There seems to be something wrong with my penis. Its only about 4.5 inches when erect and I think its really small. Also, my penis keeps changing it size when its flaccid sometimes big sometimes smaller regardless of whether I am in a cold places or not. Especailly after doing sports, my penis will just shrink until really tiny. I am so obsessed with penis size right now that everytime i see another guy i will keep wondering what size his penis is so that i can compare which is getting kinda disturbing. In addition, I am kinda "girly" as in my actions are quite girly in a way but I am not gay or anything. I tried to control my actions but everything i do seems to give people the impression that I am gay when I am not, which is the annoying part. What can i do about it? So is there something with me? Should i see a doctor? And if I did, is there something the doctor could do?

how old are you? 4.5 inches is slightly small for a fully grown man, but if you are only a teenager then no, it's not small. And if a girl loves you, she won't care how big you are. Stop worrying about the size. I'm not sure about it changing size alot, but I know that a penis will shrink after being in water.

gay isn't bad, but maybe you just need to watch what you do in different situations. i had the same issue, except it turns out im actually bi, so for me it doesn't matter. just try to be comfortable with yourself and stuff the rest.

Hi, sorry this isn't an answer! I have been suffering terribly with bulging varacous veins since I was about 13/14. I was wondering if you got them removed on the nhs or you had to pay. I have been told by several doctors that they are some of the worst they have ever seen and I have been referred twice for surgery but it never goes any further than that and it is ruining my life. Can you give me any advice?

I have just turned 22 by the way!

My 8 year old daughter has had repeated uti's over the last few years (non symptomatic) and they have now said she is not emptying her bladder properly, so want her to use CIC. They have done a flow test and that is all and have not looked in to the reasons/causes. Surely, they should do some more investigative tests? What tests do you think we should be asking them to do, so that we can get some answers? If she were to start the CIC will the bladder work again properly one day or is this it for life now?? Should I be so cautious or does it sound worse than it actually is?? Otherwise, she is totally healthy ... help!!!

I'm a 57 yr old female who still enjoys sex, more now then when I was younger. Through the years I've had repeated yeast infections, and misery after the act, and treated the itchy, swollen area the best I could. I've been tested for diseases and they've come back negative. My current "friend" enjoys oral sex, but I've experienced diahhrea usually 2-4 hours afterwards and it seems to get worse each time. Could I have a sperm allergy? Best way to treat??? I'm thinking probiotics, allergy meds. Help!

Following your show on Monday I checked myself and noted some changes. I went to see my GP today who also noted a thickening of my vaginal wall. Ive a complex history with 4 children, 2 vaginal deliveries, left ovary removed due to benign tumour, 2 colposcopy and loop diathermy due to abnormal smears and over the last 12 months repeated bouts of thrush. Ive been referred for a scan but have to wait just over 3 weeks and I'm really worried. Any advice?

Obsessive compulsive disorder is a type of the anxiety disorder. People with the OCD become preoccupied with whether something could be harmful and dangerous. If you have OCD, you have repeated, upsetting thoughts called obsessions. You do the same thing over and over again to try to make the thoughts go away. Those repeated actions are called the compulsions. http://www.thebrainhealth.com/obsessive-compulsive-disorder.html

I've had OCD since my Grandad passed away 28 years ago. I believed that something I did or didn't do that day (turning on/off a light switch) caused his death. I belived if I had of done this he wouldn't have died. My day to day living is now controlled by my OCD whether or not something will happen depending on my actions. I get this 'thing' in my mind that tells me what actions to take to avoid anything bad happening. I wish I could live without doing this.

I had a blood sugar glucose test last year and it came back with a reading of 6.1. I had nothing to eat or drink in the morning before the test. The test was repeated a week later and came back reading 5.9. The test was repeated a year later and is now 5.7. However, the doctor still wants me to go back next year. She has told me to diet and exercise. Should I be worried about these readings. Grandmother had type 2 diabetes.

