Sounds like a normal vaginal discharge. Many woman have this problem. I have been having it for years now and my Obgyn can't really help so don't feel embarassed. I just use panty liners throughout the day to stay fresh and clean. Be aware! If the discharge has a foul smell or you get any irritation down there, then it would be time to worry, usually it's an infection or STD.

Is there anything to get rid of or help fade scars on the bottom? I'm 17 and female. Sometimes I've gotten blemishes and spots then ended up trying to burst them. Resulting in swollen bumps and scars, I've changed my diet and have been exfoliating, this has reduced the amount I get. I've also gotten this on my upper back. The scars really effect what I wear during summer, any suggestions?

Hello, I am 14 and have had acne on my left breast since I was 9. I have been through many creams/capsules and one of the latest being roacutane ( sorry if it's misspelt ). I got told by my consultant it would absolutely disappear. But it hasn't since it is just scars that are left. And they are really big and obvious and people point them out everyday and it's horrible. I got told that there is nothing to be done about these scars, but I believe that there is. Please suggest some ideas of what could be done about the scars thank you.

Hi Rebecca, Please tell your parents and please see your doctor and get help.I am 16 and I am fighting cancer for the third time.It makes me sad when I hear of things like this. You have your whole life to look forward to.Please get the help you need.

I self harm as well. I am now 7 weeks clean from cutting. There is no reason you should be ashamed of your scars. You have as much right to wear short sleeves as anyone else does. If you're not ready for your parents to see your scars, maybe cover up at home and wear short sleeves at school? That's what I did, and when I became more used to people seeing them, it wasn't as difficult for me to wear short sleeves around my family. At first they were shocked, but they are now used to it. I wish you luck! And stay strong darling

I also have keloid scars but on the back of my two shoulders. They are red and lumpy and constantly itch. Its really embarassing to wear strappy tops or strapless tops as the scars are across my both shoulders. I have always wanted to get rid of them as i also have little white lumpy spotty scars across the two shoulders aswell.

My daughter had chicken pox at the age of 10 months which turned out to be life threatening. Luckily she recovered and is now 4 years old however she has significant large, lumpy scars all over back and tummy. The scars took around 18 month to 2 years before they were healed and without infection. As the scars are lumpy, she regularly catches and scratches them all the time which makes them sore and red. At the moment they don't bother her but I know there will become a time when they do. I would love to know if there is anything avaliable out there that would help her??

Hi, Hyperviscous and hypercoagulating semen can be caused by problems within the prostate gland. The prostate gland secretes most of the fluid in the semen and it secretes the enzymes necessary for keeping the semen in a liquefied state. Decreased force of ejaculation and quantity of semen can also be due to prostate abnormalities and will need to be evaluated thoroughly. Your urologist can perform a physical exam to assess whether the prostate gland is enlarged. Additional reasons for clumping of semen include infrequent ejaculation. Semen analysis would reveal any intrinsic abnormality of the composition of the semen and would give indications as to what part of the tract is responsible.

basically no there isnt. a scar forms where new tissue grows over a wound, if its deep its likely the scar will be keloid - this also happens more on black skin because the skin is thicker. on white skin the scars are more noticeable. you can have surgery to correct it but you'll still be left with - an admittedly smaller - scar. the NHS are unlikely to fund this though so you'd have to come up with the money yourself. if you cant afford that then you can buy makeup specifically meant for hiding medical scars (burns/cuts/tattoos etc) its thicker than normal foundation and is waterproof so that might be an option - sometimes you can get nhs funding for this but it very much depends on where you are.

I would like some advice as to what my options are in dealing sever acne scars on my face. I suffered with very bad on my face right up into my 20's and the scars on my face are particularly deep. I realise that due to the depth of the scars there is no treatment that will get rid of them completely, but these scars have had devastating effects on my life and I really want to do something about them. I would like to know what sort of treatment I should be looking at that will be the most effective in reducing the look of deep acne scars.

