife is also still interested. Any ideas?

Hi all. I am forty, never had any children, never had a hysterectomy and i think that I have a vaginal prolapse. Something kind of knobbly is protruding from my vagina. I have had to self medicate for vaginal thrush on loads of times as initially all of the syptoms seemed to fit. Sex with my fiancé is excruciating, and as the lump grows larger I am experiencing pain around the vaginal opening. I have a dr's appointment on Friday (19th) and what is most important for both of us is that we can still have children as we are getting married next June. If we cannot have children....then that is the end of the road for me.....PLease do tell me that I am not going insane?

you mentioned something is in the way, have you had an examination for a prolapse ? prolapse can happen at an age even from simple constipation and it is only now you are aware of a physical obstruction. the other comments on here about your bone and seeing orthapeedic doctor is also good suggestion. but also get looked at for prolapse as this could be another problem you have as a prolapse bladder or womb or retum has this sensation. Am coming down on the side of others comments that this is nothing to do with vaginismus as the symptoms you mention are not as clear cut as vaginismus because you can have intercourse but are aware of a bone or something internal physically being in the way. agree with others if it is the pelvic or pubic bone which you say it is you need to speak to someone specialising in bones because I think you may have just homed in on vaginismus and be way off base. you need to get 4 opinions re 1= the bone, 3 = prolapse possibilities.

Thank you for your help. I do appreciate the advice. I don’t think it is a prolapse as I feel no different from normal and I have no issues with tampons or even the vagiwave. When we are trying to have sex and I feel myself it is like the bone is blocking any flexibility at the front, but pushing down or left and right is really really tight. My boyfriend can fit a finger, maybe two in sideways, but vertical the bone is there and the skin is extremely tight at the bottom around the entrance and there is no give. It’s like the pubic bone is there, but if I wasn’t tight, there wouldn’t be an issue. When we were having sex I can’t say it was comfortable, but nothing like this. It was possible at least. As you turn your fingers from horizontal to vertical, just inside the entrance, one finger will push against the bone, the other into a tight area of skin and then it’s ouch! I hope that maybe describes it better. I’m sorry if I’m vague but it’s hard to describe.

they said its my bones rubbing bone on bone i wish they could do somethink for me as it hurts all the time and its getting be down thanks gwen

i have this bone under the skin in between my boobs its not a noticeable now i have breasts, but i went to the doctors and they say its just the bra bone which has flipped over is this true and is it normal? xx

No, creams will not get rid of the problem! It is a deformity of the bone how would a cream get rid of it? And I don't think the chemist telling you to rub it with a foot file is going to do anything either as that will not affect the bone. Once you have one, (a severe one) surgery is the only way to correct the bone growing that way. I have one on my left foot and its starting to give me a lot of problems when I run and things like that. I've never really worn bad shoes that much either. The surgery is not too bad apparently, but recovery takes a long time so I have to plan for a good time to have it so I can have some down time

could be overgrowth of bone as i had to have an op to remove excess bone which affected breathing and made me snore, unfortunately it has grown back and i now have a nasal polyp as well

my breast bone sticks out and its called pigeon chested, my rite breast points out and i hate lying down because my boobs go flat and all i see is my brest bone poking out, i find it hard to get comfotable bras that dont hurt my bone, i have been to the doctors when i was 11 about this and they said i could have an operation but would leave a big scar down my chest and to just leave it as it is. now im 21 i hate my boobs and i wish could be normal

Not usually. See your Doctor ASAP.

I had had a corn on my the botttom of my right foot, i went to see my gp and they tried freezing it but itwon't go away, apprantly it's inbetween where the toes bone meets the sole bone, which causes it to cushion and corn, it is really embarrasing and i just can't seem to get rid of it.
