Those symptons could well be depression. They can be very unpleasant and spoil your daily life. You can't help it and it doesn't have to be caused by anything in particular, and no matter how much you try and motivate yourself you can't always get rid of it on your own. I reccomend you speak to your GP, there are several (very safe) medications they can prescribe you that can have you feeling much better in the space of a month, and for as long as it's necessary to take them. The problem might be bought on by puberty and the fact you're a growing teenager, but don't just wait to grow out of it and be miserable - it might take years. Get the doctor to help you. If you are depressed, it might seem a hard state to get out of but you'd be amazed at the helpful effects that the medication to treat it can have. I know because I once suffered something similar to depression. Good luck.

thanks but i darnt go to the doctorr .. incase he/she thinks im pathetic or whatever and then my family would find out and they have enought to deal with x

Hi all, have been suffering for 2 months now with what started as an itchy vagina which then spread to my anus. I have been tested for thrush 3 times and it has come back negative everytime. I have been on two different coursesof anti fungal tablets and have been supplied with all sorts of creams but no luck. The skin on my anus is weeping and the rash is red and inflamed and has spread so far that it is starting to affect my bum cheeks too. I have only been washing with water and have avoided all foods that irritate. I have tried medicated talcum powder but this also has not helped. I wear cotton socks at night too.My doctor has said she cant help as she does not know what is wrong. This problem is so bad now that my walking is impaired and i cannot go out, my sleeping has taken turn for the worse and i know find myself having lack of sleep and restlessness. Please if anyone can offerany advice i would be so geatful.

The most common side effects are.. Restlessness A sense of dread Feeling constantly "on edge" Difficulty concentrating Irritability Your symptoms may cause you to withdraw from social contact (seeing your family and friends) to avoid feelings of worry and dread. You may also find going to work difficult and stressful and may take time off sick. These actions can make you worry even more about yourself and increase your lack of self-esteem. See your Doctor.

Hi Leanne. I have to share this with you. I too suffer in the same way as you and until I discovered this website, had crossed my mind if I was suffering a mental illness. In a way, we are. But only during our premenstrual days. PMDD causes a similar upset in our brain chemicals as bipolar does. I have been that bad just lately, I have only been normal for approx five days of the month. I feel your pain, it really is a battle to stay sane. Some months for me can be worse than others. I experience low moods, uncontrollable rage and even hatred towards my loved ones. This then brings in feelings of extreme guilt and sadness. I HATE it and prefer to be alone when I am feeling this irrational. I become confused, irritable and suffer sleep restlessness. It's hard for our loved ones to understand if they do not suffer with it or even understand this awful condition. Have you showed you partner this forum? It may help if you do. Anyway, after doing some research it seems that the herbal Agnus castus (also known as chaste berry ) can help control this imbalance. Please please get some! I have been taking this in liquid form which is strongest, completely cut out caffiene and switched to drinking pure chamomile tea. I have definitely felt a difference this month. I feel a bit teary and a bit scatty but hey if this is all I am going to experience each month then hallelujah!!!! I will be over the moon. I am going to monitor my next three cycles to see. But please try it Leanne, so many women swear by it. Do some research too.Good luck and if you need to chat, we are all on here to listen xx
