I have some patchy skin pigmentation ton my face - dark patches on my forehead cheeks and upper lip. I believe it may be caused by my contraceptive pill(dianette) but my issue is that the pill is keeping my Acne at bay. If I stop the pill the pigmentation will fade but my acne will flare up... What can I do to keep both problems away?

Hi, I am 21 years old and I've had light pinkish coloring (which I heard was the lack of pigmentation) and it's on my stomach. My question: Is it hereditary and is there I anything I can do or use to get rid of the "pigmentation?" Also, it will get itchy on occasion.

I fully understand how you are feeling. I have vitiligo where there is no pigmentation. It's what's on our insides that matters rather than what's on our outside. Im sure you are a very kind, obviously sensitive and loving person. Concentrate on developing a beautiful personality, this will shine through your pigmentation areas... other people warm to warm personalities. Don't worry about how you look, no one is perfect.Try to develop your giftings instead, and lm sure you will soon start to concentrate on these rather than your skin pigmentation. All the best...

Please give me the name of the cream for pigmentation as I have the same problems too

Pigmentation on skin is mostly because of attack of dandruff or according to recent researches a type of yeast fungus, that causes white and dark spots on skin.make sure you dont have dandruff problem.if you do,then antifungal medicines are recommended.ketoconazole and selenuim sulfide.if you dont have dandruff problem.then orange juice can help reduce pigmentation.try using much of vitamin C as its a peeling agent and reduces pigmentation.
