I'm 14 and one of my boobs are a c cup and the other is an a cup it's noticeable through most t-shirts so I have to use tissue to even them out, I don't no if they will ever even out and it's taking a huge tole on my self esteem! My self esteem is already pretty low due to my weight, I feel like nothing is going right with my body. Will they even out naturally ? I'd this normal? If they do even out naturally how do I speed up the process?

I'm 18 and one of my breasts is a D cup and the other is an A or B cup so I get where you are coming from. You shouldn't worry about it now. You're breasts will keep on growing until you're 18 or in your 20s, and even after that they will keep on changing, so they may even out or one may stay smaller. Really the only option to even them out once they are done growing is to get cosmetic surgery. As for trying to speed up the process there is no way to. For now you just have to bear with it and see how they grow.

My boyfriend has it really bad and his self-esteem has really gone down and I want to help him. How did you get it under control and what treatment would you recommend I really want to help him.

I reckon if you do upper body exercises your chest will expand Bernice. if you lift weights up to your chest you can probably feel your chest start to expand and the more you do the more your chest is likely to get bigger.

hello Bernice, I feel your frustration & upset on this matter. I was a 34A also. Until I literally couldn't take it anymore. I went through surgery. And I can honestly say, it's the best thing I've ever done & wondered why I didn't do it sooner. Beyond safe & relatively painless. The downside, is the obvious; cost. But it's changed my life and perception on my body. I wouldn't advise nor push anyone towards cosmetic surgery, but bottom line is; if it gets you down that much, go for it! You only live once. In Daniel's episode he was prescribed a cream called Pigmanorm for his hyperpigmentation. This cream should only be used under medical supervision and after a correct diagnosis has been made, so please talk to your GP or Dermatologist in the first instance.

If the white stuff is very creamy, possibly even lumpy (cottagecheesy) and very white white, it is most likely that you are about to or are currently ovulating. However, if it is off-white, greenish or yellow tinted, a little smelly, and there is itching around the entrance, then you may have a yeast infection or bacterial vaginitis (vaginosis?) Yo can get over-the-counter creams and inserts for the yeast infection, but I think you need prescribed pills for the bacterial kind. I hope this helps.

Hiya I'm 24 and have really been considering a boob job. I have really low self esteem and pregnancy has taken it toll on my boobs. I also have 1 inverted nipple. It's really getting me down. Is there any advise you could give me. Or any recommendations. Many thanks

Carly, an inverted nipple is not unusual - perhaps 10% of humans have one (men and women). Most that have one, were born with it, including myself. It's just one of the little variations, like left-handedness, that human bodies have. Pregnancy may have changed your breasts, but that too, is perfectly normal. Everyone's bodies change as they get older and experience life, and a caring partner will celebrate that those changes are part of what make you unique. You may want to check with your OB/GYN, during your next checkup, but I suspect the answer will be "you're normal".

I'm very glad you posted this. I'm currently dealing with everything you've said. I'm about to be 21, and I still can't take off my shirt during sex. i hate when my partner will even make a move with his hand towards my breasts. i hate them so much. I cant wear certain bathing suits, i look weird naked, i can't even undress in front of my girlfriends in the locker room at the gym. i just want to feel like a woman.

I understand the way you feel because i am suffering from the same condition. A few months ago, every black spot on my face felt like a pinch to my self esteem. For over a year i was worried about the state of my face and i took the wrong decisions. Now i really regret the results. I will describe all that in one phrase "lack of self esteem". One advice, tackle the way you feel when you interact with people and please do not make the wrong decisions on products or surgical procedures. Tackle your self esteem issues and hope for the best. It may take a year or two, but you will soon be free.

I am squint in right eye.. when I focus my eyes on objects right eye always goes outward. I know it knocks my self esteem and confidence. I avoid going places and eye contact. I am about to join a government job in a few days so I am very nervous about it. I am 21 years old. please tell me can I get this problem fixed and how? How much this surgery costs and how much it takes to recover? If you have any ideas to build my self-esteem and confidence please tell me.

