I have had a lump in my right breast for 10 years..i'm 28 now.it increases and decreases in size depending on the time of the month.i'm sure it's not cancerous, i'm sure i'd be dead by now if it was.sometimes i can see it in the mirror when i stand naked in front of it.i've diagnosed it myself from reading womens health books as being a cyst, which can be removed by choice but doesn't need to be removed as it's not cancerous, but hen again i've never had this confirmed by any gp...has anybody else got this?xx

I have had really bad urges to pee when I know that a toilet is not near. I went to GP last year and had numerous tests at hospital - all came back negative. Due to problems with pre-cancerous cells in my cervix I stopped the medical tests on my bladder and concentrated on getting my cervix rid of pre-cancerous cells. However this pee problem has now taken over my life. It's like there is a bit of urine left after I have been to the toilet and I don't feel comfortable unless I am at home. But I fear it's all in my head? I wear pads and am completely embarrassed about it all. I just want to be able to live normally and not worry if I might wet myself. If anyone has any suggestions or can point me in any direction for help I would be extremely grateful.

Britt, you have strong fears of what it may be.. Go in and chat with another female Doc. this will give you the peace of mind you need and address the physical side all in one go.. Also strange comment to make embarrassed to ask your hubby, you married him!! your being physically, very close with this guy, and by now you should of crossed the line with open trust.../? that issue was a concern, but each to their own as they say.. Take care.. Get to a Doc's, Britt, get diagnoised and back to good health..

Hi, my problem is that my left testicle is 3 times the size of my right which seems to be the normal one. I'm 16 and I've got to the age where it is a big embarresment. I've had the problem for about 2-3 years and I'm just worried it could be cancerous. But it's never painful. Help?!

I'm 16 and I have a lump in my left breast. It's been here for a while, approximately 2 years. It doesn't cause me any pain but I was just curious. Can this lump be cancerous? Should I get a mammogram? Should I be worried for my health?

i have the same problem i know how you feel :(

I went to the doctor with a mole which had changed. He said it was probably OK, but referred me anyway. The consultant said it was probably OK, but removed it anyway. It turned out to be pre-cancerous. I am very relieved it has gone, but do not have much faith. If both people had relied on their natural instincts I would now have a mole which was cancerous.

there are so many different strains of the herpes virus so its not as simple as saying one does cause cancer and one doesnt. im not clear on the science itself but basically it causes them to mutate. the cells in your cervix are either normal, borderline changes, pre cancerous or cancerous. if you go for regular smear tests the changes can be easily picked up and treated accordingly.

Do you think this one could be cancerous and if not- can I get it removed somehow? I felt something in my breast and went 2 the doctors to check it. She said it was a cist, and said it might have been caused because of an influx of hormones, which blocked the glands. I'm about due for my period so she said this may have caused this. Is this true? and how do u tell the different between a cist and a cancerous lump? I'm really paranoid about this because I know people that have had lumps in their breasts which were cancerous.

Take her to a gynecologist. They will be able to determine whether it is cancerous or not. If it is not, then it is probably an asymetrical lybia or a vulvarian cyct. If it is a cyct, then it will need to be drained. If it is an enlarged lybia, then surgery is required of medical reasons, such as hygiene. If it is cancerous, which by the way is extremely uncommon for younger ones (in other words, it probably is not cancer), then it will have to be removed. As said, take her to a gynecologist, they will remove it.

I had the same thing - It kept catching on my bra and hurting so I went to the doctors. He said that hurting isn't a symptom of cancerous moles anyway and he didn't think it was a problem as it looked totally normal. He said he could remove it anyway, so I booked in and it was removed. They tested it and it was not cancerous, but my advise would be if it looks normal and the doctor thinks so too then don't remove it because I have been left with a scar twice as big as the mole and I wish now I hadn't had it removed. Hope it works out ok for you though :)

Hi,I have got a mole on my lower back near to my spine. It has always been slightly raised but had never irritated me or caused me any problems. My Mum has always told me to wear a plaster over it if I am out in the sun, and I have always been careful if I have an itch around that area. However I accidentally caught it and it looks like I have pulled a fair bit of it away from my skin. I immediately applied a plaster to it to prevent any further damage but Im concerned that it will become cancerous, (as my grandfather caught a mole on his neck with a razor and it turned cancerous and killed him). Please could you give me some advice as I am quite worried.

Hi I noticed a few months ago I had a skin tag on my back passage, I now have around 4 or 5 around my back passage, one close to my vigina. I had cin3 pre cancerous cells and laser treatment 12yrs ago and followed by 6mth smears. Now I am back to having smears every 3yrs , are these tags anything to do with pre cancerous cells maybe coming back. Should I see a Dr or are they simply skin tags.

It is probably malignant/cancerous if it us that size and I think you should go get it checked.

my dad had that and i he was told to go to the hospital encase it was a cancerous lump

I think you should see a doctor as this could be a swollen lymph node and may be cancerous