The readings are on the high side, not enough to be definitely diabetes, but you are probably insulin resistant. Your body is producing insulin your body can't use, but the doctor will tell you that your body is not producing enough. You should be measuring four times a day and working on reducing your blood glucose levels. See, at this point in time, you probably have no effects at all, but if the levels stay like that with no checks, they could creep up until you suddenly find you have full blown type 2 diabetes. Things which will raise your sugars : processed sugar, processed food, carbohydrates, stress (which also incudes the wrong kind of exercise). Start by cutting down on the obvious sugar, and if that doesn't work, cut down on fruit (high in sugar). Cut dowwn on white bread. Keep cutting until you see a decrease. Get it to a level that your doctor is happy with (I'm guessing the 4 - 5 mark - as a measure, I registered 5.2 and that's considered good). Then keep an eye on it. It's up to you. If you don't want complications, you need to do what's necessary.

To be honest i dont think it is anything serious to worry about as the doc would have told you. However make sure you do what the doc said, exercise and diet this could reduce you from getting type 2 diabetes and this can be gentic. Make sure you exercise and diet like the doc said and i wish you all the best of luck :)

There is a forum on the COB Foundation website to discuss IC. As far as antibitoics given for other reasons (eg. repeated cases of tonsillitis when younger) this is very likely a cause of IC. Antibiotics totally break down the digestive good flora and lay the body open to fungus overgrowth/candida/dysbiotic flora. In turn this will become systemic and go for the bladder. Many people who have had repeated courses of antibiotics when they were young have ended up with IC. The medical profession are totally ignoring this issue - they do not believe in candida. Anyone can have candida men, women and children - once the gut flora is messed up and out of balance the bladder can take the brunt of it. Overuse of antibiotics is lethal.

I have exactly the same OCD as you, see your GP and ask about 2 medicines called Sertraline and Abilify. I hardly ever do the actions any more, whereas I used to take hours to complete one task,or stopped bothering because it was too difficult.

Hi all Saw the programme the other night about the lady with vaginal and rectal prolapse. I too have a diagnosed vaginal prolapse after having a forceps delivery a year ago. After many trips to the doctors being told "it was normal and would rectify itself" they eventually refrred me to a gynaecologist who diagnosed the prolapse. I've been seeing a urotherapist who's basically against the surgery saying it only has a shelf life of 10 years and would need to be repeated quite a few times as i'm in my late 30's. She suggested pelvic floor excercises - which have done no good as i have absolutely no muscle tone downstairs. I'm having no joy with this department and have asked to be referred back to the gynaecologist as i would like to feel "normal" again and resume relations with my partner, who has been very very patient! To me, 10 years is a very long time and it is only a "maybe" that it would need to be repeated!

I would recommend that you go back to your doctor and clarify that your results were negative if this is continuing to concern you. Also if you are still getting symptoms then then you may want to discuss further actions to diagnose what may be the problem and future treatment. It could be trush which is similar.

She was diagnosed with a tear in vagina which could have been caused by psoriasis or eczema. In her case it was psoriasis. She was prescribed a moderate steroid cream and asked to wash the area with aqueous cream instead of soap. Aqueous cream is a cleanser/moisturiser that u can buy for around £1 in chemist. Steroid cream would have to be prescribed.

I have a very clean home with much attention paid to personal hygiene and repeated cleaning of surfaces in the home. I am 71 now, with auto immune conditions and 6 months ago to my horror I had the feeling of threadworm. I had this as a teenager and the sensation is the same. I am certain they are there and my partner also thinks he is infected and thinks he has seen them in his stool. I have been tested twice and it has come back negative but still this unmistakable sensation persists ! I /we have had repeated dozes of Mebendole, Abendozole ,Reece's Pinworm med. Also large regular quantities of Garlic, Carrot,Pumpkin Seeds, Cloves , etc Showers twice a day- ironing sheets , changed daily. Underpants in Dettol or Bleach then washed high temp, paper disposable towels and bath towels ( all of it costs a fortune ) We are at our wits end! This problem will not go away!!! I am in torment as it gives me the creeps literally! The treatments so far are simply not working but I am afraid to stop as I fear the infestation becoming worse! Please someone help!

A lot of highly intelligent people have high scores, as Autism is not necessarily a condition where you are a bit "odd"/ behave in a out of the norm way. It is the border between very bright and overload; where the actions are not of the norm. So, I would just say that you are using more of your brain power and "stepping in to" the overload side.