Im 14 and i have a small but dark mole right on the front of my face. It is slightly raised and even though it is small in size it affects my self esteem. Im not sure where else to ask about this on the website but it is not a risk to my health, just self-esteem. would laser surgery work on this kind of mole, I have a few of them but the one on the front is the most problamatic, thanks.

I'm now 29, but as a young child I pulled my hair and all my eyelashes out. Until now, I thought I had just been a very odd child, but to see so many others have done the same and to see a programme on it is oddly reassuring! Mine was definitely stress and low self esteem. But I never received any help. My parents thought I was very odd. As a result I went onto do other things during teenage years. Cutting myself, starving myself, smoking etc. I then ended up in an abusive relationship. I wish I had had help back then! But there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel. Please see someone and talk it through and work out the problems. I am now very very happy in a wonderful relationship, 1 little boy and a little girl on the way, and my self esteem is very high! Please get help everyone. Find out what is causing it. You are not alone and definitely not odd! xxx

I am 20 years old and I this condition with my right Breast, this effects my self esteem, and I thought was the only one. Happy to see other people in my position. Although my self-esteem is effected I try my best to live a normal life, date guys etc. when I hit puberty i noticed this my mom and sister thought it was kind amusing -___- that one of my Breast was shaped so" funny". When I saw my pedatrican she said I was normal. I guess because this is more common then I thought. I've been wanting surgery for years to end the stress I think about it constantly, one day I will, but for now I'm going to live my life date, go to school, hang out with friends etc. Dont give up on yourselves!!

I am 43 and every year i dread looking closely at my body for the amount of new moles that have appeared. I have so many of them now I only buy long sleeved tops and I dread summer. I often wish to be able to go to the doctor and say please can you look at my entire body and check for signs, I can barely look at myself. My esteem is extremely low. I have had a few moles scraped and removed using various techniques from my face and neck. Once these had initially healed my esteem was so much better. When I go to my gp I cant bring myself to talk about this, in the past I have mentioned it and he puts me off, telling me to come back in so many months time etc. Its the physcological discomfort that makes me feel so depressed. I used to love going swimming but feel unable to go, I feel as if Im missing out on life! What can I do?

Yeah very little support from Gps in this esteem crushing issue. This considered not life threatening therefore not an issue. Therefore left until you develop weight gain and or diabetes. so, slightly more serious, as you struggle with both issues you then get older and develop heart disease. Is that more worthy of intervention. Yeah maybe worthy of an referral to the relevant consultant that deals with an serious enough issue worthy that can kill you eh, never mind your lifetime of low esteem and fractured confidence. Now diseased and passed it. Maybe we should seek a vet instead. No more plasters, just pain auld duty of care, intervention, and stop the development of chronic diseases please!!

I'm 18 and ive had terrible body image issues because of this since i started developing at 12 or 13. I looked it up on the internet when I was about 14 but was too scared to read anything i didnt want to read so i stopped looking.. Ive had anxiety issues for years which really doesnt help! After just spending a while crying because of my breasts and self esteem/anxiety (a common past time), i finally felt i should look it up again. I am so releaved to find that so many others are going through the same thing and that it can be corrected. I havent told anyone about this...including my boyfriend . i cant take my bra off during intercourse :( i feel like i want to tell him now that i know what it is and am less terrified. I feel that surgery may be necessary for my self esteem and could make my life so much happier! However i must get over my fears of hospitals and operations first... if anyone anyone has any comments, advice, comforting words or anything ! please feel free

Just to let you know, I'm exactly the same as you except a bit older, 26. I have had such a negative body image growing up because of this and also being slightly overweight as a teen. In fact I developed anorexia and I think a large part of that was to do with how unhappy I was with my body, especially my breasts. If you can't talk to your boyfriend, maybe talk to a sensitive GP or family member - it might just help having someone to talk to about it, I would imagine would be a big help.

Thanks Mary, I've since told two of my closest friends which was really difficult but relieving. I am trying to find an expert in the area just to ask a lot of questions but can't seem to find any in my state yet and I don't really want to talk to a normal GP who may have no idea. I'd really like to be able to talk to other people with tuberous breasts online too- some who had them corrected and some who haven't. It makes me feel more normal aha. Are you in the same boat as me with the whole surgery thing? I want it but I'm terrified!