For the scars, you could try Baby Bio, it fades scars and stretchmarks. Scars don't go completely but that oil might help fade them so they're unnoticable. It's worth a try. :) x

Is it normal to have lumpy breasts after childbirth/breastfeeding? I honestly wouldn't know if I had a cancerous lump as my breasts are so lumpy all over. I had my second baby five months ago. Hi everyone, My name is Lisa and I have just had breast augmentation to enlarge my "small A cup" to a "large C / small D cup". This is somthing which I have been thinking about now for the last 5-6 years so didnt go into it lightly. It is only a week after the surgery and I have just had the dressings taken off the scars. I must say I didnt think the scars would be as big as they are or as low down as they are. The scars are about an inch away from my breast (underneath) so I am quite worried now that the scars are going to be in full view, say if I am wearing a bikini. There is still quite alot of swelling so I am hoping the scars will rise as the swelling goes down. Does anybody know of a cream or gel they would recommend for the reduction of scar tissue?

I have lumpy uneven finger nails on the index finger of each hand, I file them down to try and even them out, but in a very short while they return to the same lumpy appearance. I am using a nail glue currently to try to stop them forming oddly, this has not yet helped, is there anything else I could do ? Thanks in advance.

Good to hear you are on the way up Sarah.. The scars are pretty fresh still, I would say, but maybe a good time to do something to help heal them over as best as possible..Ask the Pharmacist direct for suggestion and what is a good topical lotion/cream/oil that can assist..also a discussion with your Gp would be another good area and she may refer you to a skin specialist. Ensure you mention that they are still painful..In some ways they may be treated like a surgical cut from operations so would be good to know, what medical people tell their patients..

I'm glad to see you're on the road to recovery :) they are still relatively new scars - it can take a few years for them to flatten and fade to white so they have a way to go. Some even disappear completely, depending on severity. Gentle massage with a good moisturiser will help to keep them smooth and softened, encourage healing and break down any granulation in the tissue. They are best kept out of direct sun anyway, or well screened. I got my scars accidentally sunburned last week when my sunscreen wore off - they are LONG healed, but they became raised, red and are still a bit irritated after their accidental sunning. Sheer tops and fishnet material is light and covers scars well - but definitely have a chat with your GP and see if you can get a prescription of good coverup makeup, if nothing else. Referral for surgery is relatively rare so don't be disappointed if this isn't an option for you. Be proud of how far you've come x

HI Matt, I'm an Andrologist and examine semen samples every day. I have discussed this issue with many patients and the usual cause is not drinking fluids regularly enough throughout the day, but dehydrating before drinking again. Is this you? The mucus in the semen becomes more solid as it dehydrates and it's ejaculated as clear, jellylike lumps. The varicocele is a varicose vein and unlikely to be connected with the lumps. It's quite common but could affect your fertility later, so make sure you have regular sperm checks to keep an eye on the quality.

I'm 17 and have self harmed since I was 14. Both my arms are covered in scars, and my mom wants me to rub coconut oil on them so that they fade away. I get why and stuff, but I haven't gone to any treatment yet and I'm not ready for that. I like my scars, yes I get insecure, embarrassed & annoyed about having to hide them, but like I'm sure you all get what I mean. So idk what to do. My scars are my own, and I just need advice on this situation!

My advice to you is to not to be embarrassed, when I recovered from self harm I began to show my scars, at first it was akward and hard but after a short time you will learn to embrace your scars. Some people get weird about it but the people who you should be hanging around will not judge you. They are a reminder of who you are and anyone who is unwilling to accept you then they are obviously shallow and closed minded. To me my scars are a personal reminder that I can deal with what life gives me, they give me a sense of personal pride, if I was able to get over self harm just imagine what else I could do...

I think you guys should keep your scars...yes they are embarrassing when someone finds out about them or sees them but we are all tigerswho have eared our stripes...cuts are not just embarrassing nor am I saying they should ever be considered a fashion trend, but they are battle wounds of a battle you finally concurred you should be proud.Don't get rid of them..don't let them change the real you the one that has battle wounds and has been through the toughest battles..let those wound remind you not of your battle but your victory in winning the battle and stopping the selfharm~a fellow cat (selfharmer)
