I've had a burning stinging feeling under my arm when I looked there was a red circle, and when I felt it there was a lump under skin below the redness, a week on the redness is gone but I can still feel the lump, should I be concerned?

I went to the GP after having sore, itching, redness a sometimes small cuts which were the size of a small paper cut. She said i had Thrush so i got prescribed for canesten cream and tablet. i did forget to apply the cream but its been about 2 months since and ive still have some of the symptom, redness and cuts-but not as much. I was wondering if anyone knew of anything which works a bit quicker or better. Thank You

Hey! Yes this is perfectly normal! Every girl I know gets it:) using a brand new rasor instead of a blunt one helps as it isn't pulling on the hair as much! Also moisturising and shaving downwards towards yor vagina will help! Hope this helps

Im 18, male, and for years i have had red cheeks. Since i was about 3 or 4 years old, i have always slightly had red cheeks. During the years, the redness of my cheeks have dramatically increased to the time that i am too embarrassed to even leave my own house because i am affraid of what others will say about them. And it is lately that the redness had started to spread itself to the side of the neck. I have been to the GP and they given me normal cream to apply on the cheeks on a daily basis. But they have only gone worse since applying the cream. I again went to the GP and they constantly say that to keep applying more and more cream for which is only making it worse and will not help the reduction of my cheeks. Can you help me please. I am so embarrassed it has ruined my social life and emotional well being as i just hate myself for my sheeks. PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi, Im 17 and my penis is really red and sore. I can retract it when I am flaccid but it just barley retracts below the head of my penis. When it retracts (flaccid) it keeps getting pulled down by this little piece of skin, looks kind of like a bridge. There is this piece of skin attaching to my foreskin and penis that wont let me retract it all the way. Is it supposed to be there and can i get it cut off? Also the soreness and redness of my penis is severe and makes cleaning it painful. Is this pain and redness the cause of too much masturbation? When i retract my foreskin it hurts. I want to get this all fixed before I become sexually active. It is too embarrassing to tell my parents. This si a really annoying problem and my doctor told me to wait will next year...i want this solve dnow.

i am 19 i had a c-section 11 months ago. from the very moment the staples were taken out everything went wrong as the person doing it said it is still a little open. i washed and cleaned it everyday and thoroughly dried it, however the hole got bigger and i kept getting very sharp pains constantly, i went the doctors and got given spray for an infection and iodine strips. i did what i was told to do for 2 weeks and the pain went, the redness went down and the hole was tiny. however for the past week the hole has come back a little, the redness is back, it is very sore to the touch and yet again i am in constant pain with it 24/7 it restricts everything i do, affects my confidence and basically my day to day life. i have no idea why it keeps getting like this or why the things i get given arent a long term solution. i keep wondering if it something inside or if im just very unlucky in healing. i just need answers to anything that will help me get this sorted. please any advice will help, i just cant physically handle this pain anymore. thankyou , kerry x

I'm fourteen years old and for all of my life, my cheeks have been red. They are always red and get very hot. Over the past couple of years, the redness isn't so bad but is still very noticeable! I very rarely get spots, its just the redness making me feel so self-conscious! People at school often make remarks about my cheeks, which makes me embarrassed, which then adds to the redness. I have tried a few cover-up creams from boots which haven't worked, is there any proper treatments for my condition?

Facial flushing or redness alone is not indicative of rosacea. I don't believe for a second that rosacea is anywhere near as common as they make out. flushing is a very normal mechanism and facial redness can have many causes. One thing I would like to say though is UV damage weakens the skin and breaks blood vessels commonly causing facial redness.

I will ask something weird around my vulva. I got yeast infection 2 weeks ago. My vulva area has this redness and red spot. At first when I feel the itcheness I scratch so hard then my partner asked me not to scratch it because that may be the caused of the redness. So, I stop scratching it then few days the redness was gone but after those days I tempted to scratch because the itchiness so annoying and the redness came again but I notice something is that there is this strange appearance of the red spot, it became something a small straight structure but still its part of the skin of the vulva. I tried to search almost everything in the internet and still I havent found answers and even a hint. Can you please find answers for me? I really wanted to visit an ob-gyne but I really dont have the guts to explain or to allow a doctor to see my vulva and also I'm afraid of the result. Please do help me. Thank you.

I am 31 and have dealt with this my whole life.. reading your stories is like looking into a mirror.. I have olive skin and dark features but my redness is so horrible and it actually makes me hot, you can feel the heat from it.. how do you even explain this to a doctor. I find that when i start going red I have trouble getting words out and make the situation so much worse and when the redness happens it lasts the whole day even after I've composed myself.. I find sticking my head in the freezer sometimes helps to cool me down but the redness doesn't change.. the only thing i have found is that when I'm overweight it's so much worse but this may just also be to do with confidence. Wish there was something easy to help us all.

Having tried many products similar and most a lot more expensive, I was reluctant with my expectations of anything new. I have a lot of redness around my eyes and after about a week and a half of daily use of the Made from Earth Rosehip Hibiscus Serum, I actually could see the redness has lessened. With continued use, about three weeks now, it still seems to be improving. Even though I am 61, I don't have a big issue with wrinkles. Over all, I am very pleased with the results and the price!

I am a 45 yr old male and my blushing came as a result as mentioned above. I would go red at the slightest thing but I taker it in my stride as it is something I cannot control. However, a few years ago I started getting pustules on my face and much more redness affecting my cheeks and nose so I went to the doctor who prescribed a course of tablets which have cleared it up - it was rosacea. I still blush but no longer have the constant redness. great!

I am 37 and just been diagnosed with rosacea - redness of the face. I've noticed it's worse if I drink alcohol or hot drinks, or if I'm in a hot place - it's not so much to do with embarrassment or blushing. I've tried lots of different facial products but the best by far is a brand called Avene available in Boots. It's specially designed for people with facial redness and it's not too expensive - I'd recommend it to all.
