I have a couple of moles on my neck and around my back. I am only 19 and a few had fallen off by getting caught in my jumpers etc. The ones on my neck are skin colored (including the one that fell off) and the ones on my back are a slight brown color but have recently began growing something extra on top of it.At first i thought it was a spot but it is still there. The one on my neck is large and has a slightly smaller one beside it but hasn't gotten any bigger. Are there any creams available or should i go to my GP? my mam had a very large one on the side of her head but it fell off

I have had a skin tag on my neck for about 8 years. It has never really bothered me as it is at the side, towards the back of my neck so cosmetically it is definately not an issue. However for the last few weeks Ive noticed it is growing and it starting to get painful when its touched by anything. Can this be removed through the NHS??

Its mea again- im not quite sure how to reply to natasha but after you told me this i did some research and it says that it is cortisol levels that rise which cause cushing syndrome and inturn the fatty hump- i take loratadine and nasonex for mhy allegies and i found out that both are cortisolsteriods- this is a dirsct link that i have found. do you think i am being paranoid or should i go speak to my gp about this and see if he can get me some antihistamines that do not raise my corisol levels??

A few years ago I sprayed perfume on my neck area which led to a skin reaction on the right side of my neck and now left a brown discolouration patch on my neck. After being prescribed various creams by the doctor nothing helped and I developed low self esteem and lack of confidence and have had to cover up by wearing a polo neck or scarf. I went on my first holiday with my partner but was unable to wear a bikini, swimsuit or anything that showed off my neck. I am light skinned, british of Ghanaian heritage. I would be interested to know if there is a laser treatment or waterproof camouflage makeup I can try as I don't want this issue to effect me for the rest of my life.

Hi there, I'm Asian and 29 years old. I have always had eczema and have very bad dark scaly looking patches all over the neck and also it is all over my legs, arms and chest. I watched the video of the girl who had very bad dark patches everywhere and was wondering where did she go to get it treated. I am really desperate as I have a wedding coming up. Also I don't want to spend loads of money going somewhere that will make the problem worse. Any recommendations and help will be much appreciated. My neck is so bad that the checkout girl at tesco kept looking at me and made a comment about my neck and said, 'why don't you do something about your neck, it looks hidious.' I don't expect to be bullied in my late 20's but it is getting so bad now. Please help.

I'm 25 year old Female and have suffered from severe blushing on my neck and chest for years. This can happen at any time whether I’m hot/cold speaking to someone new/ upset / happy / sad. Any change in emotion can trigger my neck and chest to flare up. Many people point this out and ask if I have had a reaction to something which will then make it worse!! I rarely blush on my face or not more than the average person anyway, just very blotchy on my neck and chest. But my way round this used to be scarf’s/ high neck/polo neck tops, now it is SUNBEDS!! The browner I am the less you see my neck rash appear. I don’t want to use sun beds as a way round this and end up with skin cancer.... I hope someone can recommend or help me? I have heard having the capillaries burnt would be a way round the problem as the blushing/rash is caused by the capillaries dilating. I would definitely go as far as an operation but don't know who to speak to or who can arrange this? Desperate for a solution.....Please help!

thank you so much Heather. its so comforting to know someone else understands. yes I have always found it uncomfortable wearing neclaces, chokers (which I tried to discuise it with in the past). sometimes its even painful to wear something around my neck. I saw an endocrinologist, he even felt my neck but didn't mention it at all. Ive now been on thyroxine for over a year but my neck remains the same. I do keep telling myself I will go to the doctors but I just keep putting it off! your reply has inspired me so I will try & do it. thank you again for your support & I'm glad you managed to get yourself sorted out too.

I got told my headaches and bad neck and constant jaw pain as because of my grinding. It turns out that the muscles were in spasm due to a trapped nerve in my neck caused by a car accident years ago. Just had injections and epidutal in neck along with trigger point injections in muscles and headacahes and pain now gone thank god

I'm 24 and have a skin problem very similar to Kahn's. It was diagnoized as Ashy Dermatosis. Five years ago it started on my neck and now my neck is all dark. I have some spots on my hands, ears and face. I've tried all types whitning creams, nothing worked. Doctors say there is no cure. If I were a man, I wouldn't care that much! I'm really not happy with it. I'm not happy with the make up solution! I miss my clean pritty neck. Isn't there any hope???!!!

I have had CD for two years, and just have had two Botox treatments. It has not helped the neck turning what so ever, though the pain in my neck is less. Will the Botox eventually work and my neck will stop turning? I do have a neurologist who does the injections, and she says it is the best chance of success. I am really frustrated and was hoping to stop the turning.

I have had plenty on my neck and one doctor just straight up told me that any time anything is basically at the base of your neck and above, it is way too close to the brain to ignore. If you feel your abscess might become infected, you should go on antibiotics until it clears. We all know they come back though right. I have had many cut out from my neck and have developed bad arthritis, so if you can avoid any excision, please do. Doing breathing and shoulder rolls to alleviate stress in the area helps and I cannot remember the last time I had one there, which was a frequent thing for me before. Best of luck dear.

when im stressed i get a huge red rash looking mark on the right side of my neck. when im nervous i get the same on the left side of my neck, and when im hyper/happy or drinking alcohol i get it on the front of my neck. if im very stressed/nervous/hyper it spreads all down my chest. its reaally embarasing .??
