I'm 13 my period started with 9 days after my 11th birthday. I have my period for about 2 weeks with stops , so I just kinda have them for a week then 2 days not and then they start again and I have them 4 more days . Is that normal ? I'm not sure . last year I had serious problems with headacs and feeling very dizzy . I even passed out ones ... it got better with the time . it lasted for about 4 months . at that moment I didn't really check if it was stronger or only on the days I had my period s I don't no if it is related to my period. I still get dizzy very often , mostly when I'm on my period but not only . my dad brought me to a couple of doctors to see what was happening last year , but they couldnt find anything . they even put some strange machin on me for a day to check my heart beat seeing that my mom has problems with it . they checked my brain too but nothing. all that could be found was that I had slight problems with balance . I was wondering if my problems could be related to my period and mybee the blood loos . I am 19 years old, and I have been having abnormal problems with my vagina; mainly, dealing with the appearance of it. Since I was very young like 13 years old, I have noticed that my vagina looked different. I believe normal young women are suppose to have "tiny butt" looking vagina (please excuse my informal use of language). But for me there is a large segment sticking out of my vagina. I am unsure what the condition is, whether it is just enlarged vaginal lips or uterine prolapse. Please help me out with this, I have been concerned with this problem for a very long time but yet have not enough courage to face reality till now. Thank you so much!

I look different and I do n't have sex any more because I did have 5 children and it has been many years now without sex I want to but I don't fill any thing any-more so it is getting very bad.so please help me from Christine

Christina if you are referring to the labia minora (that's the inner lips of the vargina) sticking out from between the labia majora (the outer lips) then there is nothing to worry about, it is perfectly normal, mine look like that. Some women may have a "tiny butt" looking vigina, but I think that's less common in women and normally only young girls have virginas with such appearances. If you're referring to something sticking out from your virginal canal then I have no idea. Maybe you could ask your gynecologist the next time you go for a smear test.

Coccygodynia (coccydynia or tail bone pain). I'm 23 years old, male and I really suffer from intense and permanent tail bone pain for many years. MRI and x-rays show no obvious problems now. Everything started almost 12 - 15 years ago when I fell backwards from a high spot. A cyst had also been created 3 years ago which I had removed surgically. Unfortunately pain became even stronger since then. In addition there's also another pain in the groin (lower right side) for as long as I face coccygodynia. Some doctors claim it may be a side effect of it. I have seen many doctors. Nobody knows how to treat this condition. What else should I do? (I apologise if there are any mistakes for I don't use english as a native language.)

I have small breasts also. I was just wondering if Dr Yannis Alexandridis is Greek or Italian. I do not speak the English Language very well. I would be happy to speak to a Greek specialist. Thanks. Dianne

I have a wart like growth on the soft palate of my mouth, said to be a papilloma I have seen a ENT consultant, however I am based overseas and do not speak enough Spanish to talk at a medical level. What i did undstand is that he wants to remove it with topical anesthesia, but I know nothing more. How do they do this? Will it bleed, hurt, need stitches? It would be bad enough getting this done in UK, but when it's in a foreign language I am really scared. Pls help if you've had this procedure.

Hi, I have suffered from pelvic infections since the birth of my son 16 years ago but doctors think it is the result of an infection I got in my whomb after a C section I had with my first son.It took 18 months of problems & finally a laparoscopy to diagnose, but was then prescribed antibiotics which sorted everything out, although I was told it usually reccured but I would be given the antibiotics straight away in future now it was on my medical notes. This worked well for many years until I moved house/area & came off the contraceptive pill to try to conceive with my 2nd husband. & the new doctor was reluctant to prescribe this without referring me for another laparoscopy,& I did not have an infection at the time so did not wish this as I guessed it would show up I had nothing & in future be refused necessary treatment which worked. This is exactly what happened & I have had many years of bad health since, including reccurent miscarriage, with the same symptoms & referred from one consultant to another who are just not listening to me. I am being treated with hormones for the miscarriages which I wouldn't need if I was given the correct treatment & now at 42 my chances of a successful pregnancy are dwindling. Eventually they have been persuaded to treat the flare ups but it has been returning, which was previously kept at bay with long term low dose antibiotics. They are happy to give me something women prone to UTIs take during pregnancy but not until I become pregnant. However in the meantime it comes back & I'm wasting what's left of my fertile years feeling like I'm talking a foreign language because they are concentrating on the miscarriages being due to my age, but If I had the correct treatment to keep the infections away I doubt I'd have the miscarriages because ALL my problems disappear.

Touching yourself isn't a bad habit and won't change the appearance of your vulva, unless perhaps you are **really** pulling on and stretching your labia frequently for a long time. Appearance of your vagina and labia really varies a lot, and is probably genetic. Keep touching yourself, and work on your self-confidence and loving yourself and your body. Don't let anybody (including yourself) make you feel bad about your body! Surgery tends to be expensive and surgical procedures don't always go the way that people hope they will.