I believe having a squint /turn in your eye can make your life very difficult and can cause very low self-esteem and can even prevent some, if not the majority from the 'get up and go' attitude / confidence that is required to getting what you want out of life. I get frustrated when I hear 'normal eye people' advising to go get surgery, its as simple as that! No it is not! Corrective surgery is NOT always the answer. I do feel strongly at times that children with a squint/cross eyes get overlooked in society undermining the psychological problems caused to a child preventing him/her to lead a full happy normal life. I do feel more should be done for a child - to boost their self-esteem, to build up their confidence etc etc.

I'm always surprised that adults have to put up with squints, I had one from being 4 until sucessful surgery when I was 10. However even this length of time with the condition has meant that my brain learnt to ignore the image, therefore I don't really use that eye. This can never be corrected, the eye is extremely longsighted but glasses will never help. What is allowing this condition to go on so long doing to our childrens and adults eyesight. If you have a problem, get yourselves to the doctor or optician and push for action. No one should have to live with potentially damaging condition.

I can only agree with all of the people who e.mailed. I am a 63 year old female, perfectly attractive, but for the existence of a squint. It has bothered me since childhood. I would not take my glasses off for love or money and abandoned any sport that would involve removing my spectacles, i.e. golfing in the rain or swimming. It has also affected intimate relationships. Contact lenses don't correct the squint the same as glasses. So life for me and, I believe, anyone with a squint is a hard road to travel - it seems like everything else in the field of cosmetic surgery can be helped but squint is never even a suggestion. It's one of those problems that we take to the grave! Sorry to sound so dismal but that's the reality!

hia :) I'd been going to my GP from around the age of 13 after thinking my breasts were triangular, and not round like my other friends. I was told I have tubular breasts. I continued going to my GP after people constantly reminding me my boobs were 'disgusting' I had no self esteem or confidence, and my GP promised to refer me when i was 18. I have now had corrective surgery, and i am a much happier person for it. I am very happy with the results, i feel more feminine :) My relationship with my boyfriend has also improved dramatically. Although my confidence issues were not completely due to having tubular breasts, having the surgery has helped a great deal. I would advise anyone who is having confidence or self esteem issues due to their tubular breasts to go to their GP, and if you decide surgery is right for you, then you should do it :) I hope this helps anyone wondering about surgery :)xxx

I'm 23 and my teeth are in a terrible state. They are yellow and wonky looking and gum disease :(. as a teen i drank too much tea and coke and i chose not to brush at night. when the dentist tried to help me back then i just ignored this help and still did not brush twice a day. at 16 i was referred to get braces but the man said they were that bad i wasnt able to get them :( really wish i had tried harder to look after them. i do look like a beautiful Asian girl but my mouth makes me feel really ugly. i have a son who will be 3 next year and i would really love to go get a job and provide for him.instead of always relying on my partner. but i have zero self-esteem and zero confidence. i'm always worrying if my teeth will all fall out ive already lost my 2nd left back molar. ive just recently started seeing a new dentist. i wont know if i need alot of work doing until next month when she gives me an xray. is there any hope of me having my self-esteem back on track and me being able to smile again. and not hide away from people.

hi, i'm 20 years old and because of strech marks i have a lot of psychological problem. recently i founnd out that there is a machine called biodermogenesi that seems to defeat strech marks. try to ask to your gp if it can be a possible solution for you problem.

Thank you nikki and louise - it's great to have people posting who have this condition and are happy to stay the way they are. I am similar if not worse than the descriptions here and have suffered with very bad self esteem in the bedroom, but as I deal with self-esteem issues generally so too am I learning to love (or at least not hate) the body I have. These types of television shows encourage women to feel that there is something wrong with them, and position plastic surgery as the answer. It makes me very angry to see the effect of this, even feel it (as I was reading through those comments, before I came upon nikki and louise's posts, I was beginning to fall into that trap "maybe I am disgusting, maybe I should want to change my body..etc."). The fact is everyone is different and the "help" that could make the most difference would be to make more shows that celebrate diversity, not negate it.
