i have about 8-10 small black spots raised on outer lips of my vagina. the fisrt one i got was quite raised and sore ,i seem to be getting more and more _ they are on both sides around my vigina on the outer lips. I've always been told I have a sexy p***y and its been looked at and treated well but now I'm so embarrassed and worried. Im so embarrased by what it looks like i dont want anyone looking there - where once i really enjoyed that. I don't even know what to say when I call the doctors office so I don't want to...it's really embarrassing.

When people talk about scars from spots, does that include red marks left from where you've had spots? Because the only scars I hear about are potholes. Because I'm 18 and I've suffered badly with spots since I was 15 on my face and upper back/shoulders and now I have loads of red marks everywhere but no potholes. So are these red marks scars or will these eventually clear? Also on my back/shoulders I have raised lumps which seem like scar tissue and I think these are from spots, will these clear up?

Hi there. In the past couple of days I've been sleeping with my new girlfriend, spots have started to appear on the shaft of my penis and 2 on the pubic region. They aren't normall looking spots, they look like large black heads and are only raised at the edges not the black coloured centre. Slightly soar. Im normally pretty good on my sexual health information but this however is worrying me.

I have eczema on my breats, especially my right one, and mostly from what you've described here it does sound like it. However, I recommend you see your GP or a sexual health clinic and get it checked out - I definitely would if it itches too much. Also, just in the meantime, try not using perfumed washes, and try baby shampoo and a shower gel called 'Double Base' in the shower/bath instead - it really helps. :)

hi, i have two raised moles; one on the left side of my stomach, and the other on my right armpit. they are raised by about 3-4mm. i've had them since birth, and they haven't changed in shape or colour. should i go to the doctors and get them checked out anyway?

My daughter was told the spots on the crease of her arm were molloscum and she had approx 60 spots, some very raised and clustered togther. I read about people using active manuka honey 18+ from Holland & Barrett. It is very sticky but we have been applying this twice a day now for 11 days and we can really see a big improvement. the spots are really shrinking and seem to be drying out.It really does seem to work.

I am told that the red spots I have are De Morgans spots. What causes them? Do they ever turn cancerous? Can I get rid of the larger raised ones?

I have them too! I'm also 16 and I hate them, they're extremely embarrassing. Apparently though they're completely normal, aren't contagious and do no harm to anyone. Would still love to find a way to get rid of them though...

Actully find someone with the same issue, I'm not personally worried about them but I have a girlfriend and I don't think she has noticed them but think she is getting close to, I find it soo embarrassing when she is touching me that she may get scared of what it is and we'd both be in the same embarrassing situation, what should I do?

From your description it sounds like they are Fordyce spots. Fordyce's spots are small, painless, raised, pale, red or white spots or bumps 1 to 3 mm in diameter that may appear on the scrotum or shaft of the penis. They are common in males and females of all ages. The spots are a form of ectopic sebaceous gland: normally, sebaceous glands are only found in association with a hair follicle. They are not known to be associated with any disease or illness and are of cosmetic concern only. They aren't infectious and are a natural occurrence on the body. I would suggest that you do an Internet search for Fordyce spots and look at some photos to see if they are similar to what you have. If so, nothing to worry about.

"Fordyce's spots" are the small, raised, pale or white spots or bumps 1 to 3 mm in diameter that may appear on the shaft of the penis. They are common in men of all ages and a normal anatomical variation, meaning they are not a disease and perfectly harmless.

i have had a mole on my back for a while but recently we have been on holiday and its been itchy and the skin round it has went bumpy like a cluster of spots but its not spots its just hard raised lumps that are sore and itchy wha should i do ?

It is highly likely that these are Fordyce's spots which are perfectly normal. They look like slightly raised, white hair follicles. If the spots are normal for you, and they are not painful, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about but you could always see your GP to confirm any doubts.

Hi I've noticed some bright red spots around my torso, a few on my chest and some more round the mid part of my torso. The spots are not raised in any way and don't itch but have just cropped up over a few years and don't seem to fade. I would consider myself as overweight as well, I'm 6ft 1 and 17 stone 7lbs. Any ideas?.

I just found what I thought were genital warts, on my vaginal lip just where where the vermillion is. I researched and think they are Fordyce spots? But when I found them I pulled a little and it's now more raised. Is this possible with with Fordyce spots?

I was in the same boat as you.. I was sent to see a dermatologist and was given a trial drug called roacutaine... They worked but the side effects can last a lifetime, depression being one of them.. All i'm saying is, before you use anything please research it.. Even if somebody tells you it's fine...

sadie, i have the same problem! i get them on my face and shoulders, back and even a few on chest. I went to the doctor who prescribed me a cream and tablets called Tetralysal, and they are doing the trick nicely.

I have whiteish/yellowish small raised bumps or spots all over my scrotum, on the underside of my penis and on the head of my penis. I have visited a GUM clinic where I was told this is normal however the condition is seriously having an adverse affect on my life (and im only 20). I have self researched the condition and it looks as if I have something called Fordyce Spots. Can anything be done to help my situation?
