Conditions with symptom: 'large adam's apple'
My 7 year old son has a prominent Adam's apple. Should I be concerned?
Hi I'm 16 years old and I am going through puberty. I am 5 foot 7 inches tall and weight roughly 11 1/2 stone. I have hair under my arms, slight facial hair, slight hair under the belly button and have pubic hair which has spread to my groin and buttocks hair. My voice has broken and I have a small Adam's apple. My penis is about 1 1/2 inches when flaccid and 4 1/2 inches when errect. I just wanted to know will my penis increase in size, or I am stuck like this. This is really effecting my confidence with girls. Please comment back.
Jason I'm a girl and I can honestly tell you that you are completely normal! Honestly, you should be confident because you have nothing to worry about! And if it's really bothering you that much just take a look on the vulva wall on here-us girls worry about ourselves More than guys do! Size won't matter at all when you're in a relationship with someone, because they should love you for who you are and not what you look like. Hope this helps:) x
I am a 30 year old woman, and I also have a very prominent adams apple, which I hate. This has depressed me since puberty. I recently found out I have hypothyroidism & I don't know if this is related to it at all. I'm too embarrased to ask my doctor about this. I would live more than anything to have my adams apple operated on to look more feminine. I don't feel like I'm a real woman because of it.
you must not be embarrased to speak to your gp, I had the same as you and found out I was hypothyroid (I even gave my goitre a name, it was case of laugh about it or cry. Its been five years since my first op and then another op two years ago took out the whole of the thyroid gland. The gland itself sits next to the windpipe and if yr hormone control is functioning then your thyroid will enlarge, its part of its anatomy to increase in size and unfortunately it will appear on your throat. Do you find wearing necklaces uncomfortable or scarves dig into your throat? please please go back to your doctor, they won't laugh its part of their job to fully explain things to you. Hopefully by now you have seen your doctor and have started medication to help with your hormone deficiency? I hope everything works out for you, be nice to yourself
my mum had a prominent adams apple and she was told she had Hypothyroidism and she had to have a op to take it out now she is loseing the weight the only draw back is the tablets!!!
I am 30 years old and I developed a verruca on my right heel 6 years ago; for the first 2years I ignored it and was told by the doctor it would go away, it then began to become painful so I tried all the over the counter treatments, none of which worked. The surrounding skin became damaged and a small cluster began to form. I went down the natural therapy treatment path by alternating banana skin, lemon, garlic, tea tree oil over the cluster and covering it This worked after about a year of treatment, then frustratingly the cluster returned! I then took homeopathic remedy Thuja and ad been using apple cider vinegar and duct tape, using a foot file to remove dead skin, the cluster has now grown to a large ugly size and has become sore and painful. I have also developed warts on my hand and in various other places on my feet. I am again persisting with the apple cider vinegar and duct tape at present but becoming increasingly frustrated by the ever increasing size of the cluster. I would be grateful of any advice available, Thankyou!

how do get my Adams apple removed?
Hello, I have a rather large vaginal hood. It has always been large ever since I could remember. I am very self conscious of it and don't feel comfortable with my partner seeing it at all.. Are large hoods normal? Can they be fixed?
U need to buy monistat. What u have is a yeast infection, if it gets worse it can be very uncomfortable.
my voice has broken and you can see my Adams apple but my balls dont seem to go lower or get bigger
If your testicles are outside your body, then there is probably nothing to worry about. Some guys hang low, others do not. If you plan to have children, then the main thing to be concerned about is having a sperm count that is high with plenty of viable sperm. Most labs can check on these two variables for you. If you're fine with these two counts, then no need to worry. If you're low with either of these two counts, then you need to be talking to doctors who specialize in these areas to see what your options are.