Touching your self has nothing to do with it. Its genetic. And completly normal. Don't be afraid of sex. I seen a study not to long ago that said men prefer a vagina with longer lips. Embrace your body. God gave it to you for a reason.

hi,i used a skin treatment to get rid of my freckles but it also reduces hyperpigmentation and sun damage, it was prescription only and was called obagi nu derm system. its quite expensive but really worked for me, hope this helps

In Daniel's episode he was prescribed a cream called Pigmanorm for his hyperpigmentation. This cream should only be used under medical supervision and after a correct diagnosis has been made, so please talk to your GP or Dermatologist in the first instance.

hi, i am 42 yrs old, i have one child who is 9, and i would like to know if there is anything that can be done about my problem. For quite some time now, i have had problems with my vagina, mainly inside. During intercourse i have very little sensitivity around that area, and also if i laugh hard or cough i can sometimes loose some urine. This is causing me problems now, as i will not go out with friends as i am bothered about weeing myself and also it is causing problems within my marriage as i will do my best to avoid intercourse, as i just dont enjoy it anymore. I have been to see my GP about this, but all i was given was some exercises and some cream to try, which didnt help at all, and if anything just made me more frustrated, please help as this may be my last resort, thankyou

Your first move should be to get him referred to a Speech and Language therapist. If he attends a nursery they will be able to refer him if not see your GP. Don't worry about the results on here, but talk to a professional if you really are concerned. My son is 5 1/2 and is current being tested for autism. He didn't speak till after 2.5 either and was diagnosed with a language disorder. The most important thing is to get your boy the help he needs, do it quickly and there's no reason he shouldn't catch up with other kids.

Hi Carol, my daughter was born with a severe cleft palate (luckily no hairlip) but couldnt speak until her first operation at 3.5 years old. We could only use sign language until then. Shes had 3 major operations for her palate, mainly to improve her speech. She has lots of other problems that are linked, like Stickler Syndrome - (cataracts in both eyes). Its so hard for them - people are so quick to judge. Im now a fundraiser for a cleft lip and palate charity. Good luck for the future and stay strong xx

If this was her first time, then most likely what happened is that you broke her hymen (or "popped her cherry" to put it in the common language). This is completely normal and nothing to worry about.

I purchased the Wartner Gel pen and have not Used it yet because all the instructions are in a different language (not English). Do you mind sharing how you applied, how long you left it on, did you wipe off, etc. This would really help me for the application process.

I am the author of the book ULTIMATE PARURESIS GUIDE It was firstly published in europe in german language but it later got translated into English. At boldbladder com one can get a PDF Version of it. Regards

I WAS CURED WITH ANTIBIOTICS. I had been suffering of halitosis for 5 years and now it is over. An antibiotic cure called "metronidazole" in combination with "amoxicillin with clavulan acid" changed my life. I took it for 8 days and it worked. contact your doctor and show him/her this mail. My reason for the halitosis:I had a too high level of natural bacteria and they were causing virulence. Try this one. It helped me and maybe it will help you. DONT GO TO YOUR DENTIST WITH PERMENANTLY HALITOSIS. Dentist will recomand expensive treatments for you. They will lose money if halitosis and perodental problems is cured best with antibiotics. English is not the spoken language in norway so i hope i make myself understandable

Go back to your GP & ask for a referral to the community paediatrician, you can then discuss your concerns & hopefully they will point you in the right direction (we saw paediatric physiotherapist, occupational therapist & speech & language therapist). Good luck

I'm in my mid-twenties and I've had Psoriasis for close to 15 years now. I also have 4 tattoos, one of which is a very large back piece. I can only speak from personal experience but getting tattoed has had no influence on the severity of my come-and-go-cycles. This is in no way meant as 'just go and do it', I'd suggest asking your dermatologist. It may depend on how severe your case is and where you want to get tattooed. (please forgive any mistakes, english is not my first language)

this is a poor test of Autsim is does not cover a variety of feature such as recpetive and expressive language diffiuclties, etc- this is a very old school view of how Autistic spectrum conditions actually prestent. (this is the offical world health organsiation title) If you have concerns regarding your 'social communication' (which is what autism is ) as an adult a clinical psychologist or a pyscharitrist would be involved with diagnosis- NOT YOUR GP

It does say before the test that it is not a diagnosis - I think it's mostly for fun and helps those who might be concerned to go to the doctor.

I scored 33 and began to worry about this. My autistic friend told me to take this test because he thought that I had autism too. I will take the 'formal' autism test because my mum found that I really had autistic symptom. I'm 14 y.o girl and don't have any female friends at school. :'( but I am great in science, math, language, and computer!

In my experience you do not need an MRI scan to confirm diagnosis. My son had various language tests with a speech therapist and various co-ordination tests with an occupational therapist. Scores are given for each task and then the results are assessed by a paediatrician and a diagnosis is confirmed. We were told that the professionals don't like to make a diagnosis before the age of 8 but we pushed for ours and got it when my son was 7. We were also diagnosed with Tourettes Syndrome at the same time.

aaah this is a nightmare !! I am 18. I have been having great, normal sex for 2 years and now all of a sudden I'm hit with this !! 10 months I have been suffering from this. My gp looked at me like I was talking another language and refered me to Relate (really good by the way guys !!!) however after a while they said they weren't quite right for me. I am petrified of examinations but I fear it is my only way. My family Planning clinc has suggested this is the only way. its easy for them to say "just face your fear" but it's the biggest fear I have. After 10 months I don't think I can take any more - perhaps it is time for me to shut my eyes and go to the Gyno's :( !!!

My son has been in trouble since he has been really young and was always put in a room on his own at school because he would throw things and use abusive language. I often thought it was because my ex partner my sons dad who was an alcoholic and a control freak that he was the way he was. I am no longer with his father and haven't been for many years. He is now 13 and still struggles at school, likes routine and struggles with his emotions and has never been able to talk to any one about how he feels or accept responsibility for his bad behaviour. It has been a massive struggle for me on a day to day basis and he is now at a support school but I want to get a diagnosis for him as I do believe he has autism.

A diagnosis would help your son massively. Not only would teachers then understand him better, it would help you and others around your son. Also try to get him a statement of education (the government have significantly cut down on how many they give out, but it would be another huge help in getting support).
