Hi I,m 45yr old female and for the last 7yrs I,ve suffered from cysts in my breasts. In one yr I was at the breast clinic 11 times but all they do is drain them. But they are so painful I asked the doctors if they could remove my breasts. They declined as they said they would only do that if they were cancerous.I had a hysterectomy in 1998 and have never been on hrt. Most days I cant wear a bra as its too painful, and even when i shower the water hurts when hitting me. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Hey there, I'm 14 and im 34F so i know how you're feeling. First I'd suggest getting a sports bra or binder. Binders squish your boobs so that they appear smaller and they're bound to your chest so they wont bounce as much. Don't wear it all the time or you'll damage the tissue or smth.

Im 25 and I have painful breasts, its been happening for 2 years, ive done everything for them, everything the doctor tells me,I get my bras fitted (which are not cheap) its not just my actual breasts that hurt, its above too, it feels like they are being ripped from my chest and my shoulders and back hurt (ive been told I have large breasts, i am a 32H, and im 4ft 11 in height. Ive lost 3 stone in a year and they have only gone down one size. They hurt that bad that when I exercise I have to wrap them up in a bandage or cling film to keep them from moving. Please help, im so fed up

Does anyone know of any reason why I have lost sensitivity in the skin on one of my breasts? I too have very asymetric breasts and it is the larger breast that has recently (6mnths) become painful, and lost sensation in the skin (within the last 2 wks). Any ideas before I have to bother my GP. Thanks in advance.

Please try

I have pain in the sides of my breasts, especially under my arm. Under my arm feels tender, and painful when pressed. I have checked for lumps, but am not sure if there is one under my arm. The pain is not so much in my breast but it is sometimes painful on the outer sides of my breast. Has anyone else had similar symptoms? If so, what was causing it?

Hi Rihanna, Your boobs dont seem to much of a worry, if your breasts fit a 32b and one is really to big for that bra and the other is to small, that is when you need to be concerned. But from what i have read you dont seem to have much to worry about. Your bikini thing... dont worry about what people think! Everyone has there own problems. If its getting you down go to your GP trust me they are really helpful and explain you think you have Assymetic breasts. :) x

I'm still young and I'm still growing but honestly getting surgery is a painful method for bigger breasts and I think that getting surgery for your breasts will only please the pervy boys and maybe even you but you do know that those aren't your real breasts you dont need surgery for it. Ypu don't need surgery for everything there's a purpose that your breasts are small don't push it.

I have been diagnosed with a fungal infection and the result is thst i am losing my hair in a week most of it has gone. I have seen 4 doctors till this was sorted and 3 blood tests

My breasts are a 36H and i hate them!!! they cause me back pain, i have stretch marks on them, they are painful and because they are so heavy they sag. Its so difficult to find a bra to fit over here, i got some in the USA and even there it was hard to get a bra in my size. I am also overweight my doctor says if i lose weight my breasts will shrink but my breasts prevent me doing things like running and playing sports in order to get rid of the weight because the weight of them causes me pain. It affects me physically and emotionally. i feel i cant have a boyfriend because i am 18 and my breasts look like those of someone much, much older. surgery is too expensive so what can i do?

I was worried about my lumpy, painful breasts and was referred to the breast clinic by my GP. I had an ultrasound scan and was told that I simply over produce milk due to the contraceptive pill I take which is Cerezette. I'm 32 years old and not pregnant and never have been but do get very sore breasts. I have heard that camomile tea helps so have started to drink this. Is there anything else I can do to soothe my breasts when they are producing milk?

Plz help, for about 10yrs now I've noticed that due to me having big breasts, 42E I'm getting really bad sores under them, I get a yellowy discharge that gives off a real bad smell and it leaves my skin under the area that sore, I need to apply cream to sooth the pain, but cannot wear a bra nor leave my breasts hanging as anything that touches the area irritates it and makes it worse, and I get these lumps on and around my breasts also. They r red in colour, sometimes dark red, purple, they come and go but can be painful, what is it that I'm getting and why- how do I get rid of these problems.

i think the reason for the sores is swaet having big breasts means that the underneath of the breasts get very sweaty and that can cause sores keep up with the creams and wear sports bra's 1 or 2 sizes bigger to allow room to move a bit

Hi I am 43 years old and have suffered with large breasts for years. I am now a 32JJ. I have visited my GP as I have constant shoulder pain, sores under my breasts etc. I cant now do any exercise as my breasts are too painful afterwards. I feel very self conscious about them and sometimes I dont even like to go out of the house. I mentioned this to my GP whom never even examined me and never even asked my breast size. She just asked me if I could I could afford a private breast reduction as they do not fund this on the NHS. Can you help?

I recently had surgery to correct asymmetry in my breasts. I had two cup sizes difference (one was an A cup, the other a C), and I couldn't find a bra that would fit me, and although my breasts aren't large, I felt that their size made the difference more noticable. I had an implant put in the smaller boob and I am thrilled with the results. Before the op, I hated my breasts, I was embarrassed and just didn't feel happy about them for years. Surgery isn't for everyone - there are risks and it IS painful, but it was right for me. I was lucky to have my op done on the NHS, and it is worth trying, although it took me three times!

Im 17 too and I am a 34E and I have the same problem too! I started developing at the age of 11 and i have always had saggy boobs, i=I always got fitted every month so im not too sure why my breasts are so saggy. Unfortunately you wont be able to get surgery till you are 18 and it costs on average about 5k, but in the mean time there are exercises that apparently help perk your boobs up, these could include lifting weights maybe? You should consult a gym instructor or physicist or just google for full details on work outs to perk your breasts up

Funny you say that ..... I've been going to the gym for some time and i have been hitting the weights and working on the chest but not much of a change... I going to save money to get them done.. Good lucky with yours :)

hi i'm 23years old and i have 32GG breasts. i have just been referred to the hospital for breast reductions. I don't think that people understand how uncomftable and painful they are and only women in my situation will understand. I actually went to they GP when my husband was concerned about my health and the effect it is having on my back and neck pain. to hear him say this was a shock as i had always wanted it done but never took it further because of him loving them so much. they (the breasts) have caused arguments between us (on one occassion and there have been many) where we have been out and men are constantly looking at my breasts, i feel as if i am in the wrong and shouldn't be there as i am making a scene. but i shoudn't feel like this, should i? when i am out i hate my boobs and feel as if i can't wear the clothing that i want because people will judge me if my breasts are slightly showing but having big breasts you have got to remember that it is sometimes inpossible to find clothing that fits right and covers them up. i hate feeling like this i just hope the hospital do something for me.

Hi, I suffer with extremely painful breasts most months for about a week or two before my period. It is so severe they hurt when I walk and when I take off my bra to go to bed they can really hurt and make it difficult to get comfortable in bed. My breasts are not huge (A/B cup)so it's not like their own weight is adding the the problem! Should I get them checked out?
